“We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: I have always loved dogs and started caring for my friends and family’s when I was 12! Since then, I’ve found myself watching multiple dogs, staying the week at the pet owner’s home, and routine check ins for walks, feeding, and to let out. My classroom had a program called Doggy Daycare where we made sure the dogs had their walks, bathroom breaks and playtime as well as have them properly fed while their parents were away. I’m familiar with tick and flea medications. I am able to work with dogs that have special diets. About: I am the ultimate pet lover! I grew up with fish, a hamster, a rabbit, and dogs. In 2008, I adopted 3 puppies of my parents’ dog. They were my kids and my pride and joy! My last pup passed away in January 2024, 2 months shy of his 16th birthday. Since then, I’ve been helping to take care of family pets and am excited to offer walking, feeding, and sitting services for others in the community. I am focusing on finishing my last year as a doctoral student. I’m also an expert at time management! I am available almost everyday of the week. I am detail-oriented, caring, trustworthy, customer service-oriented, and I love animals! I don’t have any direct experience caring for cats, but I have been around them enough to be comfortable with them. I promise to take care of others’ pets like they’re my own.

I have 2 kids who love dogs they help me take care of the dogs. Private areas to separate dogs if needed. My dog is 12 and he is super chill he is more interested in humans than other dogs. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”
