“Whitney was an absolute gem to communicate with! My dog is quite shy, but she settled in perfectly with Whitney and her family! She sent a ton of pictures which put me at ease! I fully recommend booking with her!”

“We needed a sitter for our dog for a few hours while attending a graduation and we did not know anyone in the area. We found Aiko on Rover and everything worked out perfectly! Our dog can be nervous about going with someone new but she very quickly decided that Aiko would be a good friend. Aiko shared some pictures to let us know all was good and we were able to enjoy the graduation”

“Lexie was very communicative about how Molly was doing which gave me great peace of mind. I know without a doubt that Molly was well loved during her stay. Unfortunately, Molly tried to dig out of the fence and so her outside time was limited for her safety. I’m hopeful that Molly’s digging behavior will begin to lessen as she becomes more comfortable in her forever home, and I’m hopeful she can stay again in the future. Thank you, Lexie!”

“Qais is a fantastic pet sitter! Our dog Potato Chip usually goes to a boarding center so I was a bit nervous to use Rover but I’m so glad I did. Qais answered all of my questions and asked about things I didn’t think of - all to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. He was great with Potato Chip and made drop-off/pick-up super easy. And I loved getting the updates with pictures. I’ll definitely be booking with Qais again!”

“Chad was absolutely wonderful and Beatrice had the best time with him and his family. He took great care of her and sent regular updates on how she was going and how she was settling in. Definitely recommend!”

“Michelle was very pleasant and patient with my dog, who is not accustomed to people outside of our family. When we arrived, she made sure she understood all of our preferences regarding eating, sleeping, and socializing. Throughout our time away, she sent pictures and text updates on how my dog was adjusting. When we picked Max up, he was clean, calm, and doing great overall. A great experience!”

“Merrell was wonderful! She took such great care of our boy and kept us updated with lots of pictures. He had a great time with her dog too. Would absolutely book again!”

“Mrs. Becky was amazing with Callie. She accepted her on short notice and sent pictures of Callie throughout her stay which made me feel that Callie was in good hands; she definitely was!! Would definitely recommend her to anyone who has a fur baby!”

“Tony has watched my dog, Saint, twice now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he’s provided. I’m new to using Rover and I’m extremely thankful that I found Tony. So much so that I refuse to look for any other sitter. He’s been pleasant to work with, trustworthy, and always makes me feel confident that Saint is in great hands. One thing I really appreciate is the updates. Every picture Tony sends, Saint looks genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable, which gives me so much peace of mind while I’m away. It’s obvious that Saint enjoys spending time with him. I truly appreciate Tony’s flexibility as I venture out of town pretty often. Whether Saint is there with others or just as the only guest, he’s always well cared for and comes home happy. I highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Adia is one of the best sitters I’ve encountered with so far on this site. She’s very friendly and knowledgeable of caring for your fur baby. I will definitely rebook and highly recommend her for your sitter needs”

About: I have had a dog (childhood puppy at home) my whole life and she is my best friend! I have fostered multiple puppies, some who aren’t potty trained, and have experience overnight sitting. My roommates also love to have furry friends around! I am a full time graduate student with a part time job, but will be home a lot and love to get exercise walking. I also have 5 other roommates who would be happy to help out if I am busy with class. I have a front patio for quality outside time, but it is not fenced. I will be outside with your pet whenever we hang out on the patio, otherwise we will be inside.
“This is the first time we had to leave our baby and thanks to Nontombe it will not be our last. I think our baby misses her. She was super attentive and sent updates regularly. I would recommend her without hesitation! Your baby will be in great hands.”

“Fantastic environment for King as he enjoys himself and feels like home. They really take care of your pets and I will continue to use them in the future.”

“Kristin was wonderful with our 2 girls from the start. She was very responsive and thorough with our inquiries, and came to our house to meet us and our girls prior to our trip, which meant a lot to us and we really appreciated it. She took great care of Heidi and Bianca while we were out of town, and sent us feedback, pics &/or videos every day. There were no delays when we contacted her with a question or status update. We were super pleased with Kristin and the care she took with our girls, and we will definitely use her again! Thank you Kristin!”

“Perfect pet sitting - great advance communication, pre-boarding meet up to ensure compatibility, and super site photo updates during the stay. Chloe loved playing with Moxie, and we look forward to the next visit!”

“Michael was the best sitter ever for my fur baby! He came to us for a meet and greet, he also agreed to pick/ drop off which was a huge plus for our situation. Mike was very nice, friendly and understanding. I really hope we can keep Michael as our sitter for Winter, thank you so much again!!”

