There were several other dogs in Michelle's home and this gave Lennii plenty of new friends to socialize and play with. There is a nice fenced back yard for the dogs to romp. Most of all Michelle was very accommodating when we realized that we could not pick up Lennii at the designated time due to our plane being delayed. She was totally understanding and gave me peace of mind that it was fine for Lennii to stay until were able to get her. About: I’m Jenn, thanks for visiting my profile! I’ve been a dog mom for 8+ years, but caring for other people’s pets for double that. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time in one household. I volunteer and have fostered through Brindle Buddies and Friends. My experiences with dog sitting and volunteering has exposed me to a variety of ages, stages, breeds and sizes! It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My own dogs have equipped me in other ways as well having trained them both through local dog training facilities and needed to administer medication when needed. My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest. I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a travel agent that works from home on my own accord. I also have access to childcare some days/times of the week which can open me up to fully devote my attention to your pet. In home: I have a very large yard. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.

I take care to pay attention to the temperature outside and a dog’s needs and adjust walks accordingly (no walking on hot asphalt, make sure dogs with no undercoat are suitably dressed in cold weather, etc.). I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.
About: I stay at home all day to provide care for your pet(s) and provide them as much love and care as they receive at home. I stay home everyday with my 3 year old daughter. I have 2 dogs and a cat that all get along. I’m able to provide plenty of potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced in yard with room to run around and play with shade and water. Inside the home pets are allowed on the furniture and beds for plenty of cuddles.

Before scheduling the house sitting or drop ins, I would love to do a meet and greet to not only get to know you but your fur babies. Safety is my number 1 priority when it comes to pets. Having them get to know me and be comfortable with me is very important. I also have experienced with dogs that can be stress with meeting new humans. “As soon as you meet Michelle you know she is truly an animal lover. She also seemed very in tune to what Lennii needed and made her feel more comfortable. There were several other dogs in Michelle's home and this gave Lennii plenty of new friends to socialize and play with. There is a nice fenced back yard for the dogs to romp. Most of all Michelle was very accommodating when we realized that we could not pick up Lennii at the designated time due to our plane being delayed. She was totally understanding and gave me peace of mind that it was fine for Lennii to stay until were able to get her.
