I have cared for animals of all ages, including seniors with medical conditions, babies, high-energy animals, and pets that have behavioral concerns, etc. I have completed pet first aid and CPR training through Pet Safety Crusader. I have experience with administering medications, walking, feeding, and cuddling! I have experience administering insulin to cats. I am used to cleaning up after pets that are older and may not always make it outside or to their litter box for the bathroom, and animals that may try to dart out open doors or gates. Starting in January, I work Monday-Friday 7:45 am to 1 pm. Outside of that, with notice, I can generally be available. I am a mom to a toddler, so I no longer do overnight care in other peoples homes. Exceptions can be made for people in my neighborhood! The age and weight of animals have I have cared for is varied. I'm used to giving medication if needed. While owners are away they will always know if something is wrong with their house or pets and will not lack on receiving picture updates from their furry babies. I do work full time 4 days a week. I'm currently in graduate school to become a speech language pathologist and I’m wanting to supplement my income with some sitting/walking/dropping in jobs before and after school during the week and on the weekends. I will not be able to provide sitting services for any pets inside of my home as I already have multiple animals like cats, dogs, chickens, and fish at my home.
About: I am a Biological Science major currently looking for work! I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was child including bigger and smaller breeds of dogs, and a variety in ages/temperament of cats. I also have a good amount of knowledge in caring for fish, reptiles, rodents, and birds. (Not an expert, just well read!) I have also been employed previously as a Senior Caregiver under Senior Helpers Lexington, so I know caring for your fur baby will be a walk in the park (pun intended)! So weekly, I do volunteer at my local high school marching band as a percussion tech, (Go Mustangs!), so afternoons, other than Wednesday, are a no go. I am willing to do overnights (except Friday and Saturday nights) starting at 8:30 pm! Anytime during the weekday between the times of 10 am-3:30 pm are available to me! If there’s an emergency, as long as communicated and I am able, I can be more flexible with these exceptions in my schedule. My own home is not available as of right now, but at a clients home, whatever is asked of me will be completed to highest level of care and consideration. Anything I am unsure about will be communicated as promptly as possible. My main goal for caring for your loved one is that they are safe, happy, and nourishingly enriched ie taking for long walks, eating on their schedule, and giving medication if needed.
About: Taking care of dogs is second nature to me. I am a dog loving household and am always itching to find another 4-legged-frito-smelling doggo to love on. I have 2 dogs, a schnauzer mix and a labradoodle. They are couch potatoes, so anybody would fit in here. I have worked with dogs basically my whole life and have dog sat for countless friends and families. I am a certified pharmacy technician and am able to care for your senior dog with medical needs. I would be best fit for families who wanted to go on weekend trips and leave their doggos to someone they trust! I can also offer services through the week if need be. I am an early riser and let our dogs have as much outside time as they want until I leave if I have to. I have a fenced in yard, as well as a larger front yard for running and playing. I have baby gates to separate if needed for feeding time or at night for sleeping arrangements.
About: I have always been around pets I love animals like they were my own and make them a priority when I can care for them! I am a missionary here in Aiken county so all my days look a bit different but very flexible and I often work from home I try to build a safe trust between me and the pet I am entering into their space to care for them and love them
