“Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. About: I love all animals, especially dogs. I grew up in a home where in addition to the 2-3 dogs of our own, we fostered up to 3 other dogs. I've cared for dogs with medical needs, dogs that are aggressive, and dogs of all sizes. I have had my own dog, Stranger, a mix of a few breeds, who was too smart for his own good, which increased my creativity with how we played or tested his intelligence. I love running, playing fetch, or simply sun bathing with dogs so that they get excercise and enjoy outside for a while. I have also taken care of cats, reptiles, and enjoy any animal interaction! I just moved to Aiken, SC and am working part time while going to school. I currently work retail, changing hours weekly. But I try to update my calendar two weeks out per how I am scheduled at work. I can easily adapt to any and all rules of the house. I had my dog crate trained, but he also slept on the bed. I spend a lot of time with the animal outside, if possible. I will do whatever is needed to make the animal more comfortable. My dog Stranger used to have separation anxiety so he had a safe space when we were out. He LOVED snow but had such tiny feet that we had to put booties on his feet to go play in snow or go hiking in cold weather. My friend's dog couldn't climb stairs but wanted to be where I was, so I carried him up and down so he felt safe. Whatever is needed, I can help.

About: I’m experienced, not only with cats and dogs, but also with many different types of farm animals. I’ve raised dogs, cats, horses, goats, pigs, cattle, and have had hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, chickens, and ducks. I have grown up with many different breeds of dogs and cats raising them up from puppies/kittens till they were seniors. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I was a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a small farm with two dogs that guard the sheep, one cat, two sheep and chickens. I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types. We have large fenced in back yard, in addition 5 acres to take the dogs on leashed walks. We never leave the dogs outside alone and the cats we watch remain inside unless they are leash trained. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. We usually find the dogs feel safer when they can sleep with us in our room if that is okay with you. We want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!

The dogs and I have FUN slumber parties during which I fully engage with and interact with them, playing with their toys and giving the most excellent tummy rubs imaginable! Owners are happy too as they return to a happy pet - dogs "tell" by their behavior and in over 500 pet sits, every dog has been safe, sound ... and happy! In fact, many owners say I did a great job because "my dog acted like it didn't even know I was away!" All dogs love me ... and I love them. Dogs are people, too - only better ! I am self-employed so can set my schedule, especially with as much advance notice as possible. I often bring my little 9 pound, Shih Tzu, which I keep and a carry crate and kennel that has worked out fine with both dogs and cats. We can arrange a meet and greet ahead of time to make sure everyone is comfortable. I have separate bedrooms if dogs need their own privacy, but I do try to have dogs interact and be friends. I have a long hallway to play fun games and go get it!

About: I have owned dogs for over 34 years. Our dogs have ranged from Great Pyreneese and Grey Hounds down to 5 pound chihuahuas. Our last dog (Jack the teacup Chihuahua) lived until he was 18 years old. We decided it would be fun to help others board their beloved dogs as we had the privilege of using house sitters many times over the last 34 years. I am an adjunct faculty at a nearby University and teach almost exclusively online. My schedule at home is pretty much that of a stay at home mom. My husband and I love to take long walks and have always in the past included our dogs. We have a large home (2700 square ft) with no stairs. We have a large fenced in backyard and we do have an in ground pool. I always go outside with our dogs as I do not trust hawks and owls (especially with small breeds) and not all dogs are familiar with pools. I love to share my couch with pets to get extra cuddle time in. We allow dogs in every room of our home and invite smaller dogs into bed with us. Food and water is always available (except when an owner wants a specific schedule). Most of the home is wood floors with the exception of our living room.

My busiest day will be Thursday. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs. I can put them in their cages if needed. I feed the dogs and give them a lot of time to play.
About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. I have grown up with all sizes and types of dogs and cats as well as other animals such as reptiles. Taking care of animals fills me with a sense of joy and love that you can't get anywhere else. I have a cat of my own that I take care of every single day as well as helping my partner take care of our dog and their 2 cats. I will not be bringing pets to my home, as I do not have a home adequate for pet sitting. Thank you so very much. I have my adorable loving cat that I take care of daily! I make sure he gets exercise, he has water, and his food it good to go. Weekly little box cleanings and bowl cleanings. I make sure that I take care of my pet and others pets by following the rules and guidelines that have been set forth in front of me. About: Taking care of dogs is second nature to me. I am a dog loving household and am always itching to find another 4-legged-frito-smelling doggo to love on. I have 2 dogs, a schnauzer mix and a labradoodle. They are couch potatoes, so anybody would fit in here. I would be best fit for families who wanted to go on weekend trips and leave their doggos to someone they trust! I can also offer services through the week if need be. I am an early riser and let our dogs have as much outside time as they want until I leave if I have to. I have a fenced in yard, as well as a larger front yard for running and playing. I have baby gates to separate if needed for feeding time or at night for sleeping arrangements.
About: I’ve always had a dog as a child growing up. I love animals and would love to watch your dog! I think dogs are the cutest and sweetest animals and all they need is love. I will play with your dog, feed your dog, walk your dog, make sure your dog has plenty of water, and give your dogs lots of love and attention. My family has relied on me to walk, feed, and stay with their pets while they are out of town. I am in college but I have plenty of free time and I am always available to watch your dog! I am available seven days a week. I take care of my dog by feeding him, playing with him, giving him a bath, and taking him on walks. I always make sure he has plenty of water as well. I also take him to the vet once a year for his yearly check up. Every night after he eats I give him his treats that he loves.
About: I have experience with cats and dogs of many different kinds! I have taken care of both geriatric & adolescent aged animals. As well as having experience with animals who have special needs like blindness, deafness, and giving medication. I hope to meet your babies soon! I'm currently in graduate school to become a speech language pathologist and I’m wanting to supplement my income with some sitting/walking/dropping in jobs before and after school during the week and on the weekends. I will not be able to provide sitting services for any pets inside of my home as I already have multiple animals like cats, dogs, chickens, and fish at my home.
About: I would love to take your fur babies out for walks and drop in on them to play. I have always had my own and i know how lonely it can be for them to be alone while their parents are at work. I can take them for nice long walk and even run with them if they are a little more energetic. i can always make sure they have enough food and water to get them through the day. I love to play catch and can take them to dog parks and let them get socialized with other dogs. I have my own baby they can even play together. I am so very excited to potentially work with you and your loving fur baby. I also have a very loving dog and if you are comfortable with it he really likes to play with other dogs.

“Arjun is a recently rescued large dog and we were anxious about finding a good sitter for him while we had to be away. After we met Jen, we decided to do a couple of day care type stays before we left him for almost a week. From the beginning, Arjun seemed to be at ease with Jen and her family who showered him with love and attention. He went on many long walks with them, enjoyed Jen's garden and the company of her pets Gizmo and Sparkle. Jen was constantly in touch with us, providing us photos and updates even during the one-day stays. She made him some of his favourite foods (eggs) and accomodated our requests keeping Arjun's lifestyle routines similar to what we have for him at home. Arjun seemed very happy in her care. Though he was happy to see us, we don't know if he would have missed us very much, given all the attention at Jen's. She even accomodated family & friends who visited Arjun while we were away. We are glad to have found a trustworthy friend like Jen to care for our dog while we travel. We would strongly recommend her.”
