“By the time our "meet and greet" was over, I knew that Debbie was the right caregiver for our sweet girls. And I was right! We received pictures on a daily basis as well as comments as to how each dog was doing. When I came to pick up the dogs, they were excited to see me, but they weren't racing for the door, trying to escape. Clearly, they felt comfortable during their stay. We will be calling on Debbie from now on!”

“I was very nervous of leaving my fur baby with a sitter being that she’s still a puppy and so tiny she’s in need of so much attention. Maria took Madison in and did such a great job with her that I will definitely be booking her for all my sitting needs.”

“I am so happy to have found Becky! Maggie was so happy throughout her stay and Becky took amazing care of her! I didn’t have to think twice about whether she was ok or not. She gave Maggie so many cuddles!!”

“We needed a sitter for our dog for a few hours while attending a graduation and we did not know anyone in the area. We found Aiko on Rover and everything worked out perfectly! Our dog can be nervous about going with someone new but she very quickly decided that Aiko would be a good friend. Aiko shared some pictures to let us know all was good and we were able to enjoy the graduation”

“We left our 7 month old English Cocker Spaniel, Bo, with Merrell while visiting family in town. He had never stayed with anyone else overnight so we were already a little anxious, but Merrell did a great job welcoming him in and making sure he was loved on. She kept us updated on his status and sent lots of pictures throughout his stay. It worked out well and we are already planning on booking with her again when we visit for Christmas. Highly recommend Merrell if you’re in need of a sitter in Columbia.”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

About: I’ve been around all types/sizes of dogs! I have taken care of many of my friends/neighbors pets. I have two dogs of my own and I know all the responsibility it takes! I have also volunteered at my local animal shelter for the past few years where I had to pass a test specifically on caring for dogs! I’m currently in school and working part-time, but in my free time I’d love to spend time with your pets! My schedule is also flexible enough that I can do weekly visits as I am very reliable and dependable. I will keep dogs on a leash at all times if there is not a fence. “Adia was very loving and accommodating for our nervous pup. We also really appreciated her willingness to work with us when plans changed during the trip. Will definitely use her again in the future.”

“Lexie is fantastic! She took such good care of our two dogs over Thanksgiving. The indoor and outdoor spaces she has created for the dogs are wonderful, with plenty of room for them to run around and play together. Lexie sent us one little update a day to see how well the dogs were doing and how much fun they were having. She was very thorough during the intake process to ensure the dogs' individual needs were met. We could not be happier with their care and will be back again!”

“Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Isabela was amazing with our yorki. She sent regular updates with pictures and was quick to respond whenever I reached out!! We will definitely be using her again in the future! Thank you so much for treating our dog like it was your own :)”

“Kathy took excellent care of our 2 dogs over the holiday weekend! They got lots of playtime and outside time, and they were both nice and tired by the time we picked them up! She sent a couple of pictures and a couple of updates. Just enough to let us know our dogs were doing well. One of my dogs is older with some arthritis, and she made sure he got all of his medicines and had a safe space to rest when he got tired out. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I enjoy being able to spend time with all kinds of different dogs and taking care of them when their parents are out of town. I personally have a Aussiedoodle and a mini Bernedoodle who keep me busy and happy. I believe all dogs deserve a good walk and quality time throughout the day and would be more than happy to help out with that. I currently work full time during the week but would be able to look after your pets after 3pm on Fridays and all day Saturday and Sunday. During drop ins/walks I make sure to treat your home with respect and your pet the same as if they were my own. I believe that safety and trust is the most important factor.

I have taken care of many stray dogs around my area, i’ve also dog sitted for many local people in my hometown neighborhood. I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs, routines, and even their little dislikes to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. About: Hello. I have extensive experience with a variety of animals. As a child I rescued stray cats, dogs, and different wildlife. I've had cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, domesticated rats...literally everything. I currently have 4 rescued ducks, 2 rescued turtles, turkeys and 4 baby tortoises (inside). I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.
About: After breeding for 12 years, I want to continue my love of pets with working. I have worked with multiple breeds and have trained in the past. I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time on my hands to give your babies the extra care and love they need while you’re gone. Although we don’t have a fenced yard, our backyard is large and we will do multiple walks a day, to make sure your pup is happy and gets all the exercise they need.
“Andrea did a great job with Daisy! She was able to administer her medication and paid careful attention to detail. Thank you Andrea. We will see you soon for our next doggy day care”

“Omgosh! Michelle was our hero the weekend of my nephews wedding! Newly relocated to the Charleston area, we knew no one to watch our pup while we went to Savannah for the wedding. We found Michelle in Savannah, and she was wonderful!! So sweet and loving to our 10year old poodle bichon, and he seemed to be comfortable with her and her place right away. If you're looking for the perfect dog sitter, look no further, Michelle is your gal.”

