She is very responsive and has always made time for us, even on short notice. She clearly loves having dogs around and takes such good care of them. Ollie is always a bit anxious when we leave him, but with Anely, he immediately calms down and knows he is safe. “Isabel and her husband were the best hosts I could have asked for for my puppy! This was my first time leaving my dog, Wren, overnight anywhere for longer than 1 night and they were phenomenal with her. Isabel was constantly sending me updates and the most adorable photos which provided me with so much comfort knowing that Wren was taken care of. Her dogs and mine got along great so knowing that she had some friends with her the whole 8 days was a HUGE bonus. It's so nice knowing that when I travel again in the future, I have someone safe to leave my dog with. Thank you Isabel!”

“Karen made our dog feel right at home and has a perfect fenced in yard that is dedicated to the dogs. Her Lab made the perfect companion to keep our excited pup busy and entertained. Karen also sent pictures and was very easy to communicate with, definitely going to be returning next time we need a sitter!”

“Alyssa was the first time I ever hired a pet sitter 😊. I was super impressed!! Willow is a rescue we only had about a month, so we were concerned about having her get nervous and anxious in a new environment and away from us. Alyssa kept us updated on my Willow's stay - pictures and prose. We were so relieved to see Willow getting along so well with Alyssa. Willow came back content, and we were so happy to have found Alyssa!! Your pets will be so lucky to have Alyssa care for them; do not hesitate in the least. You will see for yourself what a loving and codependent care she gives them !”

“Connie was great with Eli and also very communicative with me, sending updates and photos of my big boy throughout the time that she was watching him. She also took the time to take him for a little walk as it was a beautiful day and overall, Eli seemed very content with spending his day with Connie and we’re looking forward to the next time!”

“Doris’ home was a great setting for Rocky. Doris was very communicative and excellent and prompt in responding. Loved the daily photos and videos. I definitely recommend Doris.”

“Karen is an absolute angel! I am a first time pet owner and this was my first time sending my dog to a sitter. She made the whole process so smooth. From the meet and greet to the day of drop off, she kept in touch and was very responsive. “Isabelle, once again, was absolutely perfect in dropping in to check on our cat while we were away! She followed our instructions to a T and was super helpful in providing us pictures and commentary for each of her visits. Highly recommend!”

“Emily did a fantastic job of caring for two senior cats as well as our downstairs neighbors' two rambunctious younger kitties over Christmas, including one cat that takes medication twice daily! Emily was amazingly patient about giving medication, even when Cleo decided to put her through her paces, and communicated frequently both to troubleshoot Cleo's medicine and for regular updates. It was a great relief to have someone taking excellent care of our cats while we were visiting family for the holidays, and from the adorable pictures she sent it's clear that our cats loved her visits as well!”

“Bri was great when watching over my fur babies while I was away. One of my cats needs a daily oral medication and isn’t a fan of strangers, so when she wouldn’t let Bri manually administer the medication, Bri got creative and was still able to give my cat her pill every day while I was gone. I was so anxious to leave them, but it helped that I left them in very capable hands. I came home to two very healthy/happy kitties and clean litter boxes!”

About: I have always lived with and taken care of cats, from kitten to old age. I’ve been trusted by many friends and community members with their pets and as a new member of the Providence area I am excited to continue this legacy. I am patient and caring and know how to build trust with cats to allow them to feel safe with me.

“Maryann is wonderful! She displays a very obvious love for animals, and made a point to consider my pet's individual needs+personalities ahead of scheduling. While I was away she sent lots of photos and thoughtful notes, outlining her visits each day. It was so reassuring to receive updates while gone, and the pets were calm and cared for upon my return. Definitely hoping to book again.”

“A big thanks to Sam for all the extra care for my kitty. I recently moved and Thea is still adjusting. Sam quickly gained her trust and she spent most of her visit time giving pets. Sam also kept my cat's bowl super clean, Thea is a messy eater and it looked spotless every day. Above and beyond. Thea will definitely want Sam back again, and I agree.”

“Michelle took care of my very shy and anxious cat while I was away on a long international vacation. She sent me videos and tons of pictures every day and copied everything into WhatsApp to make sure I could access it. She even forwarded the updates to my partner, too. My cat warmed up to her almost immediately (and he’s VERY picky)! She took such excellent care of him and I felt so much more at ease with her updates. I would recommend Michelle to anyone with a pet.”

“Liana did an amazing job with my two boys. They were happy cats upon my return after 6 days. Liana is a great communicator and takes many photos during her visits. I will be using her again and would recommend her to anyone in need of a pet sitter.”

