“Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. About: I grew up with 2 dogs in the house and got my fur baby 11 years ago. I’ve been taking care of my own and helping other for over 10 years. Love being outside and letting our four legged family members get their much needed play time! Stay at home mom with a flexible schedule to help with walks/potty breaks during the day. Available most weekends to help sit and possible weekdays depending on how long of a stay is needed. I have an 11 year old Shepard mix who loves the company of another fur friend. I also have a medium size dog crate if needed.

About: Dogs have been part of our life forever, and now we share our adventures with our playful 2.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog! We’re pros at beach zoomies, exploring trails at John’s Island County Park, and playing with our friends at the dog park. Your dog(s) can have their own separate comfortable suite in our home or can mingle and play as much as they'd like with our pup, whichever you/they prefer! We have a unique living situation where we live above the bicycle shop we own so one of us will be “home” most of the days. Our schedules aren’t consistent but if we aren’t “home” running the shop, we won’t be away from home for longer than 3 hours at a time. In our home, pets are treated like family, and every day is a new adventure! The mornings always kick off with fetch in our yard. While we’re in the process of building a fence, our yard is tucked away off the road, next to a quiet driveway leading to a storage facility—plenty of space to play safely! Our dog (and yours, if you’re comfortable) then heads to work at the bicycle shop, where she’s the official greeter and mood booster, soaking up love from coworkers (furry ones and human ones) and guests. Midday breaks are all about chasing tennis balls and soaking in extra snuggles. After work, the real fun begins! We head to John’s Island County Park’s dog park or Beachwalker Park for epic sunset zoomies on the beach. Your pup will enjoy endless playtime, love, and adventure with us—it’s a tail-wagging good time every single day! Your dog(s) can join in on all the fun with the other pups and people or can be kept separate while still being comfortable, getting lots of play, and all the love they need!

About: I am a teacher who LOVES animals, especially dogs. They will be treated like my own and will be in a safe and very comfortable environment. I tend to spoil them a bit. My home is very clean, non-smoking, and your dogs will have free reign of the house as long as they are completely house trained/potty trained. If not (puppies), I love to help train them and they could either stay in a comfortable crate while I am away or at work or in an enclosed play pen if they are larger than my crate. I have 2 pugs, Bentley & Bruiser. Bruiser is 9, and Bentley is 2. Both are sweet and love other dogs. Feel free to contact me with any questions! I’m a teacher and about to be off for the summer, so my schedule is pretty flexible for drop ins or walks. I’d be willing to have one more (well-behaved, house broken, and friendly) medium or small sized dog stay in my home for overnight visits. I have a very clean, smoke-free home, where my pets have free reign of the entire house, even while I am out. If your dog is well trained, they would be free to roam, sleep on the couch, etc. My neighborhood is perfect for long walks and I usually take my pups on about a mile long walk every day.

Once I moved out of home, I immediately got a dog of my own - he has since passed of old age, but, about a year ago, I adopted a little puppy from a rescue and she is the absolute light of my life! “Our two older boys came with us to Charleston for a family vacation. Our accommodations were not pet friendly but I wanted them to be nearby as they can be anxious when alone for extended periods. Anna and her husband were great and kept us updated on our boys all week. I could tell they felt right at home. She made sure they had what they needed and her home was great for my boys and similar to what they were used to at home. She sent me frequent updates and photos throughout the week. We appreciate her loving them like her own and will definitely use her services again if in the area with the pups! I recommend her for any family who wants their pups to be safe and happy while they are vacationing- I had peace of mind the whole time we were away!”

My dog can be a bit energetic (understatement…) upon meeting new people, but Alyssa stayed super calm while my dog ran in circles around her house until she finally wore herself out. “This was Yami’s second and (unfortunately) last stay with Alita & Timothy. Yami and I were in SC temporarily on military orders and I can’t thank you both enough for the best care you have given Yami in the short time you’ve known her. I know Yami is going to miss your amazing backyard and beautiful home so much! As I am going to miss having someone so reliable and communicative of my very special pup. Alita & Timothy are such great caretakers. I can’t recommend them enough. They do well with administering medications and do well with introducing pups to each other. Yami is so thankful!”
About: I grew up with 2 dogs in the house and got my fur baby 11 years ago. I’ve been taking care of my own and helping other for over 10 years. Love being outside and letting our four legged family members get their much needed play time! Stay at home mom with a flexible schedule to help with walks/potty breaks during the day. Available most weekends to help sit and possible weekdays depending on how long of a stay is needed. I have an 11 year old Shepard mix who loves the company of another fur friend. I also have a medium size dog crate if needed.

Michelle was incredibly qualified for Rip’a “weirdness.” She sent several pictures and checked in frequently. She also had great advice for training and information I should look into to better care for Rip. If you’re looking for a very knowledgeable caregiver, look no further! Michelle is wonderful.”

“Andrew and Frank were truly the sweetest dog sitters we could have asked for. They treated my dog, Scout, like he was their own, and I never had a single worry while we were away. They sent the cutest photos and updates, and it was so clear how loved and happy he was. Scout even made a new best friend, Jax, and I can tell he misses him already! Leaving Scout over Christmas and on his birthday was so hard, but I just know Andrew and Frank gave him the best day. We can’t wait to book a playdate and will absolutely be using them again.
