Highly-rated overnight sitters - Roebuck
“This was our first pet sitting booking with Dara. Our dog enjoyed her stay with Dara and there lots of other dogs for her to play with. Dara sent pics and updates too. Will definitely book with her again for pet sitting services.”

“This was our second visit for my two dogs and they loved her and her little girl. She is a great dog sitter, we love that she took such good care of them and we will definitely use her again!”
“Angela was fantastic! This was the first time we’ve ever left our dog with someone not family and he was treated like he was one of her own. She made us feel at ease with leaving him. She made sure he got his medicine each time he ate and sent us updates throughout the weekend. We will definitely reach out again when we’re in need!”

“Kashawna was kind, responsive, loving, and exactly what my four legged kid needed! Our baby is high maintenance with insulin twice a day, pain meds once a day, and snuggles all day. Kashawna and her family loved on her and took great care of her while I was on vacation. 10/10 recommend!”

“Jen was great with my puppy Becca! Our 12 week old puppy can be lots of fun but also with lots of puppy nipping and high energy playing. I’m sure she required much more attention than a grown dog and Jen was great with it all. Great communication before and during the 3 day stay. She kept me up-to-date and sent lots of pics. I would highly recommend Jen and her family!”

“Andrea was very helpful guiding me through the process of Rover. As a first time user, I wasn’t sure how everything worked and she explained everything completely. She welcomed my two fur babies into her home for a week while my husband and I were out of the country. I was a little hesitant since it was my first time leaving them with anyone, but she was very reassuring that they were in good hands. While away she messaged us with updates and pictures. Upon picking them up she told us how much she enjoyed watching them. We highly recommend Andrea to anyone looking.”

“Once again Lauren and Jonathan did an amazing job taking care of Chuck Norris the doodle. We always know that he is in great hands and is having a great time when he’s with them. Thanks for hanging out with Chuck Norris”

“We are so grateful for “Grandma” Cristina. She treats our fur baby Roz like her own, and we love knowing that our pup is being taken care of so well while we travel. Plus, Roz has made lots of new furry friends at Cristina’s home and gets plenty of exercise and playtime.”

“I’m very happy with the care Rufo received. It was my first time leaving him with sitters, and they made me feel completely at ease. They kept me updated with photos and videos, and I could tell Rufo was happy and well cared for. I’ll definitely book with them again”

“Tara has had taken care of my cane Corso puppy juju three times now. We absolutely love her. She takes great care of her and keeps me update everyday throughout the day. Any time I’m looking for a sitter she will always be my first choice.”

“Carrie and Kurt are the Best! My little Marge feels right at home with them, I work long hours so I am so grateful for the care they give her every week. Thanks C and K and furry family.”

“Britney and her family took such excellent care of our dog! They were attentive & responsive and sent us many photos and updates throughout the week. I know my dog enjoyed his time with them. We look forward to rover-ing with them again (and again)!”

“We had a really great experience with Julie. She was very proactive in sending us updates and photos of Rusty. We felt reassured that he was well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely use her services for future dog-sitting/boarding needs.”

“Five stars isn’t enough for Angela. She took amazing care of my crew, sent updates, and somehow accomplished the impossible…. she got my 23-year-old cat, Josie, to play. At this point, I’m convinced she’s part pet sitter, part magician. I came home to happy, well-cared-for pets and complete peace of mind. I would recommend Angela without hesitation and will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Dee was exceptional! I can't say I've EVER seen my cats be so cool with someone new, so quickly. I never had any worries while we were gone on our vacation. Thank you for everything! I will definitely rebook!”

“Cassy is absolutely amazing—responsible and caring. She took the best care of my baby cat and treated her like her own. I received detailed updates, photos, and messages every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would trust her again!”

“Ari is super sweet and our guys really liked her. She made sure we didn’t have to worry about them when we couldn’t be home to check in on them. I definitely would recommend Ari for anyone needing their pets looked after!”

