About: Growing up I wanted to bring home every stray I saw and now, at the age of 27, I’m blessed to have been able to open my doors to 4 stray kittens, bringing my total to a whopping 7 cats. I suppose that may qualify me for a “crazy cat lady” title. I have experience with cats of all ages and temperaments, including behavioral issues and special needs kitties. One of my own is blind but has a big enough attitude to make up for it. About: I’ve been an animal lover since I’d first discovered them as a young child, it never mattered the type or size, I’ve always been drawn to them. I grew up in the PNW where I spent many years in 4-H, showing horses and participating in our local county fair. Last year we took the leap and moved to South Carolina with our 2 senior dogs, 4 cats, and bearded dragon, and have been loving how beautiful it is. Since our move, we have acquired 3 more cats that were picked up as strays, bringing our total to a whopping 7 cats! I truly wouldn’t have it any other way. One of senior dogs struggles with reactivity while on leash, and I make it a point to make sure he is always comfortable and safe while out. One of the kittens we took in is completely blind, amongst other things, and had required daily medication at times. She also suffers from behavioral issues which is why I’m so adamant on being patient with animals. They are learning every day, just as we are. If given the opportunity, I promise to treat your animals as I do my own, with love and grace. I’ve been blessed enough to have a very open schedule and can pretty much fit any time a pet may need into my day. Whether it be weekdays or weekends, I’m flexible and have reliable transportation. The safety and comfort of your pets are my top priority and I plan to treat them the way I treat my own. I’m very mindful of securing doors and fences to insure your babies are safe and secure where they are supposed to be.
