“Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

About: I’ve been around all types/sizes of dogs! I truly love taking care of animals and always prioritize their safety, care, and needs first! I provide a stress free, calm, environment with low noise and a great fenced in backyard to play in! I have taken care of many of my friends/neighbors pets and also grew up with two dogs of my own so I know all the responsibility it takes! I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter for the past few years where I had to pass a test specifically on caring for dogs and reading their body language! About: I have 6 dogs of my own. I'm not allowed to rescue anymore so this is the next best thing! I am 29 and I love doggos!. Every other week our home is filled with 5 kids. Its like a zoo over here, you might as well let your dog join the party! We have a fenced in backyard, unlimited access to a water bowl, a pool if your dog likes to swim, its fenced in if not so no worries about those who can't swim. I have a love for dogs and they especially keep me busy when the house isnt filled with kids. All our dogs are spayed and neutered so no worries about any accidents. I drive a very large yukon with fold down seats so traveling wont be a problem. I am located about 2 miles from the local vet in case of emergencies and the pet store is right down the road in case you would like your doggo to come back with any extras or you need me to pick up food. I am home all day with the exception early mornings and errands or grocery shopping, etc. so most of my time will be spent with your dog so they can feel comfortable and safe. I have plenty of crates if needed for sleep time. I have a fenced in back yard with toys to play. I make sure to take the pups for walks and that they get plenty of exercise while they are here.

About: Im staying in South Carolina more now, so I’m back to being available. I mostly stay home building a homestead, so I have some spare time. Prior Air Force medic, for 5 years, and would house, dog, and babysit for fellow members and leadership. Also, was a veterinary assistant for 1.5 years. I own three big dogs, an kitten and a tortoise, but have had the responsibility of caretaking for pets since I was young. I can schedule pretty much at any time and am willing to work longer hours, if it is needed. I am very flexible. I prefer not to drive over 40 minutes to a location for drop ins and walks, but can if you are unable to find another sitter closer to your location. I do not allow others pets in my own home due to two of my rescue dogs taking a long time to be comfortable around other dogs. I pay very close attention to the slightest changes in a pets mood and can be very reactive in an emergency situation, if it occurs. I carefully manage each guest to ensure every dog receives plenty of attention, exercise, and a safe, enjoyable experience. Additional Care & Scheduling To keep things fair and transparent, additional charges may apply when a stay requires significantly more time, supervision, or specialized care than standard boarding. 🐾 Medication administration: $5/day for routine oral or topical medications. More involved medication administration, including injections or medications requiring significant additional time, may be subject to a higher fee. 🐾 Intact dogs: A $5/day surcharge may apply to unspayed or unneutered dogs due to the additional supervision and management required in a multi-dog home. 🐾 Early/late pickup or drop-off: A $15 fee may apply when arrival or departure falls outside the agreed-upon scheduling window. 🐾 Last-minute bookings: Bookings requested within 24 hours of drop-off are subject to a $20 last-minute booking fee. 🐾 Daycare over 8 hours: Daycare stays exceeding 8 hours are subject to the regular overnight boarding rate. 🐾 Pickup/drop-off transportation: Transportation may be available by arrangement for an additional fee. I’ll always communicate any applicable additional charges with you before modifying a booking whenever possible. My goal is to keep everything transparent while making sure every dog receives the time and attention they deserve. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I can provide care before and after work and come home at lunch for walks or check-ins. I dedicate my weekends entirely to being at home with pets. I prioritize safety by ensuring a pet-proof environment in my home and following all instructions provided by owners. About: I’ve had animals my entire life, giving me 33 years of hands-on experience with both dogs and cats. I recently worked in the pet care industry, which gave me even more insight into providing safe, reliable, and loving care. I personally own a German Shepherd that I trained myself, so I’m confident in handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. About: i have had four years experience working with dogs, including boarding and daycare services, as well as Rescue. this does include dogs who need medicine or special care as well. i deal with many different breeds, and sizes of dogs every day. I have 5 pups i call my own who love adventures and learning new tricks and i’ve owned cats growing up. i am not afraid to get a little fur on my clothes or even a little dirt, because what’s a pet without a little fur? I also do not mind simple grooming as i love trimming my pups nails and fur when they need it, but i am in no way a professional. i do have a young child so dogs must be okay with them. I am off atleast 2-3 days during the week. I have lunch break and some days I work night shift, My availability depends on my schedule but i typically have a few hours midday and afternoon to spare. I have 3 acres of fenced yard and plenty of toys to keep your pup safe and having fun. We do have big pens set up in case dogs need to be seperated or need a break.
About: I have always had a dog in my house hold! i currently have a 3 year old golden doodle and typically always have some sort of dashound!! I am usually a busy girl but will always make time in the day to help out where ever i am needed! Typically i am available at early mornings/afternoon! About: I’ve taken care all of sorts of animals since I was 12 years old! I live on a farm with many animals so I have experience with almost any situation. I started dog sitting and cat sitting around the same time. My neighbors, friends, and family trust me to walk, feed, play, and care for their furry humans because I treat them like they are my own! About: Growing up I've always loved animals. I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember between watching neighbors/friends pets to having a couple of my own. I have a pretty open availability especially during the weekends. If anything just let me know and I’m willing to try my best to work around your fur babies schedule. I will always treat your fur baby like my own! If it’s nice outside we can spend the day out at the dog park or just going for a good long walk. “Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. He suggested a meet and greet before we committed to the appointment; we accepted and got a great vibe from the start. Our dog is older and has some personality quirks and a little separation anxiety. Michael and his wife were able to easily deal with her and show her a good time, keeping us updated daily with pics and texts. They accommodated Birdie's preferred sleeping arrangements and gave her plenty of opportunity to socialize with people and other dogs in a low stress environment, which was a huge reason we didn't want to send her to a typical kennel/pet spa. Additionally, Birdie had some minor stomach issues while we were out of town and they kept us informed and updated and gave us a reliable opinion on if/when she should be taken to a vet. They watched Birdie for a week and we got her back happy and healthy, and we wouldn't hesitate to send her to them again in the future.”

About: I’ve been around all types/sizes of dogs! I truly love taking care of animals and always prioritize their safety, care, and needs first! I provide a stress free, calm, environment with low noise and a great fenced in backyard to play in! I have taken care of many of my friends/neighbors pets and also grew up with two dogs of my own so I know all the responsibility it takes! I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter for the past few years where I had to pass a test specifically on caring for dogs and reading their body language! I’m currently in school and working part-time, but in my free time I’d love to spend time caring for your pets! My schedule is also flexible enough that I can do weekly visits as I am very reliable and dependable. I’m dedicated to making your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible! I’ll always keep them on a leash and be super mindful of my surroundings, double-checking to make sure all doors are closed and their harnesses are securely fastened.