“Isabella was a terrific choice to care for our five cats. We appreciated her efforts to ensure our more shy, older cats were fed, while our younger cats devoured their dinner. She definitely met all of our cat sitting needs while we were away from home. We would gladly have Isabella return.”

“Anna was super kind and patient with our guys. They really warmed up to her when she met them! Definitely would recommend Anna to anyone needing their loved little ones to be taken care of!”

“Very pleased with the care that James gave my dog! He showed up on time, followed everything I asked, and made the whole experience stress-free. It really put me at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely use him again!”

“We left our sweet kitty Elora with Angela and her family over Christmas. We were very grateful for her to accommodate her and bring her into her families celebration. Elora seemed to get along just fine with her and her animals and came home just as content as when we dropped her off. The only thing I would mention for anyone with chemical sensitives Elora did come home smelling like a lot of artificial fragrances as did everything we dropped her off with and needed a good bath (she was not pleased about that) as we are chemical sensitive. This has nothing to do with the quality of care, and the genuine heart of Angela and her family just something to be aware of for those who have chemical sensitivities to artificial fragrances which is why I have rated 4 stars.”

About: I have had dogs all of my life since I was 4 years old. I didnt start to take up the responsibility to take care of them until I was about 7 or 8 years old. I have had a range of dog breeds and sizes in my care from a golden retriever to a toy Aussie. I love take care, play and just hang out with animals. I currently work as a middle school teacher so my summers are pretty free! Whether it’s a one day check in or a vacation, I will happily spend my summer with your pups! I will follow whatever needs you have for your dog(s) whether I have to house sit, walk, or just hang out with your animal for the day. I want to make sure you are comfortable with the care I give them.
“House was kept clean. Water fountain replenished. Most importantly, my babies appear to be happy and doing well. Rachel does a wonderful job sending many pictures during each visit showing feedings and play time.”

“My cats (and I) love Jonathan. He plays with and pets them during each visit and always sends lots of pictures! He brings in our packages and mail and does those little extras that are so special. I 100% trust him with my kitties ( most important) and in my house!! He is wonderful! You will be very happy you chose him.”

About: As a certified cat care specialist, I take pride in understanding and catering to each feline's unique personality. I have experience fostering shy and anxious cats and know how to build trust with even the most timid ones. My time are tailored to your cat's needs, whether that's play, gentle brushing, or simply providing a calm, comforting presence. I am very detail-oriented and will follow your routine closely to ensure your cat feels safe and relaxed while you're away.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! Sara took care of our two kitties on two separate occasions, and each time she went above and beyond to ensure they were happy and well cared for. Sara kept us updated during every visit with detailed (and entertaining!) messages and wonderful photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the pictures and updates that our cats were comfortable and content in her care. Sara was punctual, reliable, and thorough—she never missed a visit and made sure all of our instructions were followed perfectly including giving daily meds to one of our kitties. Her genuine love for animals really shone through, and we could tell our cats were in excellent hands. We highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional pet sitter. We've already booked her for an upcoming trip and we know our kitties will love seeing her again!”