“Beverly did a great job! Very communicative and professional. This was my first time on Rover so I had a lot of questions and she was very forthcoming in helping to understand and in ensuring that my time away was stress free and my cats were in good hands. Great job!”

“Karina was fantastic with my cats! One of them is very shy and usually takes a very long time to open up to people but she made an exception for Karina! Big thank you and a huge recommendation to anyone else who needs their furry friends taken care of!”

“Nicole was absolutely amazing with our cat! She treated him with such care and kindness. She is reliable and leaves very informed report cards, which put me at ease while we were away for a long trip. She was so sweet to our boy and spent lots of time with him- he is scared of most people and really warmed up to her! She’s the best!”

“Kayla was awesome! I had a last-minute request over the holiday, and she was kind and prompt in her communication and sent great updates each time she visited our home. Would happily invite her back again!”

“thank you so much for taking such amazing care of my little girl!! she must have really loved your energy to be so sweet and snuggly with you, that says a lot! 💕 i appreciate you so much!!”

“Olivia was wonderful. She came to meet us before booking her, first impressions are everything and my first impression of her was she so sweet and flexible with our schedules. She was always very responsive and did a great job taking care of our cats. I’ll definitely be booking with her again in the future!!!”

“Rachel is a profesional and a genuinely caring sitter. I had no doubt that my cats were in good hands while I was gone! It's a big relief to know I don't have to worry about leaving them.”

“My now-husband and I had to go out of town to get married and this was the first time that we had to rely on someone that we weren't close with to watch our kitties. It was imperative that we found someone that would make an effort to get them to warm up to them and that's exactly what Emma did. She was very communicative, always gave our kitties treats and really made an effort with them. It paid off, because even though they were super shy at the beginning of her time with them and hiding in closets, by her last drop in, they were coming out and allowing for her to pet them. She kept us updated with lots of pictures and really put us at ease. We will be using her again in the future!! 10/10!!”

“Sydney was absolutely wonderful! I’m so glad to have found her, and my cats loved her so much! She took great care of our two boys when we were away and did great at updating us! We are already booking her for our next trip! If you have cats that need the best care, I highly recommend!”

“Jeffery was so great with my four cats! He made sure to send me updates and pictures every day while I was out of town for thanksgiving. They loved snuggling him and he took great care of my older baby who needed daily meds. Prompt and communicative and very sweet soul!”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and love playing with them and hanging with them. I understand the responsibilities needed to care for a cat and am excited to take care of them. I love playing with cats and watching them chase strings and toys and love to cuddle and pet them!

“Qais did such an awesome job taking care of my 2 kitties on short notice. His communication with us was excellent, and he sent pictures of my babies while they were in his care. I will definitely rebook with him when the need arises!”

“Our dogs, Sammy and Bentley loved Jennifer P! They had a wonderful time together on the drop in visits. She came at the requested times, took care of them, gave a report and pics after each visit. Great job! We felt confident being out of town with Jennifer caring for our dogs . thank you!!”

“Kristin is awesome! I booked check ins for Christmas day and the morning after. I'm so happy she could check on my two cats. She had mentioned to me at the meet and greet that this was her busiest Christmas week yet with a lot of bookings. I have worked in retail for a few years now and Christmas week can be so overwhelming, especially with now that I travel for family while having pets at home. I am so appreciative that she was able to show them care and attention even with one of the craziest weeks of the year. I had booked her in advance but even then I was worried and anxious about this. My job had me scheduled christmas eve, and then I was taking a midnight train to Florida that night. Plus this would be the first night that my cats were alone together without me. I'm just so happy that Kristin could check on them, they were happy and comfortable seeing her while I was gone. I am really thankful for her and she's a great sitter.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — caring for them isn’t just something I do, it’s something I love. I’ve shared my life with so many kinds of creatures over the years: dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, birds, fish, hamsters, and even a bearded dragon. Each one has taught me something about presence, trust, and unconditional love. I have a calm, confident energy that helps animals feel safe and seen. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, and those who need medication or special care. I’ve been doing this for over twenty years, and I bring both deep experience and genuine heart to every animal I meet. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and doggy daycare — everything except overnight stays in my home. Whether your pet needs a peaceful companion, an attentive caregiver, or someone who simply gets them, I’ll show up with gentleness, reliability, and real love. As a stay-at-home potter, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent, loving care. I can provide morning and afternoon visits for walks, meals, and play, as well as in-home care during longer stretches while I manage my creative work. Weekends or flexible blocks allow for longer walks, extra playtime, or special needs care. My schedule lets me meet pets’ needs while keeping a calm, attentive presence. I know what it’s like to love your pets like family — I’ve had animals in my life my whole life, and I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with them. That’s why I bring calm, confident energy and treat every pet as if they were my own. I love caring for pets right in their own home, where they feel safe and comfortable. Being in a familiar space helps them stay relaxed, happy, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m comfortable with pets of all ages — from playful puppies to seniors — and with pets who need medication or special care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, cuddles, or just quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels loved, safe, and understood. I also keep your home cared for, so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.
“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

