I’m always around the area since I typically only go on vacation once a year. I work overnights but throughout the week my husband works from home as well so someone is always around to care for your dog. My neighbor has hired me many, many times over the many years we have known each other to take care of her pets, but on my own she has hired me for just about the last 6 years. I’ve taken care of 2 dogs at once and have given oral meds to dogs before. i work full time, but i can 100% make time for all your pet sitting needs! i can come in the mornings to watch your furbabies while also coming on my lunch to check in. we can always work out a schedule in which works for us both I can do just about anything you need for either dogs or cats! Once you show me what i to do for your pet, I’ll be able to help them be as comfortable and happy as possible!
About: I started training dogs at a very young age, and decided to make it into a career a few years ago. I specialize in fearful and reactive dogs, the overlooked and misunderstood. I have a part time job on the side . Even on the other days I am working elsewhere, I’m always working with dogs. We can always work around work schedules If your dog is up for it- I will include your dog in my daily life as if they’re part of the family. If they prefer a place to be calm by themselves, I have an area for that as well! I also do in home training, as well as meeting up at dog friendly locations depending on the need of the dog.
About: I recently relocated from Johnstown to McKeesport and am looking forward to meeting all the new pups in the area! I have been dog sitting for the past few years now and absolutely love it! My family has always had dogs since I can remember. I got my first dog, Ruby, named after the children’s show Max and Ruby, when I was 4 years old. I have loved caring for dogs ever since. Ruby is even still kicking at 18 years old! I now have a second dog, a 2 year old Husky who loves to play. I’ve trained many dogs, older and puppies since I can remember. I also have a lot of experience with elderly dogs, Ruby being a prime example. We go on walks often and I have basic dog training experience. I work part-time fully from home. I make my own schedule for work so I am completely flexible. The only time I ever leave the house is to take my dogs somewhere, dog park, hiking trail, etc. I am available every day and do same day bookings so feel free to reach out whenever you need! My dogs are very friendly and love other dogs. We also have 2 cats that play with our dogs as well. I have a fully fenced in yard to give your fur baby plenty of room to run around freely and play.

“Emily took excellent care of my Barkley while I was traveling for a family wedding. Barkley was dealing with some seasonal allergies, and Emily sent me updates daily to let me know how he was feeling. He needed to take some medications and supplements during his stay, and Emily did a great job providing those, as needed. This was Barkley's first visit, and he enjoyed exploring the fenced yard and spending time with Emily's dogs. It was nice to know that Barkley was well cared for while I was away!”
