Flynn and Izzy, being true scaredy-cats, ran and hid under our bed as soon as he arrived. Gary then cleaned out the litter, fed them, and checked on their water. He stuck around for a little while to see if the cats would come out of their hiding places. They do not normally come out from there when anyone is at the house. But Flynn eventually came out to the living room to investigate! Izzy popped out of the bedroom, but kept her distance at the end of hallway. Gary got pictures of both and sent them to us, relieving our fears that the kitties would be terrified. Thank you, Gary, for your patience with them. We truly appreciate it.”

About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. About: While I am currently unemployed and staying at my parents home, our family dog (Havanese) of 17 years recently passed away in February 2026. Now that my mother is retiring this summer, we wish to fill the empty home, and our combined newly gained free time, with some furry friends! For in-home boarding we will be a mother-son team with pretty wide open schedules to care for our furry guests, and will provide a great big house and yard in a great pet-friendly neighborhood for them to enjoy! I can also sit at your home if that is more convenient for you and the pet. My parents dog recently passed away at the age of 17. While I was living with them I helped to raise and care for her throughout the years. I thankfully and gratefully have always had dogs to care for throughout my entire life, from as a young child all the way to just recently with the passing of our most recent dog in February 2026. We have been dog owners for 15 years until our last baby passed in January at the age of 14. We have 10-year-old twins who love dogs and would love to play with yours, so your dog must be friendly with children. They are responsible enough to not bother your dog if it doesn't want to be bothered with though. I will have your pet with me on a pet bed, couch, or floor near me all day while I work from home. I can let them roam around the fenced in back yard as long as they would like. I am able to take them for walks at lunch and any time after 4:30 pm. We have 10 year old twins who love animals and would enjoy giving your fur baby extra attention. They are also responsible enough to not bother your dog if it doesn't want to be bothered with though.

About: I have been taking care of my friends miniature american bulldog named Yoshi for around a month at a time for the past year whenever she allows me to take him because he is so sweet and I have the time to train and walk him. I also have a bike path right behind my house so Yoshi enjoys his walks and seeing people that can give him scratches and belly rubs. I have 2 Guinea pigs that stay caged and don’t enjoy any fun activities with me so I enjoy the excitement of a dog I work from home, I have a skin care business making natural soaps so I am always home and available to go on routines walks. I’m also a mason and teaching myself carpentry and the goal is to build luxury dog homes so if you’re happy to have your dog be a model for my dog homes then it will be greatly appreciated and I will make a fun activity out of it for us. I also keep a large box of milk bones for good doggies. I prefer to spend as much time possible doing whatever your furry bestie enjoys that makes them temporarily not miss you but I do have a small back yard with an in ground leash and easy access to look out my window and watch if there’s any dogs who enjoy sitting outside for long periods of time, otherwise there’s lots of attention given and plenty of fun walks. Yoshi also loves car rides if that’s something your pet also enjoys and we’re going to start being regulars at the dog park since everyone loves him there and he loves everyone right back.
