I was especially worried about our dogs as we've taken them with us whenever we've gone on a trip and they wouldn't be able to go with us this time. I was a professional dog trainer with a company for 3+ years and have had every breed imaginable with me throughout the years teaching them to be good pups through board and trains and lessons. I’ve also been entrusted to dog-sit multiple neighbors’ dogs, including a wolf/Husky hybrid named Loki; 2 “pitbull” mixes, Dicey and Scooby; and a GSD/Lab mix named Mya who has regular sleepovers at my house. I have experience giving dogs oral, drop, injectable, and subcutaneous IV medications. I take care to pay attention to the temperature outside and a dog’s needs and adjust walks accordingly (no walking on hot asphalt, make sure dogs with no undercoat are suitably dressed in cold weather, etc.). I’m a firm believer in letting dogs experience the world around them through smell, and allow them to sniff to their nose’s content on walks. If your dog is prone to pulling, please have a suitable harness available for use. (I highly recommend PetSafe EasyWalk harnesses.) NO prong, choke, or shock collars! I look forward to meeting you and your pup!! I work from home and my hours are flexible, so I am able to arrange my work schedule around the needs of you and your dog(s)! I always ensure that your dog’s collar/harness and leash are secure so they won’t slip out on a walk. I bring poop bags on every walk, and a water thermos and bowl on longer walks. Food, potty breaks, and medicine administration can all be given at drop-ins. I have experience giving oral medications, eye drops, injections, and sub-q IV drips to my own dogs, and can do so for yours as well with as much care and love as if they’re my own.

About: I am an experienced dog groomer who worked at Petline Grooming for 1.5 years. I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs of all breeds and sizes of all temperaments/behaviors. I have lived with 3 dogs throughout my entire life. Since I was old enough to be independent, I was helping to feed and take out my dogs. More than that I love to make sure my dogs are properly enriched by taking them on daily walks and investing in new toys for them. I am an animal lover who would love to take care of your pets! I have lots of availability and plan on doing pet care full-time for the time being. I am available most weekdays and some weekends.
