“Can not say enough good things about Justine and Roman. We reached out on very short notice due to an unexpected family situation, and they stepped in without hesitation. That alone meant a lot, but they went well beyond just accommodating us. In the rush of everything, we forgot River’s food and also realized he really needed a bath. They handled both without any issue, letting us arrange food for his stay and even adding grooming while we were on the way to drop him off. That level of flexibility and calm support made a stressful situation much easier. Throughout River’s stay, they were great communicators. We received regular updates, which gave us real peace of mind. When our situation required us to extend his stay a few extra days, they were again incredibly understanding and easy to work with. The biggest sign of how well they cared for him was River himself. He clearly had a great time, made some friends, and honestly seemed a little disappointed to leave. He pouted most of the way home, which says everything. We truly appreciate Justine and Roman and would not hesitate for a second to trust them with River again. Highly recommend!”

About: I had multiple dogs all of my life and have taken care of horses and barn cats. Love all animals and want to make sure that they are doing amazing while you are away. I have pet sitted on and off over the years for friends and even flew to Las Vegas to petsit for an extended weekend. I’m currently working full time but can do late night drop ins, walks and am available any time on the weekends. Typically on the weekends I am free/flexible for any time, except the few times I’m out of town. Before letting pets out in fenced areas I double check gates are closed and latched before letting out. For any pets that are walked I ensure that they are leashed before heading out the door and do not take the leash off until inside with the door closed. I have an escape artist of myself at home so I know what to look for. I can easily place your pet in a crate before leaving if that is necessary.

About: Hey there!! I've been around pets my whole life and absolutely LOVE them. We had a dog (dachshund) growing up as well as other animals like Rabbits and Guinea Pigs! I've had cats and dogs throughout my life as well. My bestie dog was named Sadie (corgi/husky mix) who was 17 when I had to let her go to the rainbow bridge March 2021...it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do 💔 I had her since she was about 1 yr old. She had a pacemaker put in about 2 yrs prior to passing and had a great life but I miss her like crazy. I've been Petsitting a long time but since Sadie passed, it's really helped heal my heart and has truly been a blessing. Most of my clients are from word of mouth over the years but I have this to help others get in touch with me if they need some help! I live in Lake Toxaway but I have jobs anywhere from Highlands, Cashiers, Sapphire, Lake Toxaway to Brevard. I mostly stay at my client's homes but I do bring some dogs to my house if it ends up being a better option. I've done puppy care and senior care as well so that doesn't phase me. I also can do medication or treatments needed. If I'm booked up for in home pet care then I can do drop ins 2x a day for cats 🐱 I can possibly offer that for dogs too but they usually need it 3x a day. So that would all depend on my availability. I work part time caretaking properties/cleaning, and childcare so I'm mostly home! When I do need to leave I'm not gone more then 3-6 hrs, depending on the job. I can travel further if I can move jobs around in my area. I'm very flexible and try to make things work if I can! She was the most loving and caring dog I ever met but lost her to a serious illness and I just love to give out my heart to animals and would love to spend some time with your animals. About: I treat your dog as I would want my own dog to be treated. The Golden Rule doesn't just apply to humans. My dog is a Canine Good Citizen so I am good at training puppies. My parents had senior dogs with seizures and diabetes so I am good at giving shots. I'm retired so I have a lot of time on my hands to stay with your pets. I am very flexible as to when I can come to your house. I will treat your pet with the same love and devotion that I give to my own pets. About: I began working at Radnor Veterinary Hospital as a Boarding Attendant, where I cared for a variety of animals, primarily dogs, and was responsible for feeding, walking, medicating, and monitoring their daily needs. I then worked as a Veterinary Assistant at the Exotic and Small Animal Hospital of PA, where I gained extensive hands-on experience with both small animals and exotic pets. I assisted with appointments, treatments, medications, laboratory work, and monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures. This experience taught me how to recognize changes in an animal’s behavior and health, safely handle animals, and provide attentive care for pets with different needs. I am currently a pre-veterinary student at Clemson University pursuing my passion for becoming a veterinarian. I especially enjoy caring for rabbits and dogs, but honestly just love being around animals. I have classes regularly; however, in the afternoon and later evenings, I am usually free almost every day! I try to be really flexible; however, school does create some constraints. I make sure to locate the nearest vet in case of an emergency, keep a close eye on your pet during the whole time, and record if I see anything unusual.

About: Since a little girl, there has always been dogs inside or outside of the house. As of right now, I have six dogs all different sizes, ages, and personalities. Therefore, I am very comfortable handling anything from energetic puppies to senior pups who need a gentler space. About: My whole life has revolved around my passion and love for animals. From volunteering at my local animal shelter, working at luxury pet resorts to working on a Farm I have had experience with animals of all sizes. “Can not say enough good things about Justine and Roman. We reached out on very short notice due to an unexpected family situation, and they stepped in without hesitation. That alone meant a lot, but they went well beyond just accommodating us. In the rush of everything, we forgot River’s food and also realized he really needed a bath. They handled both without any issue, letting us arrange food for his stay and even adding grooming while we were on the way to drop him off. That level of flexibility and calm support made a stressful situation much easier. Throughout River’s stay, they were great communicators. We received regular updates, which gave us real peace of mind. When our situation required us to extend his stay a few extra days, they were again incredibly understanding and easy to work with. The biggest sign of how well they cared for him was River himself. He clearly had a great time, made some friends, and honestly seemed a little disappointed to leave. He pouted most of the way home, which says everything. We truly appreciate Justine and Roman and would not hesitate for a second to trust them with River again. Highly recommend!”

About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.

About: Our names are Nina Phillips and Erin Carns, we live together in Clemson and both attend as third years! As two college students, we both are missing the company of and caring for our furry friends back home. Nina has experience with dogs of all sizes, but has cared for large dogs like Cane Corsos up to 160 pounds. Erin has volunteered in shelters since she was young, and has lots of experience caring for small dogs like yorkies! We can’t wait to meet your furbabies and care for them like they’re our own! While we are both full time students, our schedules do not have much overlap, meaning Erin is generally home in the morning, and Nina is usually home in the afternoon and night. This applies to both pet sitting and availability to walk or let out animals in your home! In our experience caring for animals, we have found that the best way to facilitate a calm, safe environment and avoid stressing the animal is to do our absolute best to care for the animal exactly as the owner would.
