About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up caring for our family dog, geese and ducks! Lately, i've committed myself to helping dogs and cats feel loved, safe and secure while their pet parents are away. I worked at a local veterinary clinic in their boarding department caring for overnight and long term clients. I previously worked at a local animal shelter for a year, where I learned the true responsibility of taking care of animals. Senior animals have such a special place in my heart! “Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have been dog setting for the past 23 years. It all started when I watched my boss' 3 chihuahuas when I was about 17 and then I just have had many request ever since. About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old, I am a pro belly rubber. I feel a connection with animals and I truly love taking care of them. I've taken care of friends' pets and even my former work manager's. I (Roman) grew up in a village and have always had dogs—usually at least three. The last time before I left my parents’ house, I was taking care of four dogs (one mixed-breed and three Labradors). I also looked after friends’ and relatives’ dogs—mostly Corgis. One of them was almost completely blind and elderly, so I have experience caring for older dogs and know how to give insulin injections. About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. I understand the power of treats, their special toys and love! It's stressful when the owners are away, but I am here to fill that void. Rest assured, I can send you updates as needed. About: I have owned dogs all my life, I currently have a small pack of my own, 2 Boston Terriers and a Frenchie. We play all day in our big back yard and we have plenty of safe, dog approved toys, a covered deck, and a big doggie door to go in and out. I love to spoil pets with lots of cuddles, kisses and exercise. I have experience in doggie daycare, dog nutrition and special needs dogs. I am available 24/7 and would love the opportunity to take care of your dog or dogs and look forward to meeting them and building strong bonds with them so that you can rest assured they are in good hands. About: I started working with animals 8 years ago as a volunteer at a rescue barn. I've volunteered with about 3 other rescues and shelters, from walking dogs to monitoring health conditions. I just want to show all those little furry family members the love they deserve, and make sure they can be well taken care of if you are unable or temporarily absent. I currently only work 7-2 on weekends. Otherwise, I'm wide open and would love to run and play with your pets! We love treats and I'm a quick learner. Your routine, becomes my routine. I prefer to get a play by play of each animal's daily life at home so I can most relate their stay with me in my home to it. From feeding times to walking times and even play times, I love to have a set schedule to make all our lives easier. Of course flexibility is a must, and I'm happy to follow any needs that are seen fit because the animal's well being is top priority.

About: We’re a happily married couple, and we both love dogs. We will take care of your pet as if it were our own child. I (Roman) grew up in a village and have always had dogs—usually at least three. The last time before I left my parents’ house, I was taking care of four dogs (one mixed-breed and three Labradors). I also looked after friends’ and relatives’ dogs—mostly Corgis. One of them was almost completely blind and elderly, so I have experience caring for older dogs and know how to give insulin injections. Anna (my wife) is a total dog mom—if she could, she’d give birth to a dog instead of a human, haha. She’s an experienced dog sitter and has been doing this professionally for the past 3 years. I'm always at home, while my wife is at work— sometimes for just four hours, sometimes a little longer. There's always someone at home. Your pet's comfort and safety are our top priorities.
