“Five stars is not enough for Benjamin! He, and his beautiful family (of humans and dogs) went over and above to take care of our golden retriever, Soda. When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. All of this incredible kindness and professionalism took place under extraordinary circumstances since their family was going through major things at the time. We are so grateful to have found him and will definitely be grateful to be able to work with them again. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”

“Joanna is the BEST of what Rover has to offer. Our 10 month old Goldendoodle Benny was cared for by her as if he was her own. We were out of the country for 6 days and the stress of having to leave him at a boarding facility was just too much. So I turned to Rover and after a few misses, found Joanna. On paper she sounded perfect. Before we actually booked anything we met up at a park near her house and she brought her little dude Henry. We spent about 30 minutes together and talked, watched the dogs play, and by the end of it I knew she was exactly what we were looking for in a 'dog sitter'. Honestly she feels more like a friend after this experience. She sent daily (and nightly) updates with pics and videos so I could see for myself just how happy our Benny was in her care. Benny's a really sweet dog but has MAJOR puppy energy and she was able to deal with it like a pro. And her boy Henry was just the sweetest. And when Benny got to be too much for him he had NO problem letting him know who was the king rooster in the house!!! hahaha I really can not recommend Joanna enough. About: Ive had been taken care of my past dogs and current dog for almost my entire life. I also take full care of my cat. I work with cats twice a week at a rescue shelter, and I did a short period working a doggy daycare facility. I can work full time during week, during the afternoons. I will be working at my job in the morning but will be fully free in the afternoons. Weekends may vary depending when I get a request. I make sure the pet gets enough play time outside, by either walking or playing with the pet. Make sure that the environment isn’t too loud or overstimulating, especially if there is more than one animal in the house.

About: I have lots of experience caring for all kinds of pets! I’ve worked with trainers for reactive dogs (I have one of my own), and I also care for a senior cat with complex needs. I love all animals. Because I create my own schedule for nursing, I often have days and nights free for pet care! I have a car and can fit all sorts of animal care needs into my schedule. When caring for your pets, I will spend lots of time playing, giving them cuddles, and taking them outside when needed. I will make sure they are happy.

About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.

All dogs are crate-free in family room unless there is behavior issue during the day, and all dogs stay in the bedroom with us at night. - Dog walking schedule: 6:30am, 11am, 3pm, 8pm, and before bed time. In weekends we take dogs to fully fenced dog parks for 30~60min. Schedules are adjustable as needed. I'm currently stay at home 24/7. We wake up 6:00am for the first walk, and a short walk every 3~5 hours. My working station is in the family room right next to dogs, so I can take care of the dogs quickly if anything happened. We have a cleared family room with a safe gate, the whole space is belong to the dogs. We also have a fully fenced backyard that allows dogs to burn their energy and enjoy the fresh air.

About: I’ve had a dog for two years now and he is my favorite thing in the world. I am good with walks and staying over to watch any type of dog or other pet. About: I have always had a dog in my house, even now. I know it's hard to leave your dogs when heading away. I hope that I can help! I can give medication, take your dog for walks during the evening and weekends and can provide extra love when you are not around. I have had experience with dogs who are not dog friendly with others, so I am able to handle dogs that might not get along, but that doesn't mean the can't have fun throwing the ball or go for walks (I've learned where to find the walks where other dogs won't be). Any other questions, please feel free to reach out! I’m available on weekends for walks or boarding. During the week, I am available after 4pm for walks and feedings until you get home from work. To make sure everyone is well hydrated, fresh clean water is accessible to the dogs every day at all times, inside of the house and in the backyard.

When we went for our meet and greet we didn’t want to leave. Their fenced in yard and the welcoming kind vibe made Soda and me (her human) feel instantly comfortable and at ease. Benjamin sent photos and videos of her girl having the time of her life while we were away almost 2 weeks. And he managed to get her in the car to go back and forth which is no small task since Soda is terrified of the car. “Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I was fully confident in leaving Mousse with her after doing an initial meet and greet. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”

“Joanna is the BEST of what Rover has to offer. Our 10 month old Goldendoodle Benny was cared for by her as if he was her own. We were out of the country for 6 days and the stress of having to leave him at a boarding facility was just too much. So I turned to Rover and after a few misses, found Joanna. On paper she sounded perfect. Before we actually booked anything we met up at a park near her house and she brought her little dude Henry. We spent about 30 minutes together and talked, watched the dogs play, and by the end of it I knew she was exactly what we were looking for in a 'dog sitter'. Honestly she feels more like a friend after this experience. She sent daily (and nightly) updates with pics and videos so I could see for myself just how happy our Benny was in her care. Benny's a really sweet dog but has MAJOR puppy energy and she was able to deal with it like a pro. And her boy Henry was just the sweetest. And when Benny got to be too much for him he had NO problem letting him know who was the king rooster in the house!!! hahaha I really can not recommend Joanna enough. So so grateful to have found her!!!”

“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches. I would definitely trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.”
