“Melissa and Dan were absolutely wonderful with my dog, Princess Leia. She’s a small terrier and very much a COVID puppy, so she hasn’t had a lot of exposure to other dogs. I was a bit nervous about leaving her while I went out of town for my 50th high school reunion, but Melissa and Dan put me at ease right away. From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. They truly love dogs, understand dog behavior, and provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment. I would not hesitate to book with them again.”

“Yuiko is the best! We just returned from a 12-day trip. During our time away Yuiko looked after our 26lb 1.5 year old terrier-mix Bailey. This was Bailey's third and by far the longest stay with Yuiko and her family. Bailey was a member of Yuiko's family during his stay. He made lots of friends. He was superbly cared for. Yuiko kept us abreast with multiple daily photos of Bailey. And she gave us a detailed update when we went to pick Bailey up at the end of our stay. I highly recommend Yuiko.”
“I was really worried about leaving my dog for the Thanksgiving holiday as I was visiting in-laws who are not really dog lovers. This is my first time using Rover and I searched each profile to find a perfect fit. I put in a request and got 2 hits right away. I chose Kira but honestly wasn’t sure how things would go as my precious dog is 14 years old and she is very finicky. After speaking with Kira and visiting how she cares for the pets while in her care was just what I needed. After dropping my pouch off I still was nervous. But Kira eased my nerves by sending me pictures and remaining in contact with the entire time I was away. This was a great stress reliever to have someone to care for your furry loved ones. About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. I am very comfortable working with dogs that have disabilities as well as I have watched dogs that have diabetes, seizures, paralysis, and age related issues and despite the disabilities we still make the stay an enjoyable one. With me, dogs will get plenty of love, play time, and as many walks as they'd like! I currently hold a full time remote job so my flexibility is great for pet sitting! I can do morning, afternoon and/or evening walks, I can accept pet care in my home or travel. I have many options for accommodation. I reside in a safe private community townhome with plenty of walking paths and a fenced in yard. I do prefer to host at my home as it makes remote work easier due to my inability to transport my monitors but am open to house sitting upon request.

Ronon has big feelings and separation anxiety, so I'm very picky about who I leave him with. (Also, he has all the hops and can jump a five foot fence. Sam has a very secure yard.) When I pick him up, he is relaxed and happy! I'm very comfortable leaving Ronon with Sam and will definitely be a repeat client.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs in my household since I was born and me and my mom have trained our dogs that we have now together. We also used to foster dogs and take care of them until they found their forever home! It is always important to me that dogs never feel alone or forgotten during the day so I would love to also take care of other dogs! Currently I am off for the summer and I am a student in my Masters program with flexibility so I can mostly take care of your fur babies whenever! In my home I currently have two dogs, the have a huge fenced in backyard that they can run around in and we have huge baskets of toys that they can play with as well! If you need anything specific that you need me to do with your pets in your home I can do that as well!

I do work Monday through Friday from 9-1 which is about 15 minutes away from my house, but my hours are very flexible to where I can be home during the day prices just may vary if your dog needs someone home all day! I have a fenced in yard, I have a pool if your dog is a water lover, lots of treats, I used to have many dogs but as of now I only have a yorkie in the house along with my two younger siblings who grew up with dogs and love dogs and my two parents.