“I recently had Kaitlyn take care of my cat, Tekkila, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Tekkila was clearly well looked after—happy and relaxed. Communication was great throughout, with regular updates and photos that gave me real peace of mind. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again! Purr-fect! Pet approved 🐾”

“Meira was wonderful with Deedles! Deedles doesn’t warm up to people very quickly, but within days she was flopping for scritches. Meira was great with sending detailed updates and pictures every visit. She was very responsive and left my place nice and clean. Thanks, Meira!”

“Katie did a phenomenal job with my cat Gracie! She was communicative, kind, and attentive to detail - and I had a lot of confidence leaving my cat in her care. I came home to a happy cat and a house just like I left it (emptied trash, fresh sheets, clean dishes) - would happily use her services again!”

“Jules was wonderful! I felt really comfortable leaving Courgette with them and felt very at peace. Jules was also great at communicating, would certainly choose them again.”

“As a helicopter kitty mom I could not have been more thrilled that I found Heath! Pickles & Peanut were so loved during their visits? Every day seeing them in pictures really made me so happy, especially the ones of them cuddled up to Heath ❤️”

“Dorota and Wayne are the BEST hosts ever!! Ricky loves going to stay with them! They have a HUGE yard where Ricky loves to play. They have wonderful dogs of their own who Ricky loves to play with. They're usually hosting a bunch of other great dogs, so it's always a big doggie party at their place!! They treat Ricky like one of their own, he has the run of their yard, their house, and their bedroom...he feels right at home!! The best part is Dorota sends LOADS of pictures everyday so we can see first hand what a great time Ricky is having when he stays with them!!! They even Facetimed with us!! We highly recommend Dorota!!”
“Anely was lovely to work with. She was very careful and considerate with my timid pup, and helped her break out of her shell. I would absolutely recommend her services to others.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
“Baron had a great day with Isabel and her fiancée! Despite him being a slightly anxious pup at times, he seemed to be at ease, relaxed, and enjoying his time. Isabel was very responsive and took very good care of Baron. I will definitely be booking with Isabel again!”
“Gunther loved hanging out at Courtney’s house with his new friend Lucy! They are great hosts. He came back exhausted and happy- we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and friendly home-away-from-home for their canine companion.”

“Michelle was very attentive with my dog, Zury, who can be timid in new places. She made sure she went on plenty of walks and sent me great updates throughout the day!”

“Lisa was so good with our dog, very attentive, and very clearly a pet lover! We also received many cute pictures and updates which we really appreciated. Our dog had a great time with her. Highly recommend!”

“Zachary was great and took Oakley in last-minute after my other sitter cancelled. He was very understanding of Oakley's needs and they seemed to have a great time!”

“Sonia is absolutely fantastic! My dog Isla had an amazing time and was so happy and tired when we picked her up. We'll definitely keep rebooking going forward! Having just adopted my dog ~6 months ago, this is the first time we've left her with anyone other than family and I have to say I was SO comfortable and happy knowing that she was in great care. Sonia sent pictures almost immediately to let us know Isla was settling in and more to follow up during the day. Highly, highly recommend Sonia-- wonderful experience knowing that my dog was in the best possible hands!”

About: I grew up with animals throughout my life. I started dog walking other families dogs or pet sitting at about 13. I have two cats, and currently walk two dogs a few times a week. I am a nurse and currently in school for my masters. I work nights so I am home daily and love to take care of pets in between class. Trust is a big part of pet care. As someone who has pets trusting someone to walk or pet sit is a big deal. Since I am home all the time your pet will never be alone and always comfortable.
“From the moment I pulled up, I had a great feeling about leaving Caroline with Matthew. He was outside playing with his pup and the strong bond they have was obvious. While watching Caroline, Matthew sent great photos and was very communicative. Would 100% recommend for doggy daycare!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I’m confident in creating a calm, loving environment that fits their needs. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will have plenty of attention throughout the day—and with a beautiful park right next door, daily walks and outdoor time are part of our regular routine. I genuinely treat every pet like my own, giving them the care, affection, and respect they deserve. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I start the day with morning walks (the park next door is perfect for that), and I build in time for play, feeding, potty breaks, and snuggles throughout the day. Evenings usually include a final walk and some wind-down time. Whether it’s a short visit or overnight care, I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention and care woven into my day like they’re part of the family. In my home, I create a safe, calm, and pet-friendly space where your pet can feel comfortable and cared for. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible—walks, feeding times, play, and rest—to help them settle in easily. I live next to a park, so daily walks and outdoor time are a big part of our day. Pets have full access to cozy spaces, and I’m always nearby since I work from home.
About: I grew up with dogs and have taken care of dogs my entire life. I am able to provide your pup a safe, comfortable, and happy environment day and night. I am the proud parent of a 3-year old labradoodle named Yoffi and he has a typical feeding, walk, play, and sleep routine. I work from home, so I am able to supervise and maintain a safe and happy home for all pups staying with me and Yoffi. I am also happy to administer any medication and take any special care instructions. I live in a large studio apartment so it is easy for the pups to play and socialize under supervision. In addition, there is a small dog park across the street from me. I treat my pup like family and do the same for any guest pups. My goal is always to provide the happiest, healthiest, and safest environment possible.
“Gilbert is the best Rover host I’ve had the pleasure of using to watch Leo. I was provided videos throughout the day and Leo played hard with Gilbert’s dog Moon all day. I couldn’t be happier and I’m going back tomorrow for one more day. Gilbert was also very flexible with my schedule as I hit a snag during my business in Providence.”

