About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!

This was our first time leaving our 3 year old golden, so we were a little apprehensive until we met Ashley and her 2 great dogs. We were gone for over a week and we never worried about our dog; we knew she was a good hands and getting lots of attention and great care. Ashley sent us pictures, videos, and updates. Our 20-year-old was put on insulin about 10 days before we were due to leave and our regular cat sitters backed out because they were uncomfortable with giving shots. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found Dana through Rover. Dana was highly experienced with injections, understood each of our cats' peculiarities and also offered to continue feeding the ferals that we've been doing trap-fix-release with. She sent pictures every day. I never had to worry about the kitties the entire time we were gone. If I could give her six stars, I would.”

About: I have grown up with pets as a child to the time I came to college. In my childhood and early teen years, my family has owned a cat. In my mid-teen years, my family decided to own a dog! I have also volunteered at an animal shelter while in high school! I work full-time as a caseworker worker and I am looking for a second means of income that I love. I am able to ensure they have food, water and have gone potty before I leave for work, check in with them while on my lunch break and enjoy their company after work! We let my dog roam around in the house most of the time, however if we will be gone for an extended period of time (day trips), we will put her in a crate with a blanket, food, water and a toy to play with along with the television on in the background.

Right now, my schedule is wonderfully flexible. I’m a teacher on summer break and transitioning into a teletherapy position, so I have plenty of availability to care for your pets throughout the day. I believe pets are happiest when their routines stay as consistent as possible, so I make it a priority to learn each pet’s normal schedule, preferences, personality, and needs before their owner leaves. In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. I believe good pet care means respecting boundaries, recognizing needs, and responding appropriately to what an animal is communicating. I also love sending photos and updates, because I know how reassuring it is to see your pet happy and comfortable while you’re away. About: I am deaf, so I am able to bond with pets more because they cannot communicate their needs with humans. I am likewise, so I hope to communicate with gestures as they may did. I am studying in a certificate program, so that shouldn’t be a problem. I will work during the workdays, and I can be available during weekends. I have two kittens and three koi fishes. They are fed once in the mornings or evenings. I cuddle them for some time but left them to wander wherever their curiosity attracted them. My cats like to sit on my chest or necks when they wished to, but I left them to their desires when they want to.
About: I am back from home after graduating with a Masters this summer, so I am excited to come home and go back to dog sitting, what I’ve done since I was in high school! My dog Sammy is always so excited when we go home because she gets to meet new pup friends, and we both love having more dogs around to play with. Sammy is just about the nicest dog you'll ever meet. I've had dogs my whole life, and I love taking care of all animals, rowdy or calm! We have a huge yard (and a very tall fence, so no need to worry if anybody can jump over it!) that we can run in all day, and when we're all tired, we lounge on the couch and relax. Sammy and I take daily walks, and sometimes walk twice a day, which your animal can join in on as well. I take care of pets like they're my own, I just love them so much! My house will be like a home away from home for your pet. I am home working on writing and grading all day for my winter break so I am home the entire day to care for your pup. I will play or snuggle with the pets based on their energy and preferences! They will get treats as often as you tell me to give them (I know some pups are on a diet so I will wait for you to say if it’s okay to give any treats). They will go outside as often as they need and spend all winter inside a warm living room with me and my pup Sammy

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!
