About: I grew up in the Endless Mountains of Sullivan County, PA. This meant I spent a lot f time outdoors bringing in animals that my parents would have preferred stay outside. Circa 2011, a stray female cat chose to make our brush pile a home for her & her kittens. One of these kittens, Bobart (she/her), is still with my parents today! Though most of my care experience pertains to sitting dogs, I am also familiar with cat care since I grew up always having at least 1 in the house. About: It wasn't until 2012 when I rented a home with a fenced yard that I adopted my first canine companion. Prior to that time, I always lived with cats and was the friend people thought of when they needed someone to do house and pet-sitting. I sat with quite a few small dogs, as well as a giant pit bull named Miles and a sweet special needs senior lab named Boogie. In my rural home on 3 acres are two 20 pound terriers named Jack and Sadie. They do not have a fenced yard to run around in, but always get at least three good walks each day (locally, on trails, dog parks). They're extremely bonded and are good with other small dogs and cats.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I personally had a 140 lbs Great Pyrenees who was reactive, so believe me when I say “all sizes and personalities” I’m currently a law student with no set work schedule apart from classes. As a result, I can be available during the work day as well as in the evening. I have a fenced yard as well as a large crate, if needed. I also have plenty of pet supplies from toys to treats to medicine.

About: I grew up with the most incredible yorkie-poo for 16 years, and I’ve been filling the void by following way too many dog Instagram accounts. I really miss having a dog around, so your dog will get a lot of attention and be in great hands. I’ve looked after pit bulls, a Shar-Pei, doodles, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and mixed breeds of all sizes. Whether your dog is big, little, high-energy, anxious, stubborn, or just wants a buddy nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I may find it hard to get work done because I’ll probably spend too much time hanging out with your dog. And if they’re into people food, I’ll respectfully disappoint them unless you tell me otherwise. I’m in a flexible stretch right now, doing job-search work, contract work, and projects mostly from home. That means I can usually build my day around walks, drop-ins, or hanging with your pet. I’m best for weekday daytime care, evenings, and some weekends with a little notice. If I have an interview, work call, or trip coming up, I’ll be upfront before booking so there are no surprises. I’m pretty careful and communicative by default. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep dogs leashed unless you explicitly say otherwise, double-check doors/gates, and send updates so you know your pet is good. I’m not going to freestyle with food, treats, medications, dog parks, or anything that could create a weird situation. If I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same respect I’d want someone to show mine.
