“This couple was very hands-on with Dixie and Zoe . Walks everyday , administered medicine to Dixie and sent pictures daily. Monica is at home all day and loves animals. My girls were very well taken care of!”

“Lexie was amazing with our girls! She provided us with picture and video updates while we were on our trip. The property is amazing and a way better experience than a commercial dog boarding center. Our dogs seemed sad to leave her!”

“Yolanda was wonderful! We were able to go over and meet her, see her home, where our pup would stay, see her meet the other dogs, etc. It gave us peace about leaving her. She was a wonderful communicator and kept us informed on how Cora was adjusting. When I picked her up she had her all ready to go - she had her stuffed nicely packed up and Cora on her leash. It was a wonderful first experience and I look forward to the relationship that we have started to help care for our girl!”

“Therio and family were great with my girl! They took her on walks updated pics with me and spoiled her! Even Apollo enjoyed her company. Thanks for keeping Olivia last minute.”

“Honey has stayed with Cory and Stacey before and has a great time with them. They send pictures that show that she is comfortable with them in their home. I don’t worry about her, I know she is well taken care of.”

“Jenny was super pleasant, accommodating, and an overall dream. She lives about 50 minutes from me, but I would make the drive again & again for future sitting. She sent updates and pictures to put my mind at ease during my out of town trip. Jenny, you are the best!!!! I’m incredibly grateful to have met you!!”

“Dear Ms Karen, Thank you for taking such good care of me while my parents were out of town. I was not expecting my own doggie vacay but I did have a really good time! I enjoyed our walks and especially my relax time just hanging with you. I will tell my parents how good of time we had so I can come see you again soon! Love, Ginseng”

“We needed a sitter for our dog for a few hours while attending a graduation and we did not know anyone in the area. We found Aiko on Rover and everything worked out perfectly! Our dog can be nervous about going with someone new but she very quickly decided that Aiko would be a good friend. Aiko shared some pictures to let us know all was good and we were able to enjoy the graduation”

“Amazing lady! My dogs absolutely loved her and are even slightly sad the following day seemingly because they want to go back and play. She sent daily updates without me asking and let them play all day! She has a huge yard and a fun lil plastic pool which the dogs were obsessed with. Wish I found her sooner. Highly recommend.”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

“Jud and Nicole were very responsive and accommodating. Dexter loves staying with them with all the love and attention he gets. We highly recommend Jud and Nicole!”

“London & I absolutely love Ms Kathy She’s is super amazing I highly recommend her to anybody she is a must book her if I can give her a million stars I would that’s how amazing she is very lovely lady I am definitely a repeat customer”

“My dog normally is hesistant of new people but immediately took to Shannon. Shannon taught me about proper intros and health facts around bloating I never knew prior. She not only kept me updated while she boarded my high energy dog everyday she had her, she also was understanding of unexpected car issues i had on the day of pick up. I would recommend Shannon to anyone who needs a safe place for their pet and seeking good communication during whatever service they choose to explore with her. 10000/10 would recommend”

“Amazing experience, extremely communicative and easy to work with could not have asked for a better sitter. My dogs were very happy upon pick up and my dogs love playing with her puppy.”

“Sebastian is the absolute best! I would give him 10 stars if I could. He was responsive from booking til pick-up. He consistently updated me and sent many pictures of my baby, Caesar. Caesar has daily topical medicine that must be administered and Sebastian had no problem applying it for me. I truly believe Caesar felt like he was at home while in Sebastian’s care. I will absolutely be using his services again.”

“Sheryl is SO good with Ace! He doesn’t typically like strangers but he took to her from the first visit. Sheryl’s communication is outstanding and friendly. She always sends multiple pictures and lets us know how he is. Excellent service!”

“Emily did an awesome job taking care of my kitties, doggie, plants and birdies while I was out of town. She gave me frequent updates and pics of my little family and they all were alive and well when I returned. I would absolutely use her again…and again…and again..!:)”

“For my first experience using Rover, Alayna exceeded my expectations! She was so caring, responsive, and paid attention to detail. I was happy she suggested to come by to meet me before the appointment and did not charge like some people would have. I will definitely be requesting her services in the future and already recommended her to friends!”

