About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was very little. One of my first chores was giving our cats and dogs dinner. Other than family pets, throughout college neighbors would ask me to pet sit and help out with walks for their dogs during the year & summers. I'm a grad student so 9-5 during the weekdays is difficult, but anytime after that (before like 10pm) or on the weekends after 10am or before 10pm would be ideal! I have indoor cats that have plenty of space, toys, water, food, and sturdy windows for them to stare at. If I visit your home, I will spend no more than 1hr playing with your pets (if they want!) and changing food/litter/water as needed.
