“We had a fantastic experience with Sara (AKA Rosie) while we were away for five days in South Carolina. She was incredibly reliable, completing every single scheduled drop-in (3 times per day) without missing a beat. What truly sets her apart is how much quality time she spends with the dogs—not just letting them out quickly, but actually sitting with them, playing, and giving them space to run and explore in our large yard. Our doorbell would notify us when she showed up at the house and she was always out in the yard with the dogs while they explored. She followed all care instructions, including administering their daily joint supplements, and kept me constantly updated with detailed reports and at least 10 photos per visit—which meant I was getting about 30 pictures a day of my dogs being happy, active, and well cared for. That level of visibility gave me so much peace of mind. She was also incredibly proactive: when one of my dogs ran off to a less visible part of the yard, she immediately notified me and took steps to make sure he was safe (he was probably sniffing groundhog holes and choosing not to listen because he loves the yard). I also appreciated her sharing a funny moment when my dogs calmly sniffed a wild bunny—they weren’t aggressive, just curious, and it was comforting to know she filled me in on notable happenings while I was away. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13 years old. I have one dog named Zeus who is like a child to me and one cat named Tito who I also adore! Sometimes I think I like animals more than people😂. I’m Marisa 🐾 I’ve been professionally working with animals since 2017 and officially began building my own client base in 2024 after years of kennel management and hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Animals have always been my passion, and I truly love what I do. Pet care is not just a side hobby for me...this is my full-time career and business. My clients never have to worry about pet care being pushed aside for another job, changing schedules, or limited availability. Before going fully independent, I spent years managing a busy dog kennel where I worked with everything from puppies to seniors, shy rescues, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, strong pullers, medical cases, and large playgroups. That experience taught me how important patience, structure, safety, and understanding body language truly are. One of the things I’m most proud of is my ability to build trust with dogs that need a little extra patience or understanding. If you need someone to stay with your dog 24/7 I am not the best match. I AM AVAILABLE ON HOLIDAYS! THIS IS MY FULLTIME JOB!! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs before our visits begin. Whether I’m in your home or caring for your pet during a walk, I maintain a calm and controlled environment, always keeping their emotional and physical safety in mind. I closely monitor interactions, use secure leashes and harnesses, and follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, medication, or preferred walking routes. I never leave pets unattended and always keep a close eye on their body language to make sure they’re comfortable and happy. I also send frequent photo and video updates, so you’ll always feel confident and informed while you're away.

About: Hello! I'm Wendi. I'm a medical lab tech and retired firefighter/EMT. I am also a Pet CPR/First Aid Instructor. Prior to my careers, I worked at a private boarding kennel for 2.5 years. I have had multiple dog and cat companions over the years. I have a background in biology and medicine. Experience with large, small, young, and old. Multiple pet house holds are welcome. Experience providing medication including insulin injections. Special Needs pets are my specialty. I love spending time with dogs. It keeps me sane. Plus I always have healthy treats! We can play hard or just chill on the couch. Let me know how I can help you out and take away some stress while you're at work or away on vacation. I'm a weightlifter and Strongwoman competitor so large, strong dogs are not an issue. I work full time in a hospital on a rotating schedule (afternoons and midnights). We'll always be leashed up on walks. If you have a fenced in yard I will keep a watchful eye over your companion.

My husband and I are the loving owners of a 5 year St Bernard, 5 year old Anatolian shepherd, beautiful bird that is a green cheek conure. They were so gracious and understanding, their farm is absolutely beautiful, and they took great care of our pups, we were a mess dropping them off, we were 15 minutes late because we forgot one of our dog's beds, we also forgot one of their food containers, AND their bowls. Several weeks before our boarding and before I even confirmed the booking, Megan invited me to visit and make sure our pup would be comfortable or a good fit. Only once it seemed like it was going to be good for all of us did move forward. Willy stayed for a week. Megan was not only attentive to his usual routine but kept us updated with photos and notes about how he was feeling (he gets anxiety over storms). Nelia always keeps me updated and gives him his medicine as scheduled She follows my instructions exactly all the time. Most dependable and does not over react to his medical issues. Their 3 young children keep him entertained and the entire family gives him lots of love. Hershey LOVES the long walks through the neighborhood multiple times per day. Fenced in backyard with real grass is a bonus.. I always have peace of mind when I am away and he is under their care.”
