“Having Heather at our house allowed us to relax on our vacation. She gave us daily updates with photos and videos that the family enjoyed getting. We have three cats with varying needs and not fully integrated yet. Our eldest cat has some health issues and involves getting fluids. Heather understood our concerns and could keep her on her daily schedules. We also have an energetic kitten who needs serious play time. The last cat normally snubs us when we come home after going away but she didn't this time. When we came home the house was tidy with freshly scooped liter boxes and swept up litter. There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heart’s content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Since 2016, I’d eagerly come home each day looking forward to taking my dog, Teddy, on long walks outside. About: I have watched many family members and family friends pets. I have experience in watching multiple dogs and also staying overnights. I have worked in a vet clinic at my technical Highschool I was previously in for about 2 years. I also worked at the vet clinic over the summer as well. A previous job I have had required for me to watch 8 Standard poodles. I currently do not have a job so I have plenty of time during the week and weekend to help any owner in need of pet sitting. From walks, baths, feeding and playtime, I’m experienced in taking care and having fun with dogs of all ages. My dog in particular was a senior and she dealt with arthritis and liver disease, which would limit her ability to do certain things like long walks and going upstairs, or even eating. He was able to accommodate our two dogs very last minute (since our return flights were cancelled and we needed a new sitter) and then again he was very flexible to continue looking after our dogs when our flights were rescheduled multiple days later by the airlines. We appreciated the great communication and our boys were tired when we picked them up which is not an easy feat for our Australian Cattle Dog puppy! he definitely gave them lots of exercise and attention.
