I genuinely enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality, even the aloof fur babies. Whether they’re playful and outgoing or shy and independent, I take the time to let them warm up at their own pace.🩵🐈⬛ Watching my boyfriend’s high-energy Rottweiler/Bully mix has given me hands-on experience with a dog that keeps myself, and everyone within a mile radius on their toes! Through a strong amount of patience and unwavering consistency (even with all of his cuteness), I’ve taught him ways to help him develop better manners and impulse control. I’ve learned how to channel his energy into learning new tricks. I’ve become confident in finding ways to help even the most energetic dogs settle down and relax. 💕🐶 I work part time during the week as a support staff for adults with autism. I am available every Monday and Wednesday after 4pm, Tuesdays after 1pm, and Thursdays after 2pm. 😊 I ensure all tiny items a puppy or teething dog can choke on are put away. Leashing before walking outside is a must, even with the most well behaved animals. Double checking that the doors are closed is essential, and will never feed your pet food/treats that have not been approved by you.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own dog as well as family and friends dogs for about 10 years. I am able to take long walks, feed, and entertain in general. “FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE FOR A FIRST-TIMER!!! We had a wonderful experience with Melissa & Cody! As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous, but they put us at ease right away. They were incredibly patient, answered all of our questions, and made us feel completely comfortable with the process. We had special requests for our dog's care, including a specific balance of playtime, downtime, and individual attention, and they were happy to accommodate everything. It is clear they are true professionals and prepared to handle any situation. Our Indy seemed happy and comfortable from the moment we dropped her off, and the fact that she ate well during her stay was a huge sign to us that she was content and well-cared-for. “It is a bit more difficult to find a knowledgeable pet sitter for a bully breed and Sam is great. We just had adopted Nox a few month back before I had to go on a business trip - Nox and I haven't figured out each other completely yet and Sam was great taking my concerns in consideration. Communication was good (very responsive) and I never had the feeling I have to worry about Nox at all. We definitely will book Sam again in the future!!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always been passionate about caring for animals. In addition to being a lifelong dog owner, I work in healthcare, where attention to detail, patience, compassion, and reliability are essential every day. I bring those same qualities to pet care. Whether your pup enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll provide dependable care and plenty of attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in caring and trustworthy hands. I work full time Tuesday–Friday from 8 AM–4 PM, with occasional Saturdays, but I’m available for evenings and weekends, and drop-in care. Mondays are bit more flexible as of now , that is subject to change end of August. I have two French Bulldogs of my own, so I’m very familiar with the special care and attention this breed requires. Because Frenchies can be prone to overheating and breathing difficulties, I closely monitor activity levels, especially during warm weather, and make sure pets always have access to fresh water, a comfortable environment, and plenty of rest. As both a lifelong dog owner and a healthcare professional, I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior, routine, and overall well-being. I follow all feeding, medication, walking, and care instructions provided by pet parents and make sure pets receive plenty of love, supervision, and companionship. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I maintain a clean, safe environment and treat every animal as if they were my own. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I strive to provide reliable care and regular updates so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