About: My résumé includes dogs, cats, muddy boots, mystery noises in barns, and convincing animals that the thing they absolutely do not want to do is actually a great idea. I've learned that patience, consistency, and a pocket full of treats or a favorite toy solve most problems. Animals have always been a huge part of my world. On any given day, I might be caring for horses, spending time with my dogs and cats, or helping a nervous animal feel comfortable in a new situation. I understand that every pet is different. Some want a long walk and a game of fetch. Some want a quiet companion who respects their space. Some have very strong opinions about breakfast arriving precisely on time. I have experience caring for animals of all ages, from energetic youngsters to seniors who need a slower pace and a little extra patience. I'm comfortable with large dogs, multi-pet households, and pets with established routines that need to be followed carefully. Friends often describe me as observant and dependable. I pay attention to details, communicate clearly, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal's personality. Whether your pet is an adventure buddy, a professional napper, or a lovable troublemaker, my goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you're away. As a lifelong animal owner, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I will treat them with the same attention and respect I give my own. I currently have flexible availability most days of the week and can often accommodate pet care requests around my existing animal care responsibilities. Caring for animals is already a part of my daily routine, so I understand the importance of consistency, communication, and showing up when expected. Beginning in August, my availability will shift as I start graduate school, and I will primarily be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I believe in being upfront about scheduling and only accepting bookings that I can fully commit to, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication. Every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to follow it as closely as possible. During drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, meals (if needed), potty breaks, exercise, and attention tailored to their personality. Some pets want to play, some want belly rubs, and some prefer a quiet companion who respects their space. For walks, I focus on safety, consistency, and making sure your dog gets both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I pay attention to weather conditions, energy levels, and each dog's comfort and confidence. I also keep an eye on the little things. As someone who has cared for animals for many years, I know that changes in appetite, energy, mobility, or behavior can be important. If I notice something unusual, I will communicate it promptly. In a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the household itself. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, and for you to come home to a happy pet and a home just as you left it.

“Hayley and her husband were lifesavers for me today. I had to start a job and only had about twenty minutes to find someone. They were ready and willing. My baby girl had such a great day that she was asleep before we got to their stop sign! ??. I would definitely use them again.”

About: I am passionate about providing peace of mind to pet owners knowing they can leave their fur babies in the comfort of their own home, or mine, to be cared for while they are away, rather than a stressful boarding facility. I have experience with a large variety of pets and am very comfortable with the differences animals can have. From the shy guys who need a little patience, to the seniors who need a little extra tlc, to the puppies still learning their manners❤️ I currently work part time as a caregiver and have a very flexible schedule. I enjoy providing quality pet care for clients needing daily walks or vacation care. I pride myself on caring for others pets the same way I care for my own. Quality care, trust and reliability are of the utmost importance to me.
“Tara was great. She was waiting for Pickles at drop off and walked her several times. Frequent updates during the day were greatly appreciated. Waiting at pickup time made going home transition easy. Highly recommend Tara. She anticipates what owners want and delivers. An awesome sitter.”