About: My very first pet-sitting job was for a cat, and that’s when I fell in love with it. I’m passionate about making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I know it can be just as hard for them as it is for you, so I give them plenty of attention, care, and affection to help them feel at ease.

About: I have had cats all my life. I love caring for them and watching them warm up to new people. They don't trust easy like dogs so winning over a cat's affections is always heartwarming. I have experience with giving medication, cleaning litter boxes and more.
About: I’ve raised and cared for my female Siberian Husky, Lola, for 5 years come May! Before I got my sweet Lola, I helped care for my 2 family dogs while growing up. I’ve loved every moment with both my dog and my families dogs and would love the opportunity to care for others pets. I’ve always had a strong connection with dogs and enjoy meeting and caring for them whenever possible. I’m open to caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes! I am a recent college graduate who is still in the job search. While I am looking for full time employment, I would love to have the opportunity to care for families pets to earn some additional money in the meantime. I would cater to your pets needs in whatever way you need me to do so. I have a female Siberian Husky of my own that requires an enormous amount of attention and care. I give her this on a daily basis and love every moment with her. She makes my life even more enjoyable than it already is. She’s a very friendly dog who absolutely loves everything and everyone. I am available to care for your pets in home and will see to their every need.
“Morgan took care of our cat while we were away. We loved seeing her daily messages and pictures and came home to a very happy kitty! Thanks Morgan, for taking such good care of our guy!”

About: Hi! I’m Amanda, or you can call me Mandi! Thanks for checking out my page! I just recently completed my Veterinary Assistant Certification through Midlands Tech where I learned the key skills of Veterinary Assisting. I have always had a passion for animals which can even be reflected in my formal work experience. I worked for Tractor Supply for shy of two years where I was first introduced not only to brief pet care, but also livestock care as well. This fueled an undying passion for me and was the starting point of when I realized I wanted to make a future with the biological and technological aspect of animals. From there, I worked for QC Supply for a while where we specialized in more agricultural equipment, products, and biosecurity chemicals. Our specific store catered mostly to the commercial poultry farms in the area and taught me the true work and knowledge that goes into getting the stock from farm to table. Along the way, I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of the pets of family and friends, aiding strays, and making steadfast connections with the animals who come into my care. From here, my plan is to complete my prerequisite classes and then apply to the Veterinary Technician program at Piedmont Technical College. Please reach out to me to inquire for booking or for any questions you may have regarding care for your animal! Thanks so much! My schedule is open right now and I’ll specify on my Rover availability or via message if I have an issue with upcoming scheduling or a request. If booked, the only reason I would ever need to adjust arrangements or cancel is if something major happens/is going to happen with any of my children. One of my son’s has special needs so I always like to specify that if he needs urgent care, I will obviously accommodate to my son first and foremost. That does not completely rule out your pet getting care, it could just mean that I would need to arrange “shifts” for my son with his dad or another family member to make sure he’s not alone for a long period of time in the hospital and I’d be able to step out for a bit. I think having an established routine leads to a very happy, well functioning pet. Whether it’s my pet or yours, the routine is the pet’s only concept of time. They like to know what to expect and when to expect it. Regular feeding times, consistent potty breaks, engaging with the mid afternoon “zoomie” spurts, and nap times are all very important for both canines and felines, as it all helps them establish what they want and need at different hours of their day.

About: Ever since I was little I've preferred the company of pets over people. My first job was at petco as a sales associate then after in the grooming salon and there i blossomed into who I am now! My favorite thing to do is work with animals and it truly does not feel like work to me. I dont have a fenced in yard so all walks are on leash. I do have long lines for times they need to stretch their legs and will be adding seperated fenced in areas for the dogs to have some safe secure fun in the good weather times.
“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

“They are absolutely great! We are doing the day care, and the first night Comet (my super SUPER high energy dog) came home tired! He had all day to play and run around. They have a great space for the dogs. Highly recommend! They sent me updates and kept me informed as well.”

About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.