“Our two pups were SO happy and content to have spent the day with Savannah while I was out of town, I could tell they were well cared for and wouldn't hesitate to let them stay with her again!”
“Maggie was fantastic. We needed someone to watch our dog, Teddy, for part of the day while we were visiting from out of town. Maggie was quick to respond when I initially reached out and made sure she knew everything she would need to take care of our dog for his stay. Teddy can get nervous when we leave him, but Maggie and her dog were the perfect companions for him. Teddy was in a great mood when we picked him up, and we would definitely leave him with Maggie again if we are back in the area.”

“I feel so fortunate that found Katheryn to watch Blue while I work in Columbia, South Carolina. She's so sweet with Blue, flexible and reliable, I highly rerecommend her and will use her any time I'm working in the area.”

“Eileen was a very pleasant lady and great with Daisy. We felt very comfortable leaving Daisy with her, who had a good time with her dog. The fenced backyard was great for Daisy to roam around. I would recommend Eileen to anyone who needs a reliable pet sitter.”

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life from strays to fosters to pet sitting and my own pets. I have incredibly friendly pets that will make yours feel at home and I’m excellent at potty training puppies I’ve had several of my own over the years! I work from home so I have plenty of time to hangout with your beans :) while they are with me their schedule is my schedule! I have a fenced in yard, friendly cats and dogs and about a million toys for any pet, as well as private rooms they can hang in if they prefer to be alone and a cozy guest crate for pups if you like your beans crated at night or for any reason :)
About: I’ve had a toy poodle for over 13 years. She’s up in age and sometimes I have yo assist her outside and even bringing her back up the steps from time to time. I have a younger Maltese who’s very playful and we throw the ball around every time I get home. I love giving the dogs treats and rewarding them for good behavior. I’ve taught them how to give paw on command. They have a schedule that they go buy and follows it to a T! I have my dogs on a daily schedule and let them out 3-4 times a day. My parents let them out in the morning and the second half of the morning or lye morning I let them out. Then, the afternoon comes and they go out about two to three more times. It all depends on how they feel or if they want fresh air. I don’t have a fenced yard. But, I live in a cul-de-sac and I can walk the dogs there or have them on a leash while in the front yard. I give fresh water daily to my dogs and it’s the ph water rather than faucet. They get baths every two weeks to a month.
“Nicole and Telly are AMAZING!!!! They have helped me and my dogs through an incredibly stressful transition moving across country. They treat my dogs like part of the family! My girls look forward to spending their day with them and their dog Apollo. The dogs wrestle together, bask in the sunshine, roll in the yard and go on long walks. When I pick them up they are POOPED and sleep the whole 20 min back to the Airbnb that we are currently staying in. This is so helpful for one of my dogs who has massive anxiety issues, because she’s too tired to stress about all of the changes we’re going through. Nicole, Telly and their kids truly love animals and are fabulous caregivers! I feel so fortunate to have found them!🙏🏻”

“I am very impressed with Daniel! He and Bentley got along beautifully and Max proved to be a good doggie friend. Daniel has a very calm demeanor and sweet disposition- Bentley became attached immediately since he is rather calm. Daniel took exceptional care and responded quickly to my silly check-ins during the day. I highly recommend Daniel!”

About: I love pets because they all have different personalities like us. We get to know them and who they are while they get to know us. I am a Junior at UOfSC and I work part time as a cashier. They are my main 2 priorities but I am always willing to discuss how I can fit into you and your pets schedule! I have my own toy poodle named Cody at home and we go for walks everyday. We love to take runs after I get off of school and come back for a nice lunch with some rest. While I take care of others dogs, I ensure they have clean water and food bowls, that they get fresh air, and enough time to use the bathroom. I think it’s important for dogs to be outside and active (especially if they’re as hyper as my dog), so walking, running, or even sitting outside is my favorite thing to do.

