About: My husband and I are animal lovers in general and dog lovers in particular. We always worry when boarding our own dogs and, now that we've retired, we wanted to provide a "home like" boarding service for other dog lovers. We have 2 rooms dedicated for the dogs to roam free. Sofa for lounging and television or music available during their stay. Bright sunlight and large windows. We have a large kennel that is outside and the dogs are free to come and go through a doggie door in our kitchen. We have many years experience caring for dogs and our family currently includes 2 bichon Frise. They are both peaceful and friendly and love meeting new dog friends. We wanted to provide a reasonably priced animal boarding service close to home. We are located in Hunlock Creek, 25 minutes from Dallas or Wilkes-Barre, 15 minutes from Nanticoke. Drop off time is anytime from 9AM on and Pick up time is by noon or you must schedule another day. If special times are needed let us know. We will also board birds and small pets at a lower rate. Ask us. Please visit us to see our home ! We are retired and available most days full time - check the calendar. All boarders roam free during the day and sleep on floor or in bed you provide at night. Feedings and treats on daily schedule. Daily exercise in yard if good weather. Dogs roam our secured house freely. Will either be on leash or on zip run if in yard. If dogs need to be separated we have a room we use for that purpose. If your dog likes to sleep in kennel please bring with you or we will provide a kennel or cage (extra fee).

About: Hello all, I've owned cats, dogs, and horses for over 20 years now and was their main caregiver starting at 8 y.o. I've worked at many horse barns and pet sitter for many many friends over the years. I have skills in pet healthcare (administering medication, baths, cutting nails, etc), young animals, dog & horse training, rescue animals, and elderly animals. I do my best to provide stress free care for your pets. I am currently working from home full-time! So there is always someone around to take care of your pet! My husband and I mostly like to relax and unwind at home with the occasional dinner date or movie, but are flexible and will be upfront with owners if their pet’s needs cannot be met! When pets are in my home, I always take note of the their state of wellness, looking for stress or anything out of the ordinary. I also will inspect the environment to ensure dangerous items (small items/chocolate/other) are out of reach. While we do not have a fenced in backyard we do have a lunge line that will allow your pet to enjoy running around in the backyard but provides a limit so pets do not go near the back alley road! I make sure pets have access to water at all times. I am able to administer medications easily whether it is as simple as pill pockets or even injections. We also have two dogs of our own as well as a cat! Geordi is a 10 year old Australian Cattle dog who is energetic but respects other pets space, Thor is a 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who loves other playmates, and Wynnona is that our 4 year old cat who tends to mind her own business!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as pets, so have lifelong experience caring for animals. My family owned a small farm for a period of time, so I also gained experience with horses in addition to cats and dogs. We owned a German Shepard and a cockapoo, so I do have direct experience with both smaller and larger dogs. About: I grew up in a household I'm the oldest of seven children so we had we all had a cat or a dog or a both and I've been taking care of them for many years. I have taken care of cats that were were diabetic, blind, hearing impaired. Cats can be temperamental so you need to be patient. Many cats need medication , cats like a clean litter box, they don't like to step in their own feces. They're easy to love easy to take care of even special cases it's never a problem you're taking care of a very loved pet. That's important to me as a cat owner.
About: I am very active, I play college soccer and during the summers I like to find things that keep me active everyday! I have 4 dogs of my own ranging from 20lbs to 90lbs. I have had dogs all my life and cleaning up after them and making sure they have time outside is nothing new to me. I also have 3 cats that even play with my dogs! My dogs are very well trained and I bring them everywhere I go. They keep me active and fit which is very well needed when returning to school to play soccer. About: I’ve taken care of my family’s and neighbors dogs and cat for around 4-5 years. From simple dog walking to dog and cat sitting as well as overnight stays. I absolutely love all kinds of animals and could guarantee that your baby will be in great hands! I’m currently in school studying to be an occupation therapist. I also work at a brewery during the week, but as long as owners are okay with me coming after 9 some night, would be willing to do overnight stays Sunday through Thursday every week. I have plenty of breaks to between classes to take animals out for potty breaks or walks. I give my dog the absolute world. I always make sure she has the best food and goes for walks frequently. My care for my own pet would not differ from my car for someone else’s pet. I’m sure all of the owners feel as though their animals are their babies and I do too. I wouldn’t want someone to not care for my pet the way they would for theirs, therefore I wouldn’t do that to someone else. I will make sure the animals are adequately fed, walked, and taken care for whichever service I’m requested for.

If you work mid shift or over night and need somewhere for your four legged children to go while you work we have just the place for them. About: I've taken care and rescued all sorts of animals from guinea pigs to giant pitties. I have been in rescue for about 9 years. It comes out of pocket, but if I don't save them or help who will? I am also good at medication injection and oral administration of medication as well. I can do walks, check in's, doggy day care, house sit, etc. I will accommodate your needs for your furbaby. I am not afraid of bigger dogs as most people might be. I think of them as giant teddy bears. I will send plenty of updates and pictures as I know leaving your furbaby with a stranger can be absolutely nerve wrecking. Just give me instruction, your furbabies name, any allergies, medications, walk/yard time and frequency, feeding schedule, and any other information you see fit and I guarantee your precious furbaby will find a new friend! My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I currently work a full time job. i’m usually off two or three days a week and sometimes overnight so i’ll be available during the day. I can easily crate if your dog needed it. My neighbor is a dog friendly area. I can doors and windows locked and closed at all times.

