I was new to the process and didn't have any idea of what was going on and I wasn't very keen on the idea of having to leave him with a stranger. Fortunately, Kristin was very responsive and kind about the whole thing, which was very reassuring. I got picture updates daily and even videos. The neighborhood was very nice, her home was clean and organized, she had a fenced in yard, twin boys which I am sure my dog loved to be around, and the a sweet weiner dog. My dog has specific feeding and meds, which she accommodated. I didn't want him to be alone when I was gone and picking Kristin was perfect.”
“What a blessing it was for us to find Saffron. Days before our Thanksgiving vacation we were stuck without a sitter for our boy Levi. I decided to give Rover a try and found Saffron. Within a couple days we did a meet and greet and she brought Fiona and Shrek to meet Levi and they all got along wonderfully! Saffron sent plenty of pictures and videos during my 5 day trip and i didn’t feel like i was missing a thing with my pup! “Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!”
About: I grew up with 2 dogs in the house and got my fur baby 11 years ago. I’ve been taking care of my own and helping other for over 10 years. Love being outside and letting our four legged family members get their much needed play time! Stay at home mom with a flexible schedule to help with walks/potty breaks during the day. About: As someone who has had cats my entire life, I completely understand and respect that they do things on their own terms. Whether your cat is social and wants constant cuddles, or prefers to observe from afar, I’m comfortable and experienced with it all. My veterinary hospital background also provided me experience with all ages, from tiny newborns to wise seniors, and even those who require special care. I take a lot of pride in getting even the shyest, most skeptical animals to warm up to me. That’s honestly one of my favorite parts of the job! About: I’ve gained experience the last few years in taking care of our German Shepherd, Luna and sweet kitty, Cookie! I always dog sit for friends when they’re out of town and I’ve learned how to give pills to dogs. One of my friend’s dogs has allergy problems and has to take pills for it, so she had to teach me how to do that. I love playing fetch and taking dogs on walks! I also wouldn’t mind giving your dog a bath (or taking him/her to the pet store to bathe them there!). Feel free to message me with any questions you might have! “Can't give enough compliments to Tara and her family! I have been traveling a lot with my dog and ran into dilemmas when I couldn't bring him certain places with me. Knowing he would be an anxious mess staying in an unfamiliar setting, I looked for nearby sitters and was amazed at Tara's quick response on such short notice. Her neighborhood is perfect for dog walking and her home is clean, safe, and comfortable. Her children are so respectful and were wonderful helpers during Crusoe's stay. About: I have had to take care of puppies since I was 9 years old and throughout out my teenager years until adulthood. I cared for the most sensitive dogs including English bull dogs, Boxers and Doberman Pinchers. I also rescued stray dogs . I have also nourished my sick dog back to health when doctor had no diagnosis. He was given a death sentence but I cured him. I am well versed in the expected health of dogs and I have resuscitated a few puppies who were near death . I am flexible because I work remotely part time . If your dog is well trained, they would be free to roam, sleep on the couch, etc. My neighborhood is perfect for long walks and I usually take my pups on about a mile long walk every day.

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals, and nothing makes me happier! I work with horses professionally, and have also raised, fostered, and trained puppies and kittens. We love big dogs, small dogs, many dogs, any dog! I’ve taken dogs on roadtrips across the country, on horseback rides, on boats and kayaks, and countless adventures! My partner and I suddenly find ourselves without a dog of our own, so we would love to welcome yours into our home. We have a safe, comfortable, child-free, single story house with a doggie door onto a screened in porch and a fenced in yard. We live on a cul-de-sac with awesome neighbors and several wonderful pups, so if your dog is social they can make many friends! And if they’re not, our backyard is fenced and private. We’re more than happy to have them on our couches and beds (as long as that’s allowed at home) and we also have a crate if that’s where they feel safe! We are comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, or anything in between, and I have basic veterinary skills that allow me to administer oral medications as well as intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as needed. My partner works from home, and I am currently between seasonal jobs, so our lives are well suited to revolve around pets! We have a doggie door that leads to our fenced in yard, so dogs can take themselves out as they like, and cats can access the screened in porch. I also love taking walks through our neighborhood, which has safe streets as well as wooded trails and access to several creeks if anyone wants to swim! The cul-de-sac is also perfect for throwing a ball or frisbee, if your dog is into that kind of thing. We spend most evenings at home snuggled up on the couch, which has plenty of room for four legged guests (: Our home is safe and child-free, and (unfortunately) does not currently have any resident pets. We live on a cul-de-sac set far back in our neighborhood and have access to several wooded trails and marsh creeks. We have a dog door that leads to a screened in porch and a fenced in yard, which we have trained dozens of dogs to use over the years. I love taking walks, playing, and curling up on the floor or sofa for snuggles. I am also well trained in the art of giving mindless and continuous scratches. I’ve worked with many types of animals with all kinds of preferences, and I’m always happy to meet them where they’re at!

We also frequent the county parks!
About: I spent several years working at a veterinary hospital and for a professional pet sitting company, so I’ve cared for just about every animal you can think of: dogs, cats, turtles, fish, goats, horses, you name it! I’m comfortable with all ages, from tiny newborns to wise seniors, and even those who require special care. I take a lot of pride in getting even the shyest, most skeptical animals to warm up to me. About: I grew up with 2 dogs in the house and got my fur baby 11 years ago. I’ve been taking care of my own and helping other for over 10 years.