About: I've spent years working with animals through veterinary clinics and pet care, which has given me experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I'm comfortable caring for energetic puppies, senior pets, and animals that may be anxious or nervous around new people. Through my experience, I've learned how to read animal behavior and use calm, low-stress handling techniques to help pets feel safe and comfortable. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I take the time to get to know them and provide care that fits their individual needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, outdoor adventures, or simply having company, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and affection while you're away. My goal is to provide dependable care and give owners peace of mind knowing their pets are in good hands I work part-time and have a flexible schedule that varies from week to week, allowing me to accommodate pet care throughout my day. I keep my availability updated and make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to. Whether it's walks or drop-in visit, I prioritize providing reliable, consistent care and making sure each pet gets the attention and time they deserve. During walks and drop-in visits, I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. For walks, I make sure dogs get appropriate exercise, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to explore safely at their own pace. During drop-in visits, I spend quality time with each pet through play, companionship, and attention tailored to their personality and needs. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their preferences, routines, and any special instructions provided by their owner. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they're away. My goal is to make each visit a positive and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
“I could not recommend Nichole more highly! She took extra time with Penny and did all her favorite play things around the neighborhood. It included so much more than just walking around the block. And she gives the best notes. But best of all is that Penny loves her ❤️”

About: I enjoy being able to spend time with all kinds of different dogs and taking care of them when their parents are out of town. I personally have a Aussiedoodle and a mini Bernedoodle who keep me busy and happy. I believe all dogs deserve a good walk and quality time throughout the day and would be more than happy to help out with that. I currently work full time during the week but would be able to look after your pets after 3pm on Fridays and all day Saturday and Sunday. During drop ins/walks I make sure to treat your home with respect and your pet the same as if they were my own. I believe that safety and trust is the most important factor.

About: I love, love, LOVE animals and will lavish TLC on your fur babies! I started taking care of my neighborhood dogs and cats when I was 10-years-old in Greenville, SC. It's stressful for pets to be boarded while their owners are away, so I try to make sure that they feel loved and secure when I take care of them. I give lots of belly scratches and am known by my doggie work neighbors as the Treat Lady. I take my pet-sitting responsibilities seriously and make your pet my priority when you entrust them in my care. I want to you to go away with a light heart, knowing that your dog or cat is in my loving hands and that I'll spoil them rotten...

About: I have watched dogs since I was a teenager. I have a 3 year old bernedoodle named Nala that gets along with every dog! I have years of experience fostering and will love your dog like it’s my own! I work part time so I have plenty of time to take care of your dog(s)! While I am at work I have plenty of space for pups to relax in the AC I have a fenced in yard and my doodle will make your dog feel welcome! I can also walk your dog and play with them to get their energy out!
“Savannah and Chandler took great care of our dog! They were flexible with drop off and pick up times and easy to communicate with. We got lots of pictures of Kane and he looked happy and comfortable. Would highly recommend!”

“Assatta was amazing!! She kept me informed with daily texts, pictures and videos of how Joonie was doing each day. She has a dog already and it was great to see that my dog meshed well with hers. It was clear from the updates she sent each day that our dogs became “besties” instantly. I am thoroughly pleased with the care that Assatta provided for Joonie. She informed me that she would be willing to watch my dog anytime and I certainly plan on using her again in the future. It was clear that Joonie had the time of his life in Assatta’s care, he came home and instantly went to sleep because he was worn out from having so much fun. Thank you so much Assatta for treating him like your own! ☺️”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have experience caring for family pets on a daily basis. Through feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and companionship, I’ve learned how to understand dogs’ needs and make them feel comfortable and safe. While I’m new to Rover, I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends dogs on multiple occasions. I’m responsible, attentive, and committed to treating every pet with the same care and patience I give my own dogs. I’m currently a college student with a part-time job, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. When I’m not in class or at work, I’m usually home and available for walks, drop-in visits, or house sitting. I’ll always communicate my availability and make sure your pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve I’ll make sure to follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave, whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or just giving them plenty of attention. I grew up with dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for them and know that every pet is different. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and do everything I can to make them feel comfortable while you’re away.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. My cat Chanel has been with me for 5 years and my cocker spaniel Bentley for 1 year. I’ll treat your pets like my own with plenty of walks, cuddles, and love. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your fur babies and I’ll make sure they’re happy and cared for. I have a flexible schedule and am able to go home throughout the day and check on your pet if I’m not already home. I am usually home all weekend and if not then your pet is welcome to join my activities! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in a pet‑friendly apartment community with three dog parks, giving plenty of safe space to run and play. I’ll always keep a close eye on them, provide fresh water, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and cared for in a secure environment.
“Eileen was wonderful! She was very kind and communicative throughout Chyna’s stay. Her home was clean and welcoming, and she consistently sent pictures and updates which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. At one point, her dog got into Chyna’s food, and she immediately offered something toward the cost of replacing it. I really appreciated the gesture because things like that can happen, and her willingness to acknowledge it and help meant a lot. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and attentive sitter.”