About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was a child. I have always had pets, and they were all family members. I went to school for Horse Husbandry. I have always been a horse person. We always had multiple animals in the house when my children were young. My dog, Nina recently passed at 17 and she had been my traveling companion all of her life. I have a natural love for animals that they can sense. I treat them as family, whether they are yours or mine. I will love them as my own. I am quite flexible as I am not currently working. That being said, I am not an early morning person. I usually am up before 9 though. I recently moved to Dancing Hen farm with my cats. They are strictly indoor cats until the spring. They are fed wet food twice daily and always have dry food. I feed Dilly, my step dog premium kibble with Freshpet, cheese, eggs, and chicken twice daily. She gets plenty of exercise on the farm. All of our pets are allowed to sit, sleep, nap wherever they want, including our bed and the tables. Everyone has a different style of living with with animal family, so I would do as you do with your furbaby.
About: I have taken care of dogs for about 2-3 years now. I have worked at animal shelters and now currently work at an emergency veterinary hospital, so I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds and cats. I have also been fostering and rescuing dogs for about 6 years now alongside my mother. I work full time, 3 days a week however, on my days off, I would be able to care for them at any hour needed. My schedule is pretty packed, but I will make accommodations with you to accommodate the needs of your furbabies or ones with scales. I don't have a fenced in yard at my apartment however I love to take them on long walks. I have walked dogs of all sizes. Super tiny to 100+lbs. I also have my own pupper Krypto so if boarding at my home please make sure your dog is other dog friendly as well as cats. I have 2 cats, 1 dog, 1 rat and a goldfish. If you are looking to board in my home I suggest a meet & greet to make sure your furbabies and mine are safe for their stay. I care for my clients furbabies like they are my own. I make sure the furbabies are happy and healthy. I will make sure my clients needs and wants are met. If you need me to watch them at your house, your house will be treated like my home. I will make sure your home is like you left it. I love to send updates because I know leaving your furbabies is really nerve wrecking.
About: I’ve taken care of my family’s and neighbors dogs and cat for around 4-5 years. From simple dog walking to dog and cat sitting as well as overnight stays. I absolutely love all kinds of animals and could guarantee that your baby will be in great hands! I’m currently in school studying to be an occupation therapist. I also work at a brewery during the week, but as long as owners are okay with me coming after 9 some night, would be willing to do overnight stays Sunday through Thursday every week. My care for my own pet would not differ from my car for someone else’s pet. I’m sure all of the owners feel as though their animals are their babies and I do too. About: I have had several family dogs since I was born and I love constantly being around them. Currently, I work at an animal shelter and spend my days walking and caring for cats and dogs. About: Hello all, I've owned cats, dogs, and horses for over 20 years now and was their main caregiver starting at 8 y.o. I've worked at many horse barns and pet sitter for many many friends over the years. I have skills in pet healthcare (administering medication, baths, cutting nails, etc), young animals, dog & horse training, rescue animals, and elderly animals. I do my best to provide stress free care for your pets. I am currently working from home full-time! So there is always someone around to take care of your pet! My husband and I mostly like to relax and unwind at home with the occasional dinner date or movie, but are flexible and will be upfront with owners if their pet’s needs cannot be met! When pets are in my home, I always take note of the their state of wellness, looking for stress or anything out of the ordinary. I also will inspect the environment to ensure dangerous items (small items/chocolate/other) are out of reach. While we do not have a fenced in backyard we do have a lunge line that will allow your pet to enjoy running around in the backyard but provides a limit so pets do not go near the back alley road! I make sure pets have access to water at all times. I am able to administer medications easily whether it is as simple as pill pockets or even injections. We also have two dogs of our own as well as a cat! Geordi is a 10 year old Australian Cattle dog who is energetic but respects other pets space, Thor is a 1 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who loves other playmates, and Wynnona is that our 4 year old cat who tends to mind her own business!

About: Hi! I’m Julie. I grew up on a hobby farm surrounded by a menagerie of animals from a young age. Everything from chickens and goats to rabbits, cats, and dogs, and the occasional bit of wildlife, were welcome in my families home. As a high school student I became increasingly involved in agriculture and milked cows and cared for livestock. This turned into a love that led me to college in rural Maine where I earned a degree in Agriculture and Sustainability, all while working on a dairy farm each day. Currently, I homeschool my two children and am blessed with the ability to work from home. We live on a wooded property and have access to a small lake which is boarded by a wooded dirt road. Additionally, we have a small walking trail system directly on our property. We share our home with a Newfie doodle, Arlo, who is 1.5 years old, a Sulcuta tortoise, and a cat that lives under the bed. We have a large red deck with a fenced in space off of this for easy bathroom access and unleashed roaming space for your dog. I work from home and homeschool my children. Our days have built in flexibility and can be arranged to accommodate the needs of any pet staying with us. We enjoy time outdoors, and can often be found working remotely or “out schooling” from our backyard or a hiking trail. In our home, the pets are people too (and we will narrate their thoughts based on their expressions 🤪). Pets are allowed on the furniture and in all rooms. We have a large front porch for slow mornings and evenings that stretch well past sunset. We also have a large deck in the rear which has a fenced area off of it to allow plenty of space for unattended bathroom breaks or unleashed space to roam. My children are well versed in animal care and also understand giving space to a new animal, calm energy, etc. I will always setup a meet and greet prior to booking to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Medications can be distributed, and special diets can be managed.
