Poor Delia was also incredible when my older pup lost a tooth, she alerted me immediately, brought her to my vet, followed up with them ensuring they triple checked to make sure she was alright, and then was there for my pet for everything she needed, all while communicating with me. She gave my dog the love and care that we all would hope for our pets when we are not there. After a tough travel morning, Delia was flexible when we got home earlier than expected and even brought our girl home. About: I have spent my life loving and caring for animals of all sizes and types; dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and even some fish. I grew up with animals and have carried on the tradition of raising my own children amongst their "furry siblings". Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to help feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets over the years. I have a patient and loving home where are pets are a part of the family and that includes "guest pets" during their stay. I strive to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are with us. We have two dogs in the house, a terrier mix (10 pounds) and a cocker (30 pounds). I am a therapist and I'm typically in and out of the house most days from 8-5, coming home often for an hour or two at a time. My husband comes home most days for lunch. Additionally, I have two teenage children that are home most of the day during the summer or at least one of them is typically home at any given time cuddling with the dogs on the couch or in their rooms. We typically take the dogs for their walk after work each day. I have a fenced yard with room to run around. The fence gaps are small enough o keep our 10 lb terrier from escaping and is 5' high. We also have a doggie door to allow our dogs and our guests access to yard time and potty breaks throughout the day. Our dogs are family so they do sleep with us and are allowed on the couch. We have a walking path behind our house and through the neighborhood that allows us to take walks, typically in the evening. Our dogs are well socialized and have been exposed to having other dogs stay with us and staying with other dogs outside the home. They are playful and friendly. We have never had any incident with them in the 10 years we've had our terrier and 3 years we've had out spaniel. We tend to walk the dogs after work every day and feed them once in the morning and once in the evening. The house is dog friendly with nothing they can hurt themselves on.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. Whether it be my own or my neighbors. I love to take walks and I treat all dogs with love as if they were my own. I’m currently available for the summer due to the fact that I’m home from college! I can walk anytime of the day and I’ll update my availability frequently in case anything comes up:) When walking dogs I think it’s important to always have poop bags on hand out of respect for neighbors and such. About: Update: Back at it in September 2026 after a couple years learning to become a vet tech! Now 2 years experience in 2 different clinics (Foxbank and Cainhoy) plus working with a dog trainer/boarder/day camp host (Pete’s Pack Walks). Between the 2 I’ve learned a ton about dog health and behavior. With 20+ years of total experience, I have seen and done it all when it comes to dog sitting. My specialty is anxious/aggressive dogs, but I also have experience with puppies from 24 hour care post-birth to training, kennel dogs (show dogs in need of socialization & volunteer work), senior dogs, and medical issues. Since relocating from Boston, I completed all the dog handling trainings via the Charleston Animal Society and am in the process of becoming first aid/emergency certified for dogs :) I live in an apartment with my service dog: she gets along with all dogs and has been used by my friends to help train their dogs. If your dog likes dogs I’m happy to bring her, if not it is no problem. My routine is 90% pet care between caring for my own and helping friends watch theirs, studying to be a Veterinary Technician, volunteering at the Charleston Animal Society, and helping consult my friend’s dog training/camp business which has 20+ dogs in attendance for morning camp I help with - I’ve learned a lot about dog behavior. I ALWAYS prioritize and give my full attention to any dog in my care. I have a ton of space for dogs to play and the sweetest dog ever if your dog prefers company, or she can stay home/with a neighbor if your dog doesn’t like others. I live by my mother’s mantra to always leave a home cleaner than I found it :) I never lose sight of the dogs in my care to ensure they do not get into anything unsafe and have been trained in dog handling/training.

If your fur baby comes to my home I have a fenced in yard, extra dog treats and toys as well as a dog bed that gets washed after every furbaby that visits. I will stick to any routine that you have for your dog *Please Note*I do not have a crate and one will need to be provided if pet is crate trained*. *Please Note* If you have a cat their litter box as well as litter will need to be provided if needed.* If I am taking care of your furbaby in your home I will follow the schedule you have them on.
About: I’m very cautious with all of the fur babies and making sure they are safe and very happy with me. I’m a very lovable person. I’m available anytime! I can get busy but that’s ok because I’m willing to make you happy and your fur babies. I love being around animals. I make sure your pets are fed properly and that they are happy and I will definitely make sure that they don’t get into trouble with anything.

About: I'm working on having my own animal day care in the future. I've always had pets growing up but no professional experience. I took a cpr, first aid and safety course so I'm confident in preventing and handling accidents. Animals have a special kind of love because the give genuine love. It's like a babys love. They can't talk but always by your side, depend on you and love you like no other. Who wouldn't enjoy working working with them ! I'm very patient, loving and observant with animals. I believe after a while they just get comfortable with me because I'm not scared and I have the confidence that I'm a animal whisper lol. Poor Delia was also incredible when my older pup lost a tooth, she alerted me immediately, brought her to my vet, followed up with them ensuring they triple checked to make sure she was alright, and then was there for my pet for everything she needed, all while communicating with me. She gave my dog the love and care that we all would hope for our pets when we are not there. After a tough travel morning, Delia was flexible when we got home earlier than expected and even brought our girl home. I appreciate the level of care and look forward to booking with her again soon!”

About: I have spent my life loving and caring for animals of all sizes and types; dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and even some fish. I grew up with animals and have carried on the tradition of raising my own children amongst their "furry siblings". Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to help feed, walk, play with, and care for their pets over the years. I have a patient and loving home where are pets are a part of the family and that includes "guest pets" during their stay. I strive to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are with us. We have two dogs in the house, a terrier mix (10 pounds) and a cocker (30 pounds). I am a therapist and I'm typically in and out of the house most days from 8-5, coming home often for an hour or two at a time. My husband comes home most days for lunch. Additionally, I have two teenage children that are home most of the day during the summer or at least one of them is typically home at any given time cuddling with the dogs on the couch or in their rooms. We typically take the dogs for their walk after work each day. I have a fenced yard with room to run around. The fence gaps are small enough o keep our 10 lb terrier from escaping and is 5' high. We also have a doggie door to allow our dogs and our guests access to yard time and potty breaks throughout the day. Our dogs are family so they do sleep with us and are allowed on the couch. We have a walking path behind our house and through the neighborhood that allows us to take walks, typically in the evening. Our dogs are well socialized and have been exposed to having other dogs stay with us and staying with other dogs outside the home. They are playful and friendly. We have never had any incident with them in the 10 years we've had our terrier and 3 years we've had out spaniel. We tend to walk the dogs after work every day and feed them once in the morning and once in the evening. The house is dog friendly with nothing they can hurt themselves on.

Paul took him on long walks and sent really nice photos at the end of the day, he also had a dog cam and you can see your dog. Lastly Paul helped us out of a bind agreeing to watch Paddington on short notice as we had an unexpected trip. Highly recommend!”
