About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.

“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: Had pets my whole life. I walk all the time and know where to take them and have an SUV with enough room to fit them in. Have 2 children who adore all animals. I have a full time job, Tuesday through Saturday, but I’m usually home around 2-4 pm. I’m available every evening and can stop to let them out during the day because of my job flexibility. I love both ends of the spectrum. I love being active and taking dogs for walk/runs. I also love relaxing and cuddling with them and getting to know what their preferences. I’ll make sure your pets get plenty of love, attention, and activity to help them burn off energy and feel happy, because that’s exactly what they deserve! I work remotely with a flexible schedule and am usually at home throughout the week. Even when I step out, I am only gone for a little bit! I remain available Monday through Sunday. About: I grew up on a small farm, so I’m no stranger to the hard work and love that goes in to animal care.I’m an all around animal person and had 4 dogs growing up I’m upbeat and active. I have a busy full time job, with a set schedule that makes caring for dogs easy. I have also worked for a doggy daycare. I have reliable transportation and am very motivated. I have been trusted many times with friends and acquaintances pets. I have house sat for weeks, and made drop in visits for many families. I have no dogs of my own at the moment, so getting to spend time with them whenever I can is great. :) I am willing to take your dog in the car or to appts if needed. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. About: Familiar with Shih Tzu & other small dog/cat care, follows directions easily, dependable, punctual, assertive, effective, kind, playful, & can build trust with animals quickly! I take care of my family Shih Tzu daily and have cared for our late Domestic Longhair cat; as well as my sister’s Australian Labradoodle, her long-haired kitty, and my Aunt’s 3 Italian Greyhounds on occasion. I’ve also had experience watching a Westie and other larger Labradoodles. Pet care comes naturally and second-nature as I’ve had pets in my home all my life. From dogs, cats, fish, frogs, hermit crabs, etc. I’ve learned how to look after plenty of life through the years.

As a current owner of two dogs(cockapoo and pitbull), five cats, and two guinea pigs, I'm comfortable with senior pets, administering medications (even to picky eaters!), and doing whatever it takes to ensure your peace of mind while you're away. I currently work a full time job with a block schedule so I know my availability ahead of time. Even on the days I work I am willing to stop by before and/or after work. I am great with late nights as my shifts end at 3AM I am respectful entering my clients home and willing to follow any instructions provided to me. If I am ever unsure about anything I will contact my client to ensure I’m giving their pets proper care.

About: I have grown up my whole life with animals. From little critters in cages to many dogs and cats. As a animal lover, I strive to give every animal the best life they can have. I take pride in teaching my own children and others just how special animals are and how to treat them with respect, tenderness, and correctly. We are a small family with 3 children, 5,6, and 17. I work part time night and spend most days around the house. My husband is currently a stay at home dad and spends his days at home as well. All of our children are in school so our house is empty and quiet for a good part of the day. We do not have a fenced in yard so leashes are required, but we do have a gated porch for extra security for sneaky ones. We do have 2 dogs and a cat. Both dogs are in their maturing years and spends most days and night sleeping somewhere. They are friendly and love meeting new friends, but we do have gates through the house if needed, as well as crates. Our cat is friendly but quite antisocial, and is unseen most days. We do have children, but all have been taught since a young age how to be kind and careful with animals. They have learned to respect boundaries as not all animals are the same.

About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