“Elba and her daughter are delightful! Very easy to work with, flexible, and accommodating. They took such good care of my little Finnegan, and I am beyond grateful for their service. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned dogs for over a decade and currently have a highly energetic wirehaired vizsla. I have worked as a teacher (elementary school, high school, and undergraduate), camp counselor, and lifeguard, so I have ample experience with safety and supervision. I now work from home and can attend to your pup all day. I have also frequently cared for pets of friends both overnight and for pop-in visits. I work remotely and am flexible during the day to help when you need it! I have a car and am able to get to you easily. I am completely comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and exercising them how you see fit. As a dog owner, I am well-equipped to walk your dog and play. I am happy to provide mentally stimulating games and exercises, and I am comfortable with a variety of leashes (easy-walk, gentle leader etc.) as well as with crate training.

“I really appreciated Emily’s last minute responsiveness and willingness to navigate senior dog arthritis stuff, even offering to carry my 50lb dog up and down the stairs if necessary (it wasn’t). Thanks!”

“Maryann was very communicative, thoughtful, and knowledgeable about dogs/dog care in general. We’d hire her to watch our little one another time in a heartbeat!”

About: Growing up next to a door trainer is no joke. It was definitely my gateway into pet sitting. With years of experience sitting all kinds of animals, I’ve never met a dog that hasn’t loved me. Reactive, old, needy, temperamental I’ve experienced it all. Reach out if you would like to set some time to meet and let me see how I can make your day a little better. As a part timer in nightlife, I work weekends at night. Luckily that frees up my week to be able to walk or sit for you! My superpower is sticking to the dogs routine, to set them up for success. Picky dog? Not a problem! If I do a longer stay; I will be sure to leave your home in better condition than I found it in.

“Susan goes about and beyond! I don’t know what I would do w/o her and my Bentley loves her. She cares for him as if Her as if he were her own dog. I’m so glad we found her.:).”

“Katie walked our two dogs three times a day for a week and was fantastic. She was always on time and sent photo updates. We would love to have Katie walk our dogs again - would absolutely recommend her!”

I have experiencing petsitting homes with multiple pets with different routines/schedules (and four litter boxes!), as well as administering medication and caring for and walking elderly pets. I’d love to take care of your fur-babies when you need help while busy at work or trying to fit in a last minute vacation! I enjoy getting to know pet’s unique personalities and needs. I grew up around animals my whole life — dogs, house cats, barn cats, and even neighboring farm animals and wildlife. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Recently losing my longtime companions, Niko, a tiny chihuahua/corgie mid x rescue with a huge personality, and Copper, a golden with a goofball heart of gold, reminded me how deeply our pets become family. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet at home while working, traveling, or managing a busy schedule, and I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy caring for them. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, patience, or extra attention, I’ll treat them with the same love and care I’d want for my own. “We were in a tough spot when our original dog sitter canceled the night before we were supposed to leave for the holidays due to illness. Jessica came to the rescue by accepting our last-minute request. From the start, she was upfront and transparent about her situation. She was already watching another dog that wasn’t comfortable around other dogs. She had a well-thought-out plan in place to keep the dogs separated, which gave us complete peace of mind. Jessica was highly communicative, keeping us updated with pictures and videos of Apollo throughout the stay. Her attentiveness, reliability, and thoughtful approach made the entire experience stress-free. It’s clear she truly cares about the pets she watches, and we’re so grateful for her help.”

“Giovanni was very professional and he has a very loving home. His own pets are well cared for. He even has a 19 year old poodle mix! It’s a real testament to the TLC in the house that can bring a dog into his 19th year of life. Giovanni and my dog were fast friends and I look forward to working with him again soon.”
