“She arrived a little early so we could go over Ollie’s routine and instructions, which I really appreciated. She was also very friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She followed instructions, such as giving Ollie his enrichment toy and taking him outside. During the visit, there was an accident in the playpen that was not communicated to me and wasn’t fully cleaned up, and I also noticed Ollie’s water dish was empty. I appreciated her kindness and willingness to help, but I would have liked clearer communication about how the visit went. That said, she was good with Ollie and he really liked her.”
About: I've loved animals of all kinds ever since I can remember and have always had pets while growing up and since, including dogs, cats, parakeets, turtles, rabbits and fish. I can't imagine not having animals as part of my family. We currently have a dog and six cats. My dog, who is part Jack Russel Terrier, was a puppy when we adopted him, so it was necessary to house-train him, which I was able to accomplish in just a couple of weeks. I don't know if it was my technique or just that he was very smart! I recently retired from full-time work and can devote lots of time to my dog & cats. I try to stick to a routine, though, similar to the one I had when I had a job: scooping the litter boxes in the morning & evening and feeding twice a day. My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes so he requires an insulin injection after each meal, which needs to be very consistently timed. My dog has never been the type to want to run off on his own. We live in the country far back from the road but, because he won't even go outside unless I go with him, a fence or restraint isn't needed. However, I have lived in cities where having dogs on a leash was necessary so I have experience with that - having walked 3 dogs at once at times in the past. I would never let someone else's dog outside without a leash, tie-out, or fenced in yard. My cats stay indoors to keep them, as well as, the birds and other wildlife safe but, if a client's cat is allowed outdoors, I will do as they wish.
About: I have a 4 year old daughter in home who loves dogs as much as I do. My experience with caring for pets goes back a long time just with family and friends. But I’ve expanded my knowledge and experience in the past 6 years when I became I dog owner myself. I’ve helped train puppies. I’ve fixed behavior in dogs that have a more difficult time listening to commands. As well as helped with senior dogs when it comes to their feeding/walking schedule and making sure they take their medication. I’ve also helped pet sit cats and smaller animals as well. My two pups pictured are 5 and 2. I’ve trained them since they were puppies and we’ve been all over from Colorado to Germany. They’re in Germany now waiting to come home. I treat each pet as if they’re my own. Making sure they have lots of love and affection as well as getting the exercise they need. I’ve recently came back to the states after being stationed in Germany for 3 years. I’m a stay at home mom but that just gives me more time to care for pups and other sweet creatures. My schedule is open until further notice and is unlikely to change for the next few months. I like to do meet ups before booking. But with that being said it is a first come first serve basis and I only watch three pups at a time for the well being of all parties involved. As I’m currently in between homes. I am staying at the rainier hotel and can only watch dogs in your home or walk them until we get our home. However I am have open availability to take them out for walks or cuddles. I will Also update on their status with me as often as you’d like and make sure you don’t have any concerns.

I am able to offer a number of more premium services, such as 24/7 pet care and out of town house sitting, but that takes a lot of forethought and planning. I will not accept a request without meeting you and your pet(s) first. This gives us an opportunity to go over all your pet’s needs and your questions. Number one question I get - will you be bringing your dog to my home? Sometimes this is out of curiosity, sometimes they like the idea of their pet having a buddy, but usually it is a safety concern. My dog will never enter your home. When I house sit overnight my dog stays with my sister. She is perfectly happy there and I don’t have to split my focus. My job is to focus on YOUR pet! During walks and in general, I do not allow dogs to interact with people or other dogs/pets. This is a big safety concern, as I often know nothing about other people/pets in the area. I do not take those types of liberties with your pets. We will instead turn a corner, cross the street, come back the way we came, or I politely inform them that ‘this is not my dog’, ‘we don’t have time today’, etc.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. Thankfully, growing up we had multiple dogs and cats which allowed me to experience the love a pet can bring. I couldn’t imagine a life without having pets. With experience pet sitting before, I know that each home comes with different routines and scenarios. I’ve had to train plenty of puppies, given medicine to elderly pets, and always enjoy building a relationship with a furry friend! I currently work full-time from home as a Content Manager. About: Ever since we adopted my dog in 2019, I have been obsessed with caring for animals. I have taken my dog on at least 100 walks in his lifetime so far, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! Additionally, I have been requested by multiple neighbors and friends to dog sit and cat sit for them. I have been dog sitting and catsitting for the same people for about 4 years now, so I would say I have a lot of experience!! I currently work part time at Kohls, so my schedule is a little all over the place. However, I am willing to set a strict availability in order to balance both jobs. About: I’ve always been a dog family, growing up with always 2 dogs or more in my family households. When I was 20, I adopted my soul dog Dusty, who was extremely dog reactive. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. I really love animals with all my heart, and you have my word when you’re not home- you don’t need to worry about your furry loved one back home.

About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life from dogs to cats to rabbits and many more. I loved taking my dog for walks, but sadly she has passed away so I would love to walk your dog. I also love cats, I had one cat a few years back, but my parents won’t let me get another one so if you have a cat I would give it and / or your dog all types of love. About: I worked for a doggy daycare where I have learned basic training skills, worked with dogs of all sizes and needs, and cleaned up any mess imaginable! I have also grown up around dogs (specifically Pyrenees and Pomskies!) my whole life. For the past 4 years, I have pet sit on many occasions (with cats and dogs alike) and will always put the upmost effort and care into your animals. My mom and I were always the type to stop for any dog that needed help, so caring for them just became second nature to me. About: I have cared for many different types of animals since I was a child. Dogs, cats, bunnies, rats and hamsters. Fostered and lived with many dogs. I currently have dogs and cats. Right before COVID, we rescued a dog, and I trained him and since moving to Boalsburg and reuniting with my dogs I have wanted to bring more furry friends into our house for them to play with! I am home everyday, as I do work from home! I able to provide a morning walks as well as lunch and afternoon/night walks. Additionally, I am totally open to allowing your dog to make itself at home on the couch and bed! I want your dog to feel completely at home and give it a space to feel comfortable and fully itself.
