I am so glad that I did bite the bullet, search through Rover, and ultimately find Sari. She has been such a kind presence for both him and me, from the moment she came for the meet and greet armed with a smile and her notebook to take copious notes on what his routine was and what my house rules were. From quickly responding to a text I sent her when his smart litter box inexplicably went offline, to consistent pictures and videos and remarks on how he was doing (very well, with such a kind sitter!), I went from checking my phone constantly while I was away to realizing the time, going, "Oh, Sari is about to be there for her check-in" and instantly feeling reassured and confident he was in good hands. About: I am an experienced petsitter who has worked in a professional, insured capacity (for Heavy Petting Petsitting) for over a decade. About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life, and I have lots of experience with big breeds as I’ve owned three Newfoundlands and a Leonberger. I also have some experience with elderly dogs. I have assisted in training all the dogs I’ve owned, and most importantly, I love all animals! I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’ve gotten plenty of time to spend time with your doggy. I’m less available early in the day (6–9AM), but from 9AM onward I’m at the disposal of your puppy. :) I’m quite good with crate training, as well as dogs that are a bit more stubborn. I am comfortable staying with them as long or as short as needed. I also have a lot of experience walking dogs that require prong collars or harnesses.

“Ellyn and her family are simply the best!! They’ve watched our little Bobo (80 lb australian shepard lol) a few times and the most recent was for about a week and a half. She kept us updated and sent lots of pics which helped as I get anxious leaving him!! They live in a great location and bobo got so many walks and even had other doggy friends staying with him. We could tell he loved his time with her!! 10/10 recommend:)”

About: I've had animals my entire life pretty much. I had an orange tabby named Tiger that made it to 16 years old before he passed gently in my arms. I currently have a sheltie mix who is the bundle of fur you see in my profile. He's 13 this year and is still the same sweet puppy I rescued when he was just a little bean I do currently have my two dogs that would need to come with me but I work from home so I am able to devote as much time as needed to the animals I'm taking care of and give them anything they could possibly want. I love spending all my time with animals I'm taking care of. Any time I have dogsat for friends I usually end up sleeping on the couch in a big pile with them.
