He suggested a meet and greet before we committed to the appointment; we accepted and got a great vibe from the start. Our dog is older and has some personality quirks and a little separation anxiety. Michael and his wife were able to easily deal with her and show her a good time, keeping us updated daily with pics and texts. They accommodated Birdie's preferred sleeping arrangements and gave her plenty of opportunity to socialize with people and other dogs in a low stress environment, which was a huge reason we didn't want to send her to a typical kennel/pet spa. Additionally, Birdie had some minor stomach issues while we were out of town and they kept us informed and updated and gave us a reliable opinion on if/when she should be taken to a vet. They watched Birdie for a week and we got her back happy and healthy, and we wouldn't hesitate to send her to them again in the future.”

Simba is blind and requires extra care, but Charmaine took excellent care of him. She allowed him to roam freely in her home, making him feel comfortable and at ease. About: All my friends know me for my love of cats. I have two of my own, and have fostered dozens of kittens and cats. My time volunteering and fostering at rescues has given me experience with all types of cats, from spicy to sweet, babies to seniors, and cats who need special care and medication. For Ft. Jackson families, I am a veteran and have base access. I'm a student and have class during the day, but am available mornings and evenings on weekdays to drop-in. On Friday-Sunday I'm available all day! I take care of all cats like my own. I give them food, fresh water, and clean their litter. I know kitties can get a little messy, and I'll make sure to clean up any food or litter. About: I'm a self-employed pet lover and dog sitter with lots of experience under my belt. I also work part time to make sure my family future is secure. While I don't have any dogs of my own, I will welcome yours with open arms and care for them as if they're mine! I live in a spacious, two story house and have ample room for your pet to play. My yard is fenced in and very secure. Since there are stairs in my house, dogs with hip or back problems may sleep downstairs. I keep a clean home. If it is a faint smell of dog pee, it’s because dogs do use the restroom on my carpet (I am a dog sitter and most dogs do so in my home, especially the “not so potty trained” ones). About: Hello. I have extensive experience with a variety of animals. As a child I rescued stray cats, dogs, and different wildlife. I've had cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, domesticated rats...literally everything. I currently have 4 rescued ducks, 2 rescued turtles, turkeys and 4 baby tortoises (inside). I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.

About: Hello y’all! I am very experienced in training dogs and caring for dogs, cats, and most other animals. I have a lot of knowledge about dog and cat health, along with other animals (reptiles, birds, horses, etc.), and different breeds. My prior amazing pittie, Bo Peep, was deaf. Thus, I know ASL commands and signs from training her myself. So, I am able to work well with other deaf/hard-of-hearing animals. I’ve been lucky enough to have and/or care for all sorts of animals throughout my entire life, especially growing up as a feral child (haha) in Florida. I always tried to bring animals home (often to my mom’s dismay), and I’ve worked with various animals (e.g. birds of all sizes, reptiles, cats and dogs especially, horses, amphibians, fish, and some other farm animals). I have no problem giving medication or following any medical-related plans. I work with pets of all ages. I look forward to meeting y’all! I am currently a therapist that works remotely from home, so I am able to be with fur babies in-between clients throughout the day to meet their needs. I am very active, so plenty of walks for pups! With dogs and cats, I try to provide them with as much mental stimulation that I can (and maybe a few treats).
About: I have had animals my whole life, never been able to live without at least 2. I love working with animals and their unique personalities. Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. I do my best to read animal body language and predict and prevent situations before they happen.

About: I grew up in a household full of animals, three dogs and three cats. I’ve experienced my fair share of pets needs for as long as I can remember. I also love to foster puppies when I get the chance, even though they can be really tricky. I raised my puppy malibu during quarantine and took care of her constantly making sure she was potty trained and getting all her puppy energy out. About: I've taken care of my shih-tzu Maltese ever since I was 8 years old she unfortunately passed away and I now have a labradoodle. Family always depended on me to care for their dogs as well. Bathing, feeding, play time, walking etc... I was and still am the go to person when anyone needs a hand to dog sit and fulfill their dogs need when away for vacation or work. I now have a fluffy labradoodle whom I adopted from CA when he was only 4 months old in 2024. I have also worked at Greenwich Animal Hospital as a veterinary assistant, assiting with blood draws, nail clippings, surgery, cleaning, X-rays, medication stocking, supply stocking, baths, obtaining specimens, sterilization of instruments, walkings, and vitals. On any kind of day, I would love to give your family member a walk/run in the neighborhood or at a nearby park/path or whichever they prefer to get some fresh year and exploration through the smells/sights. For the playful pup, I love to run around and play with them until the sun goes down. I have experienced many years with easy and difficult dogs as being a pet owner myself, finding love and care for all creatures all life from dogs all the way to my 3-year-old goldfish. “I'd recommend Michael to anyone. We were first time Rover users and a little nervous. He suggested a meet and greet before we committed to the appointment; we accepted and got a great vibe from the start. Our dog is older and has some personality quirks and a little separation anxiety. Michael and his wife were able to easily deal with her and show her a good time, keeping us updated daily with pics and texts. They accommodated Birdie's preferred sleeping arrangements and gave her plenty of opportunity to socialize with people and other dogs in a low stress environment, which was a huge reason we didn't want to send her to a typical kennel/pet spa. Additionally, Birdie had some minor stomach issues while we were out of town and they kept us informed and updated and gave us a reliable opinion on if/when she should be taken to a vet. They watched Birdie for a week and we got her back happy and healthy, and we wouldn't hesitate to send her to them again in the future.”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.
