About: I worked with dogs literally my whole life. I've grown up with no less then 3 dogs in the home. Dogs and all other animals are family. I believe in tender love and care is how to treat any kinda animal. I'm fairly active on rover. Dogs help me with dealing with this issues I've felt with since I was a teenager. I'm willing to take orders from the owners for their dogs. I don't mind cleaning up after a dog. I'm willing to give the dogs a bath if needed. I don't mind feeding. I'm hoping to one day become a vet tech as I love to help every animal I can. Furbabys are the best. “Shana was very accomodating, taking a last minute request for dog sitting after our normal sitter cancelled. We are yearly sponsors of the Scottish Games at Furman, which is an all day event from 8:30 to 7:30, the Saturday before Memorial Day. I sent requests to four sitters on Rover that morning that were close to our house in Taylors. Two responded they were booked, even though their profiles confirmed availability, and two never responded. It then occurred to me that it would be easier to find a sitter closer to Furman for faster p/u after the event. I messaged Shana at 8:28 am and at 8:30 she replied “Hi there! You can drop him off now if you like.“ Her responsiveness was incredible, and greatly appreciated. Her tiny home community was so cute and inviting, and her location made for a quick and easy drop off and pick up. Our Dachshund, Bandit, obviously found her home (and her lap) very comfortable, as we received several photos of him relaxing on her lap in front of the wood burning stove. He seemed to get along well with her Lhasa Apso, Wally, who was about the same size as Bandit, as we received several photos of them taking walks and napping together on the sofa. I can say without a doubt that we will hire Shana every year for the Scottish Games at Furman, if she is still dog sitting and available (fingers crossed!).”

About: I have a lot of experience fostering and rehabilitating dogs who have had trauma, helping them come out of their shell and trusting humans again is my strength. I am available for walks in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I am also flexible, able to stay in your home, and open to some overnight stays. I have a cozy, air conditioned home with my senior beagle to keep your pup company. Will always have fresh water and treats available. I also have a crate if needed. We wanted our dog to have the chance to play with another dog if possible, so she arranged for our pup to meet her dog prior to the stay. Hannah and Conan (her dog) were both awesome. About: I have had pets in my home since I was a child. I had a senior dog I took care of for six years. I am very comfortable with dogs at all stages or any handicaps. I am home throughout the day and all evening with a flexible schedule. My home is relaxing with plenty of space. The fenced in yard is big and a pile of perfect sticks are waiting to be played with. The neighborhood is away from main roads and safe. I do have cameras in the home to keep an eye on things if I run errands. I have a fenced in large yard for safety if your furry friend stays here. I also have a private inside area if they need some downtime. I only have a couple steps into the home. If I visit them then all rules are strictly adhered too. I provide a lot of love and care, making sure they are calm, happy and safe. I tend to care for 4-6 dogs at a time. Many are high energy so your dog should be comfy with that environment. Lazy, sleepy dogs do well with it. I love to have Meet&Greets. I want you to feel comfortable with my space. If it turns out you are not on board 100%, I understand and have no hard feelings. The safety and happiness of your pet is everyone’s focus. Taking care of pets is my full time job so I am home based. I have a couple day care dogs during the work week and spend most of my day with them. I will follow through with your training and rules. Pets are spoiled with attention. I have a box of toys and treats for them. I will provide photos and videos plus regular updates.
About: I have found that dogs prefer to be in their own envirement when their owner's are away, so most of my jobs are from repeat clients and referrals for in home stays. Your pet stays in their own environment which is less stressful. As requested by you, we go on walks, mini hikes, car rides, sleep in bed with them, just lounge and watch TV, administer special diets or medicines, drop off at another relative, etc. I am flexible. Your house stays safe with someone home, mail and newspapers picked up, etc. One client always has contractors over for their large remodel. I first became a dog sitter for my 2 grandpups, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels a boy and a girl. My daughter may be the most demaning, pickiest, list of rules person in the world. Her dogs are her children and I know yours are too. So please if you feel bad about leaving them, if you have a weird request I will understand. Since I am semi-retired I have more flexibility as well. I have had dogs who needed me to sit on the floor with them while they eat, want to sleep in same bed as me, constantly want to sit on my lap or next to me. Outside of that time, I’m fully available and committed to giving pets the attention and care they need, whether it’s early morning, midday, or evening. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment that meets each animal’s unique needs. At home, I share my space with my friendly dog Luna and six lizards, so I’m well-versed in caring for both furry and exotic pets. I maintain clean enclosures, monitor temperatures and humidity levels for reptiles, and ensure all pets have the right diet, enrichment, and daily interaction. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, walking, playing, administering any medications, and offering plenty of love and attention. I also provide regular updates to keep pet parents at ease while they're away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and loved—no matter where they are.

About: My parents owned a kennel growing up, so I have always have been comfortable working and taking care of a variety of animals. When I got older, I would petsit for friends, family members and neighbors. I have also volunteered with my local Humane Society since I was 13. I'm currently attending Furman University and my schedule is very open during the week and weekends. Because pet care has always been a part of my daily schedule, I will always ensure that your pet is receiving the best possible care. About: We’ve always owned and loved dogs and animals of all shapes & sizes- ours are a part of our family and we will treat yours the same way. Our children will play & pet your pup and help me make sure they get lots of exercise while visiting on our 5 acre hobby farm. We are located in Greenville & are very conveniently located for drop off & pick up. I work very part-time from home as a writer. I choose my hours, and my children are also home five days a week. My husband has an office on our property, so someone is always around for company for the dogs. We have a few grassy fields for running around and playing fetch and a friendly Labrador to join the fun. We also have three barn stalls on the property right across from our house if they prefer to sleep outside, or I can also crate them or put out a dog pillow if they would rather sleep inside with us.
About: I've had a pet of some sort my entire life whether it was dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, hamsters or snakes! I love caring for animals of any kind. I currently have 3 fur babies, 2 dogs and a cat, and 9 featherrd ones, chickens! Sharing my love for pets by helping out while folks are away doesn't feel like a job to me but more of a fun opportunity to do something I love. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I can take breaks for drop-ins and walks when it's convenient and if your fur baby is at my home I have a fenced back yard they can roam in anytime of day. I have a fenced space in the back yard with plenty of room for fetch and two friendly pooches to keep yours company! My husband and I work opposite shifts so someone is always home to give the fur babies love!

About: Hello! My name is Alex and I have had a dog (or two) my entire life. Right now, Hank is my main man. He's a boxer mix I rescued in Albuquerque, NM in 2022. We think he's 5 or 6, so let's go with 5! I love all animals and I love being active so your pet is sure to have the best walk and/or playtime hanging with me. I'm a very reliable, attentive, and trustworthy person and pet owner and I promise to make your life (and your pet's) all the easier by taking the stress out of being away from home. I currently work from home so I can give your pet all the time and attention they deserve. I promise your pet will return safe, happy, and ready to play with me again :) I am available every day of the week, with the majority of my time spent at home and around my neighborhood. I drop my children off in the mornings to either camp or school, and do pick up in the afternoons. As long as I can work around those pick ups and drop offs, I'm available! I have a fully fenced yard and a large, pet-friendly house (non-smoking). I have a neutered boxer mix named Hank who we rescued back in 2022 in Albuquerque, NM. Hank is very friendly, energetic, and curious and always enjoys playing with a new friend.
