About: I’ve cared for cats since I was a kid and have always loved them. I volunteered for several years at Petco with Feline Finish Line, helping care for and socialize cats while they waited for their forever homes. I also have a cat named Pumpkins, who I absolutely adore. My experience has given me a strong understanding of cats and their needs.
About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. About: We’re happy to follow any specific instructions you have for caring for your pets while they’re with us. If your animals are staying in our home, they’ll have access to a spacious yard where dogs can play and run freely. We also have a small dog and a cat who are well-socialized and have done well with other animals during previous stays. However, if any pets need to be separated for comfort or safety, our home is set up to accommodate that easily and without stress. Our main services include boards and drop ins. We also offer house sitting services; however, please note that we are not available for overnight stays at this time. We have a large, open yard where dogs can play and get plenty of exercise, as well as a designated playpen area in our basement for indoor fun and safety. If we’re caring for your pets in your home, we’re happy to follow any specific guidelines or routines you provide to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

About: Growing up I was the main caretaker of our family dog, and cats. I developed a love and passion for helping animals. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my own, and my rover pets enjoying their life. My family, and friends rely on me to pet sit, walk, board, and provide basic care when they cannot. About: I was working in a Dog daycare for 5 years before I started my own business. In that time I also received my dog training certificate. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs in my time working with animals. Pet care is my full time job. All I need are the days you're looking for and I can add you onto my schedule. I know of many animal(dog) parks in the area near my house, but love to take animals on walks if applicable! “Amanda was just what we were looking for! Our fur baby is a11 year old Golden Retriever with some heath issues. We really wanted to find a caring person with children( she loves kids) we knew this would cheer her up,and we were right! As a matter of fact when we picked her up it was almost like she wanted to stay! She was depressed for the first day we brought her home, which to us it was a good sign that she had a good time! We will be bringing her to Amanda in October. I highly recommend her!”

We needed to find a short 2 day stay for our pup while stopping through Lancaster, and Laken responded promptly and was able to take our dog with only a few hours notice! Laken sent pictures throughout the visit and even helped apply ear cleaning solution due to a little flare up. Recommend Laken for anyone looking for dog coverage!”
