About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.

About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). “Kaitlin really came through for me not only this week — where she walked my dog 3x a day— but even more recently for a midday walk at the last minute. For my planned week away, my flight home was canceled and I needed her to walk the dog at night, although we hadn’t planned for that. It felt really good knowing that my dog was in good hands and that he would be able to get some exercise and relieve himself when I couldn’t be there. He gets super excited about his walks and tends to pull a lot in the beginning, until he calms down, and she was able to handle him. He also takes medicine regularly so she was really good with giving it to him in alternative ways. It’s a blessing to be able to leave your pet in the care of someone when they can’t be with you. Although there are always multiple dogs at her house, she is excellent at managing them all together and making sure each dog gets the individual attention he/she needs.”

“Tamikia is so kind and dependable. And my dog seriously did not want to leave when I came to pick her up. I got photos and videos every day, and Tamikia was available before my trip to do a meet and greet at her house. My dog has dietary issues and sometimes comes home with an upset stomach when she is boarded with someone who has dogs and/or cats because of getting into someone else's food but that was not the case this time. I am going to book with Tamikia for my next trip!”
“Donte is awesome! I've never left Theo with anyone before, this is the first time Theo and I have been separated for more than 24 hrs. This time it was from Saturday to Tuesday. I was supposed to pick up Theo on Monday but I ended up catching tge flue and Donte was more than happy to watch Theo and extra day.