About: I've always liked to rescue animals and care for them from a young age. So lots of my family and friends would bring animals to me or trust me to petsit for them. I've not only cared for dogs and cats, but also turtles, toads, and a few birds. I'm currently solely attending classes so I have plenty of availability for your pets to always feel well cared for during their stay with me! I have a fenced patio, luckily there are a few pet friendly parks that surround me. I follow any instructions given for your pet care to a T since no one knows your pet like you do. I have a housemate, but she is just as loving to any animal brought in.
About: Hi! i did private boarding for 14 years but only want to keep 1 or 2 from same family at a time since I'm retired. Guests are only crated when I am away from home. Recently retired and home 24/7. I have a super flexible schedule to allow for plenty of play time and walks around my farm. Must be cat friendly as I also work with cat rescue organizations and have 2 inside cats of my own. I have a super large, fenced yard with two 7 year old Border Collies who get along with everyone and everything. In addition, I have a large screened porch for an additional space. I love walks and can take yours, too, for no additional charge.
About: Hello there! I'm Razelle, your local dog walker reporting for duty! I'm here to make sure your pup gets the best care possible. I currently do remote work and have found plenty of dedicated time to do something I really enjoy on the side. As a certified Rover pro, I provide all sorts of services. From dog walking to house sitting and drop-in visits. But what sets me apart from the rest of the sitters is my passion for your dog’s well-being. I've had countless reviews on Rover and other platforms commenting that I treat their dog as my own. If you have training regimes or a set schedule, you can count on me to get it done! I also incorporate basic obedience training during our walks [if requested]. I teach simple commands like "Heel," "Look," and "Sit" to keep your pup focused and obedient, even in the face of distractions. This can be important when facing unexpected encounters! FRIENDLINESS WITH OTHERS REQUIRED: Safety is a top priority for me, as I understand that your dog's well-being is of the utmost importance to you. For this reason, I am unable to care for dogs with a history of attacking other dogs or humans. Furthermore, if your dog exhibits any aggressive behavior during a visit, I will be unable to continue caring for them in the future. This policy ensures the safety of all dogs and humans in my care and allows me to provide the best possible service to you and your furry companion. WALKING SUPPLIES? To ensure that your dog's walk is safe and enjoyable, please make sure that your pup has a well-fitted collar or harness, and that you have poop bags and a leash at the ready. While shoes are not required, I recommend them for added safety and comfort during your dog's adventure. Thank you for helping me provide the best possible care for your pup! Disclaimer: Ensuring that your dog's collar or harness is well-fitted is crucial to their safety during walks. If I determine that the collar or harness cannot be properly adjusted to fit your dog securely, I will be unable to walk your furry friend, as this increases the risk of your dog getting loose and running away. Please be mindful of the fit of your dog's collar or harness before scheduling a walk to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for your pup. SCHEDULE? Monday-Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Weekends: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change according to the sunrise/sunset* --------------------------------------------------------------------- FAQ: *WILL YOU SEND UPDATES OF MY DOGS?* You betcha! At the end of every walk or stay, I'll send you a detailed report on how your furry friend fared. You can expect to see all the commands we used during our walk, the exciting experiences your pup had, and of course, plenty of adorable photos from our time together. Who knows, you might even find yourself printing out the report and hanging it up on your fridge for all to see! *I HAVE NEVER LEFT MY DOG BEFORE, WILL HE OR SHE BE OKAY?* It is natural for some dogs to experience separation anxiety when being cared for by someone new. As a professional dog walker, I do my utmost to ensure that each dog feels comfortable and at ease with plenty of interaction and attention. It is not uncommon for new surroundings to disrupt a dog's digestive system, resulting in loose stools. However, there is no cause for alarm as this is a normal reaction to a change in routine. Typically, after 1-2 visits, the dog's digestive system will adjust, and any issues will resolve. It is important to note that the level of reaction varies depending on the dog's unique personality and temperament. *WHAT IF MY DOG IS SPECIAL NEEDS?* I am able to care for nearly ALL special needs dogs! 1) Allergies: Please let me know of any beforehand! 2) Medicine: info must be written on a note alongside food, with dosage, etc. (non-medical injections such as insulin is okay. In the state of Virginia, medical/complex injections require specific qualifications/certifications, which I do not have.) 3) Diapers are okay 4) Blind or Deaf? I’ve cared for several blind/deaf dogs and they’re always great! 5) Paralyzed: I have experience with a pitbull who was paralyzed from the waste down due to an incident. I kept up with physical therapy, indoor accidents, cleaning/caring, hand feeding. 5) Something Else? Let me know *HOW WILL MY DOGS BE CARED FOR?* When caring for your pup during visits and stays, their personality is my top priority. I will adjust my activity level according to their specific needs to ensure their safety and comfort. In the case of inclement weather or unfortunate situations that may cause your pup to get dirty, rest assured that I will have a towel or wipes readily available to clean them up. You can trust that I will provide the utmost care for your furry friend. Disclaimer: Please note that dogs can learn from their canine companions during visits. However, I cannot be held responsible for any habits that your dog may pick up from other dogs. Additionally, I cannot be held liable if your dog decides to consume unusual debris or objects during our visit. It is essential to keep a close eye on your dog and guarantee their safety at all times. *GROOMING?* Although I don't do grooming myself, I don't mind picking up and dropping your dog off at your preferred groomer/grooming salon for $10 each way. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for any injuries/damages/harm the grooming salon may cause to your dog. Please make sure that this is a groomer/salon that you TRUST. --------------------------------------------------------------------- ABOUT MY DOG Meet Suki, my adorable 3 year old Blue Merle Border Collie! She's sweet as honey and loves everyone, including cats, dogs, and humans of all ages. I can't guarantee she won't lick you to death, but hey, that's just her way of saying hello! I'm pretty strict when it comes to Suki's diet and exercise routine. She gets fed twice a day with a slow feeder to avoid any mishaps, and I make sure to keep her brain active with mentally stimulating games when we're not out and about. Speaking of which, we hit the dog park 3-5 times a week and go on hikes and runs at the lake. Suki's a ball of energy and loves playing fetch, so be prepared to throw that ball a few times! Now, let me be honest with you. It's highly unlikely, but on occasion, Suki might come along for a walk or a drop-in visit and hang out in my car. Don't worry, she's super chill and won't leave any fur behind. But if you're not cool with it, just let me know, and I'll make sure she stays home, catching up on her favorite TV shows or something. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please don't hesitate to send me a message if you want to chat about your pet concerns and their needs. Again, I am home mostly all of the day. Anything else you would want to tell me I would love to hear! Monday: 6 AM - 11 PM Tuesday: 6 AM - 11 PM Wednesday: 6 AM - 11 PM Thursday: 6 AM - 11 PM Friday: 6 AM - 11 PM Saturday: 6 AM - 11 PM Sunday: 6 AM - 11 PM *Times subject to change depending on the sunrise/sunset* UNAVAILABLE DATES: August 11th, 17th, 2024 September 13th-15th, 2024 December [PENDING] As a professional pet sitter, I am willing to do some serious acrobatics to keep your home spick and span, even if your furry friend decides to have a little accident. Let me know what your preferences are, and I'll do my best to accommodate them!

