About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for our family dog, geese and ducks! Lately, i've committed myself to helping dogs and cats feel loved, safe and secure while their pet parents are away. I worked at a local veterinary clinic in their boarding department caring for overnight and long term clients. I previously worked at a local animal shelter for a year, where I learned the true responsibility of taking care of animals. Senior animals have such a special place in my heart! “Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

I am available for walks in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am also flexible, able to stay in your home, and open to some overnight stays. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, I am a pro belly rubber. I feel a connection with animals and I truly love taking care of them. I've taken care of friends' pets and even my former work manager's. About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I maintain clean enclosures, monitor temperatures and humidity levels for reptiles, and ensure all pets have the right diet, enrichment, and daily interaction. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, walking, playing, administering any medications, and offering plenty of love and attention. I also provide regular updates to keep pet parents at ease while they're away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved—no matter where they are.
About: We’ve always owned and loved dogs and animals of all shapes & sizes- ours are a part of our family and we will treat yours the same way. Our children will play & pet your pup and help me make sure they get lots of exercise while visiting on our 5 acre hobby farm. We are located in Greenville & are very conveniently located for drop off & pick up. I work very part-time from home as a writer. I choose my hours, and my children are also home five days a week. My husband has an office on our property, so someone is always around for company for the dogs. We have a few grassy fields for running around and playing fetch and a friendly Labrador to join the fun. We also have three barn stalls on the property right across from our house if they prefer to sleep outside, or I can also crate them or put out a dog pillow if they would rather sleep inside with us.

We play all day in our big back yard and we have plenty of safe, dog approved toys, a covered deck, and a big doggie door to go in and out. About: I started working with animals 8 years ago as a volunteer at a rescue barn. I've volunteered with about 3 other rescues and shelters, from walking dogs to monitoring health conditions. I just want to show all those little furry family members the love they deserve, and make sure they can be well taken care of if you are unable or temporarily absent. I currently only work 7-2 on weekends. Otherwise, I'm wide open and would love to run and play with your pets! We love treats and I'm a quick learner. Your routine, becomes my routine. I prefer to get a play by play of each animal's daily life at home so I can most relate their stay with me in my home to it. From feeding times to walking times and even play times, I love to have a set schedule to make all our lives easier. Of course flexibility is a must, and I'm happy to follow any needs that are seen fit because the animal's well being is top priority.
About: My parents owned a kennel growing up, so I have always have been comfortable working and taking care of a variety of animals. When I got older, I would petsit for friends, family members and neighbors. I have also volunteered with my local Humane Society since I was 13. I'm currently attending Furman University and my schedule is very open during the week and weekends. Because pet care has always been a part of my daily schedule, I will always ensure that your pet is receiving the best possible care. I can adapt my style of care to cater towards the owner's needs and wants for their pet. I love to spend time with every pet and make sure they don't feel alone.
About: I've had a pet of some sort my entire life whether it was dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, hamsters or snakes! I love caring for animals of any kind. I currently have 3 fur babies, 2 dogs and a cat, and 9 featherrd ones, chickens! Sharing my love for pets by helping out while folks are away doesn't feel like a job to me but more of a fun opportunity to do something I love. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I can take breaks for drop-ins and walks when it's convenient and if your fur baby is at my home I have a fenced back yard they can roam in anytime of day. About: Hello! My name is Alex and I have had a dog (or two) my entire life. Right now, Hank is my main man. He's a boxer mix I rescued in Albuquerque, NM in 2022. We think he's 5 or 6, so let's go with 5! I love all animals and I love being active so your pet is sure to have the best walk and/or playtime hanging with me.