“Margie took awesome care of our puppy, Jasper. He has separation anxiety, but he was happy to stay with Margie, and when we returned to pick him up, he was glad to see us but was running back to Margie as well, clearly content to be with her too. The backyard is great for small dogs to be safe and play, and the house is very clean. I am very glad to have found Margie since Jasper is not happy staying home alone. He is looking forward to his next stay!”

About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. My earliest memories go back to when I was around 2 or 3 years old petting the two cats we had under the dining room table. Later on my family got 4 of the 5 we still have today. I can't imagine life without them. I've had several dogs over the years. Winston, Sticks, and now Scooby & Nevill. My pets are family to me and when I take care of others' pets I treat them with the same respect. I've pet sat off and on for the past few years and I take the well-being of animals very seriously. I have watched over small dogs (pomeranians) and cats. However, I also feel comfortable taking care of larger dogs I have owned and befriended dogs of larger stature/strength in the past. (I had a Black Lab, my sister had a Saint Bernard, and my brother an ~90lb Pit Bull who I was very close with.) Overall the point is that I am very fond of animals and have been taking care of them my whole life. I have a deep love and respect for our furry friends. I am confident in my abilities to provide for their needs.
About: As a high school teacher, I’m dependable, patient, and calm under pressure. I’ve personally owned three dogs over the past 25 years, so I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I do not currently have pets in my home, which allows me to give focused attention and care to the dogs I work with. I also love being outdoors and enjoy walks, routines, updates, and helping pets feel comfortable and cared for. As a teacher, I’m very organized and consistent with routines. During the summer, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of availability throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with pets. During the school year, I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I enjoy being active, outdoors, and dependable for both pets and their owners. I care for pets with patience, consistency, and lots of attention. With my own dogs over the years, I loved taking them on walks, riverwalks, lake outings, and other safe outdoor adventures. I enjoy keeping dogs active, comfortable, and cared for while also respecting each owner’s routines and instructions.

About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my family, and I truly love caring for them, whether they're big or small. Each pet brings joy and personality into our lives, and I take pride in providing them with the attention and affection they need. My lifelong experience with animals has taught me how to create a nurturing environment for every furry friend I care for! I will be sure to take pictures and send you updates of your fur baby as well. I am currently a stay at home mom. So I really have an open schedule. As long as I have notice, I can usually work on weekends as well. I am not currently early offering services at my own home due to my own animals and limited space at the moment. Possibly in the future though.

About: I have several years of experience with all size dogs, breeds and temperaments from puppies to adults. Our household has rescued a Golden Lab Retriever, a Hound Mix, and a German Shepherd. We also have a Shih Tzu and for being a small dog she is the most charismatic of all our dogs. I would love to entertain your dog by being outdoors, playing fetch, hide and search for his/her favorite toy, or any preferred games (needed according to age and mobility). You can count on me to give lots of love and belly rubs to your favorite canine friend(s). I am at your service to maintain a hyper canine from tearing down the house because he is bored or lonely by draining his energy.

I really love getting to meet so many dogs and care for them! Dogs are my passion in life, so it’s only natural for me to be a dog walker/sitter. I treat all dogs and cats like my own! Their safety and well-being are my top priority. I carry dog repellants with me when I walk to protect the dogs in emergencies. I am also careful to not allow outside interaction with other pets or people while they’re walking with me to ensure safety.

“Gina was wonderful! She was happy to meet us prior to our first boarding experience. She was delightful and knowledgeable and we felt confident boarding with her. She sent us pictures and updates daily which made the trip so much more relaxed. It was far superior to a kennel experience and we would not hesitate to board with her again.”

“Sally was absolutely amazing! She welcomed our Charlie into her family instantly. We loved the regular updates we received; both photos and video. S We will definitely be rebooking with her in the future.”
“This is the second time I’ve used Michael as my pet sitter, and he and his wife have been absolutely wonderful each time. They’re both caring, reliable, and attentive, making them my go-to pet sitters! Michael and his wife are officially my pet sitters, and I’ll definitely be using them again in the future. Highly recommend!”