“My dog, Buster, loves coming to play with Garrett and Garrett’s pup, Dax, for doggy day care! Even though Buster is older he still has a lot of energy, and he is the only dog in our home. About: Hello, I am Binta! I graduated from North Carolina A&T in Greensboro, where I studied Animal Science. I have 9+ years of experience of raising pets, mainly dogs and cats. All throughout high school, I have volunteered after school taking care of rescue cats so that they can be comfortable while waiting for their forever home. I also used to work part-time in a local dog resort, looking after dogs of all kinds of breeds and temperaments. So, if your furry family member needs a walk or a friend to play with, you can count on me to keep him or her company while you are away for the day! I currently work part-time with an irregular schedule (dog and cat hotel, ironically), so I am free in some mornings and the afternoons and evenings for the time being. If not, I will notify you if it's not possible. Weekends, nights and holidays included. If it’s a drop-in request, I would like the owner to leave a list or on the pet’s Rover card on how much and what times they are fed. If it’s a walk request, I will have water and poop bags when your pet needs breaks during walks.

I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and energy levels, from playful puppies to relaxed seniors. I currently live with and help care for three dogs (ages 1, 3, and 12), so I’m very familiar with managing different needs! I work part-time hours, so my time is pretty open overall. My schedule is set for each week, so my availability will be posted well in advance. I make sure to keep a consistent eye on animals even if they seem to be low maintenance. That includes indoor/outdoor time and during walks. If you have any safety concerns regarding your pet, just reach out.

