About: I’ve grown up around all types of animals, not just cats and dogs. I’ve taken care of my own cat and dog for most of my life and will do anything to give them the love and care all animals need. I’m currently a full time student at the University of South Carolina. I love being a student but I also wanted to look into doing something on the side but that’s also fun. I think it’s always extremely important to be respectful of peoples homes. About: Aside from taking the best care of cats by keeping their area clean and giving fresh water and food I also enjoy bonding and playing with them, keeping them active and making sure they’re being loved on in the time that they’re in my care. I’ve rescued many stray cats, got them healthy and have found them a forever home as well as dogs too. If booked, the only reason I would ever need to adjust arrangements or cancel is if something major happens/is going to happen with any of my children. One of my son’s has special needs so I always like to specify that if he needs urgent care, I will obviously accommodate to my son first and foremost. That does not completely rule out your pet getting care, it could just mean that I would need to arrange “shifts” for my son with his dad or another family member to make sure he’s not alone for a long period of time in the hospital and I’d be able to step out for a bit. I think having an established routine leads to a very happy, well functioning pet. Whether it’s my pet or yours, the routine is the pet’s only concept of time. They like to know what to expect and when to expect it. Regular feeding times, consistent potty breaks, engaging with the mid afternoon “zoomie” spurts, and nap times are all very important for both canines and felines, as it all helps them establish what they want and need at different hours of their day.

About: Ever since I was little I've preferred the company of pets over people. My first job was at petco as a sales associate then after in the grooming salon and there i blossomed into who I am now! Currently taking a break from work after my stroke and what better way to spend that down time than cuddling with your babies? My favorite thing to do is work with animals and it truly does not feel like work to me. I dont have a fenced in yard so all walks are on leash. I do have long lines for times they need to stretch their legs and will be adding seperated fenced in areas for the dogs to have some safe secure fun in the good weather times.

The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! Owners are happy too as they return to a happy pet - dogs "tell" by their behavior and in over 500 pet sits, every dog has been safe, sound ... and happy! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!

About: My first job was at a German Shepherd training facility when I was 16. I was responsible for bathing, feeding, exercising, and playing with the dogs! I was one of their main caretaker for a couple years. I was also the primary puppy trainer at the facility. I’ve also had dogs of my own my entire life—big and small, and I absolutely adore dogs and love working with them. It makes me truly happy and relaxed to be with animals and I’m trying to find a stable living doing something I love! I live on 10 acres of land that has about a 50x50 fenced in yard for the dogs to run and play. I also have lots of space to walk and play with them. I live on a dirt road with very little traffic, so your babies are safe and will have lots of room and fun!!! When your babies are in the house, they are able to do just as you let them do at home. I do separate everyone when they are eating (that way there is no one eating someone else's food. Everyone comes in and sleeps at night. I also have an ADT system on my home so if I am out they are safely put in the house behind locked doors with an alarm system on. When they are outside, I have a camera on the fenced where the pups can be watched from my phone.
About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories go back to when I was around 2 or 3 years old petting the two cats we had under the dining room table. Later on my family got 4 of the 5 we still have today. I can't imagine life without them. I've had several dogs over the years. Winston, Sticks, and now Scooby & Nevill. My pets are family to me and when I take care of others' pets I treat them with the same respect. I've pet sat off and on for the past few years and I take the well-being of animals very seriously. I have watched over small dogs (pomeranians) and cats. However, I also feel comfortable taking care of larger dogs I have owned and befriended dogs of larger stature/strength in the past. (I had a Black Lab, my sister had a Saint Bernard, and my brother an ~90lb Pit Bull who I was very close with.) Overall the point is that I am very fond of animals and have been taking care of them my whole life. I have a deep love and respect for our furry friends. Family, Friends, and neighbors have allowed me to take care of their pets and home while they have been away on vacation or while they are working for long periods of time. I just recently completed my Veterinary Assistant Certification through Midlands Tech where I learned the key skills of Veterinary Assisting. I have always had a passion for animals which can even be reflected in my formal work experience. I worked for Tractor Supply for shy of two years where I was first introduced not only to brief pet care, but also livestock care as well. This fueled an undying passion for me and was the starting point of when I realized I wanted to make a future with the biological and technological aspect of animals. From there, I worked for QC Supply for a while where we specialized in more agricultural equipment, products, and biosecurity chemicals. Our specific store catered mostly to the commercial poultry farms in the area and taught me the true work and knowledge that goes into getting the stock from farm to table. Along the way, I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of the pets of family and friends, aiding strays, and making steadfast connections with the animals who come into my care. From here, my plan is to complete my prerequisite classes and then apply to the Veterinary Technician program at Piedmont Technical College. If booked, the only reason I would ever need to adjust arrangements or cancel is if something major happens/is going to happen with any of my children. One of my son’s has special needs so I always like to specify that if he needs urgent care, I will obviously accommodate to my son first and foremost. That does not completely rule out your pet getting care, it could just mean that I would need to arrange “shifts” for my son with his dad or another family member to make sure he’s not alone for a long period of time in the hospital and I’d be able to step out for a bit. I think having an established routine leads to a very happy, well functioning pet. Whether it’s my pet or yours, the routine is the pet’s only concept of time. They like to know what to expect and when to expect it. Regular feeding times, consistent potty breaks, engaging with the mid afternoon “zoomie” spurts, and nap times are all very important for both canines and felines, as it all helps them establish what they want and need at different hours of their day.