“Michael & wife (Tracy, I think) were such a pleasant surprise considering I booked last minute. So accommodating and super sweet people. Amazing with dogs, as my baby is very skiddish and slow to warm but adopted easily in their home. The second day my dog came right up to Michael, excited and tail wagging. It was a huge relief. I booked last minute after a little crisis and was so thankful to have such good people take care of my dogs. There a little out of my way but I trust them 100% with my dog. Thank you again!”

I’m a student at the University of South Carolina with a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time to care for your pets. I’d love to start by offering dog walks and drop-in visits, and I’m also happy to provide pet sitting as needed. I always do my best to work around each family’s schedule and make sure every pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have reliable transportation throughout Columbia, pay close attention to routines and instructions, and always provide a calm, caring environment. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I grew up with indoor pets and learned how to care for my little doggies and bunny rabbit as a child. Over the past several years, I have been trusted by friends, neighbors and family to care for, walk, play with, feed and clean after up their pets. I will be attending dog grooming school in the fall, but my schedule is very flexible. The dog grooming school I attend is predominantly online, therefore allowing flexibility in pet care scheduling. I am available weekdays and weekends and am happy to try and modify my schedule to meet your needs. I try to follow the family’s requests regarding their pet’s routines and needs. In attempt to keep the pet comfortable and happy, I focus on providing feedings, changing water, allowing for outside play and toileting time. I love to play with all types of pets and hope to make them feel safe and secure while their family is away. I look out for the pet’s safety and report any concerning signs of illness/injury back to the family (as needed).
About: Hi, I’m Amaya! I’ve been pet sitting for over 7 years and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I have a cat named Cheesecake, and I treat every pet in my care like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll always provide plenty of love and attention, follow your pet’s routine, and send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! I’m self-employed, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to provide pet care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight care, I’m able to accommodate most schedules and give them the time, attention, and consistency they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving environment while following your pet’s routine and care instructions closely. You can count on me to treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, while keeping you updated every step of the way.

About: I love, love, LOVE animals and will lavish TLC on your fur babies! I started taking care of my neighborhood dogs and cats when I was 10-years-old in Greenville, SC. It's stressful for pets to be boarded while their owners are away, so I try to make sure that they feel loved and secure when I take care of them. I give lots of belly scratches and am known by my doggie work neighbors as the Treat Lady. I take my pet-sitting responsibilities seriously and make your pet my priority when you entrust them in my care. I want to you to go away with a light heart, knowing that your dog or cat is in my loving hands and that I'll spoil them rotten...

“Yua is a fantastic sitter and my dog loves coming here so much that he pulls to go back during my walks with him around the neighborhood! The consistent daily updates, good communication, and photos are very appreciated.”

“Qais did a wonderful job watching our pups! He was quick to respond, took frequent videos and was attentive to the special instructions we left him. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be returning if we ever need doggie daycare again!”

“We used Chad for day care before and knew he’d do a wonderful job watching our pup for the week. Badger felt right at home and we got pictures everyday showing him having a great time. I am so comfortable leaving badger with Chad and his family and recommend him highly!!!”

I am very aware of my surroundings so making sure all doors are closed, harness is on correctly, etc.

“Thank you, Savannah! Opie had a quick overnight trip with Savannah and Chandler. Very responsive. Easy peasy and Opie is a happy camper. Appreciate the happy home with a playmate for Opie to stay at.”

“Chowder had yet another awesome stay with Caroline! And such a sweet gesture to give Chowder a bag treats to take home. She even made sure that the treats were duck protein-based, which is the protein recommended for Chowder by his vet because of his food sensitivity!”

“Kayla was so sweet and attentive to my 10 yr old shih tzu Taco. He had recently injured his leg and was awaiting a surgical consult. So, she was careful with his activity level. She also gave his seizure medication 3 times a day. He looked happy and well cared for in all the photo updates she sent me.”

“Nontombe is amazing! She’s sweet and loves on your fur baby as if it’s her own. She communicates and will keep you updated with pictures and videos while you’re away. My Mazi loves her!”

“Rachel was incredible! I almost don’t want to leave her a good review so no one else can book her and I can keep her all to myself! 😂 she is incredibly communicative & flexible. Got pictures of Maya the whole weekend with updates. Maya got lots of attention & lovin with Rachel.”

“Wonderful in every single way! They took the best care of my dog, sent me pictures of her every day, and took her on long walks and runs which she loved. Would recommend and will be booking them again!”
