“My boyfriend and I went to myrtle beach for a little weekend get away before we started up college again. We decided to take our dog, haezel with us, because she’d never been on a trio or saw the beach before. Sunday was our last day to finish up our plans before we had to leave, so we looked for a sitter. I searched and searched and searched for hours, until we ran into this sweet lady. We had been looking for a sitter since 9am, at this point it was 2pm and Ms.Debra was the most amazing life saver. She met us at a half way point and she was able to keep haezel for the rest of the day. About: I have been a Yorkie, schnauzer or spaniel owner for years and just love the little furry family members. Currently Maggie May (my sweet rescue) and I love the opportunity to walk, keep and cuddle your "family member". I even make dog biscuits for the cutie pies if their owners give the okay. About: Growing up in the animal rescue and care world, I’ve looked after everything from horses to mice. Over the years, I’ve fostered, reconditioned, and rehomed abused and abandoned animals, helping them learn to trust again. I’m experienced in animal behavior across life stages, including neonatal and senior pets. My goal is to provide every animal I meet with as much love, guidance, and attentive care as they deserve. I live on a small homestead with my husband, a stay-at-home dad and disabled veteran, and our four children. I’m a self-employed Realtor and the owner of LABZ Pet and Farm Sitting LLC, so I have the flexibility to build my schedule around my clients’ needs. I’m currently attending Unity Environmental University, working toward my Bachelor of Science in Companion Animal Behavior. My program is fully online, which means I can bring my laptop with me and easily keep up with coursework during overnight stays or extended sits. I strictly follow the guidelines and routines you provide, because you know your pets best. When no specific instructions are given, I use a thoughtful, age-appropriate schedule for dogs and cats at different life stages. In general, I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and engaged: walking and playtime, refilling food and water according to your specifications, cleaning up any messes, and providing baths when needed. I can also pick up pet supplies or groceries upon request, so you come home to happy pets and a stress-free environment.