I will visit your fur baby multiple times a day and let them out or take them for walks. I will give them all the love they deserve.
About: I really enjoy animals so much. I just do not meet a stranger when it comes to dogs and cats. Your home would be my home away from home. Im 49 years old with a 5 year old son. I enjoy teaching him about how wonderful each animal can be. I personally believe if you teach a child to love animals they will grow up to be wonderful people. I do not have a big home but it is ful of love. We treat all animals like they are part of our family. I can not wait to meet you and your family (pets).. This job is a test to see if i can make an income big enough to stay home with my son. . God Bless each and everyone of you.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs! I’ve helped raise and train puppies, so I’m comfortable reinforcing routines and handling high-energy dogs. I also adopted an anxious rescue dog from a shelter and fostered 3 shelter dogs, which taught me a lot about patience, reading behavior, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable in new environments. I’m dependable, attentive, and flexible with scheduling, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. I know every dog is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one happy, whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just having someone calm and comforting around! I’ll care for your dog like they’re my own and make sure you feel updated and reassured while you’re away with plenty of photos and communication. My schedule is currently very flexible as a Clemson graduate and nursing assistant, which allows me to accommodate weekday and weekend bookings. I’m able to adjust my routine around pet care needs, including morning, midday, and evening visits or walks. I’m reliable with timing and will make sure your dog’s routine is followed consistently so they feel comfortable and cared for. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and trusting environment for every dog I care for. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, walk preferences, and any special instructions. I’m attentive to behavior and comfort levels, especially for anxious dogs or pets adjusting to a new person. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of the space and make sure everything is left clean and secure. My goal is always to make your dog feel safe, understood, and cared for like they’re my own.

About: Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile. About me: I’m currently a stay-at-home mom who chose not to go back to a full time position, as I need a break from nearly 20 years in Corporate Marketing. My love for animals and staying active throughout the day has led me to Rover. I’ve raised dogs and cats all of my adult life. From kittens, puppies, Pekingese, Pugs, to 95 pound Boxers, you name it, and I’ve probably raised it! I’m an active individual, so I love to be “out and about” and enjoy walks - I can do it all while you are away. If you need help with puppy training, or a kitten house check while you’re at work, I will make sure their needs are met and provide companionship. Aside from animals, I love gardening and decorating my home, so I have many projects on my hands to keep me busy through the day. I have a wonderful husband and a 7-year-old who fills my weekends with joy! If you need housesitting, (watering plants, etc.), while you’re away, I will help and will not charge any fees. You can consider me your “house sitter” the next time you go away! As a stay-at-home mom, my son is in 1st grade the majority of the day. I am available pretty much all day and into the evening hours. My days are routine and structured, so I would take the same approach with your pets. Unfortunately, I cannot sit overnight. Making sure your pets have their needs met is my first priority. This includes feeding, walking, and companionship to keep them happy when you’re not around.
About: I love animals and believe taking care of them is meant for me. I will provide the best care for your pets along with the best prices for you. I make time into my schedule to care for pets. I have more than a few days a week available and id love nothing more than to spend those days with animals. I care for pets with great detail such as doing any enrichment they require, feeding them the proper amounts as well as making the pet feel loved.

“This was our first pet sitting booking with Dara. Our dog enjoyed her stay with Dara and there lots of other dogs for her to play with. Dara sent pics and updates too. Will definitely book with her again for pet sitting services.”

“Once again Lauren and Jonathan did an amazing job taking care of Chuck Norris the doodle. We always know that he is in great hands and is having a great time when he’s with them. Thanks for hanging out with Chuck Norris”

“Jaclyn and her family were great with lulu. Lulu had a great time with them and their pup Tyson. Nice big yard for her to run around in and played great with Tyson. I have never seen my dog snuggle up to our other dog at home, like she did with Tyson! Will defineately book again with them. They were overall amazing!!! Definitely recommend to other rover users.”

“Andre and her family did a fantastic job caring for our mini bernedoodle! Andre was prompt with all communication and scheduling was easy. Her home is welcoming and Biscotti really enjoyed playing with their sweet lab and snuggling her kids. We could tell Biscotti was well-cared for when we brought her back home- she was calm and happy and jumped right back into our family routines- like she had a great vacation too! Thanks, Andre and fam! We’ll definitely book with Andre again.”

“Shayne and her husband were so friendly and inviting. They took good care of my girl and kept me posted about how she was getting along. It was so nice to hear my pooch hung out with some of the other dogs; I wasn’t sure she’d like that, but she made some friends!”
