So far, Lola has been with the same boarder, but they are no longer on the Rover app. I came across Donte and he immediately said YES. I was so happy and relieved and particularly excited and grateful that he is a dog trainer, which I made me feel like he could totally handle her. That was a true bonus in my mind. Lola has had training already, but it can take her a moment to warm up. Donte said she did good; I made her sound worse than she really is. Then, there was Grandma’s situation, where Caroline quickly accommodated adding one more day, and then, as the situation progressed, went to great lengths to ensure we were covered no matter what for an additional 3 days. I really enjoy figuring out those little things. I’m gentle, patient, and very respectful of each pet’s routine. I don’t believe in rushing them or treating every animal the same. Some pets need play and attention, some need slow walks and quiet reassurance, and some just need someone kind nearby so the house does not feel empty. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a way that still feels familiar to them. I’m also very careful with instructions. Feeding routines, medications, walk preferences, favorite toys, things that scare them, how they like to be greeted, whether they are allowed on the couch. I want to know all of it. I know these details are not “extra.” They are usually the things that make a pet feel secure. I’ll also send updates and photos, not just to say everything is fine, but so you can actually feel connected to them while you are away. My childhood friend and roommate, Matin, may also help me sometimes, and you may see her in some of my photos. She has had pets since childhood and fostered animals for several years, so she is very used to different personalities, nervous pets, affectionate pets, and animals who need a little extra patience. She is calm, loving, and very responsible, and I trust her completely with animals. Between the two of us, your pet will be cared for by people who genuinely like being around animals, but who also understand that trust matters. About: I’ve had dogs all of my life. My father trained dogs in the army and continued throughout his life. I currently have 3 rescue dogs, Marley (lab), Marshall (terrier mix), and Chester (Chihuahua). I also have 3 rescue cats, Tiger (orange tabby), Tabby (calico), and Boots (3 legged tuxedo). About: I’m a dog lover for sure. I would love to give your puppies a safe loving environment under my care. I enjoy mostly outside time with them throwing the ball running around with them and just giving them the fresh air and space to feel free. I have many years of experience caring for animals. I treat and love all animals as my own. I’d love a chance to give some extra love and trust to my new puppie friends :) Exercise and outside play. We start the day with meals (if your dog requires a morning meal) 25-30 min walk and depending on the day and weather we will play stay active before we wind down for snuggles and bed. I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to play and release energy, I also love taking hikes on safe and dog friendly trails. Dogs have free roam of the house no kennel needed unless requested. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and did over night visits. For friends and family. I also have taken care of puppies that were 6 months. I’m currently working part time at Costco. I normally work night shift and have two days off. I could walk dogs in the morning or at night I normally feed them twice a day once in the morning and the other at night. I would walk them three or four times a day. I would then take them outside to either play or run around in a safe environment.

“I am so grateful to have come across Donte here on Rover. I have an almost 3 year old Pit mix that I rescued. And Pit's just have a stereotype about them, so most people don't want to watch them. So far, Lola has been with the same boarder, but they are no longer on the Rover app. I came across Donte and he immediately said YES. I was so happy and relieved and particularly excited and grateful that he is a dog trainer, which I made me feel like he could totally handle her. That was a true bonus in my mind. Lola has had training already, but it can take her a moment to warm up. Donte said she did good; I made her sound worse than she really is. I didn't get any videos or pics, so next time, I will request. I like to see her progress. Donte let me know that Lola got to play with his dog; glad she got to interact with another dog. She needs that. Donte was very flexible as I requested to add on another nite for him to keep Lola. All in all, I am very pleased with his services. Donte lives not too far from me, so that's an even added bonus. I will most denitely use Donte's services again and highly recommend him. Thank you Donte for the great care.”

Her Border Collie Ollie seems to intuitively understand how to get along with other dogs, and was a very nice companion for Leroy's stay. I would definitely rebook with Aubrey.”

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.
