“Marie and her lovely family are a God send. My husband and I wanted to go away for Valentine's day weekend to get some alone time and we have never been away from our Sheldon, who is a clumsy, gentle giant and lovable doberman pinscher puppy (1yr and 2months and 80lbs lol). My husband was thinking of boarding him at a kennel and I could not stand the thought of him being locked up in a cold pen like a wild caged animal. Honest to goodness (Rover did not pay me) I told my husband about this commercial I saw about people who offer dog services- Rover.com. My husband was skeptical and well, I thought it would be better than a cold pen, where he would pee and poop in his area and let out for so long per day. The site was easy to use and i knew what type of person i was looking for. I wanted my baby to be in a home where he would be loved as their own, warm, and in constant contact with humans (if you dont know anything about Dobermans, they are called velcro dogs because they are attached at your hip and have to be where ever you go). I looked and read Marie's profile and I just knew she was the ONE! Her family was awesome, they loved Sheldon and she gave us frequent updates of their adventures, runs, and how he he'd wind down at night and even included lots of pictures! We could tell he was having the time of his life! Marie and her family put our minds at ease knowing we left him in good hands. We could not be more grateful to have found them. Sheldon came home with a second family. We highly, HIGHLY recommend them! If they are in your area, she is the highest qualified dog sitter and we will be using her again in the future for Sheldon.”

About: For my senior year of high school I went to a trade school to get my vet assistant certification. I graduated and received my certificate. In the program I was taught basic grooming nails, ears, and even shaving. Everyday we would walk the classroom dogs and interact with them. After high school I worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months before I ended up without a car and wasn’t able to drive the distance to work anymore. Looking for something to do on the side as I work a full time job but never wanted to give up working with animals as it’s my passion. I have a almost year old Pitsky puppy (pitbull/husky) named Dior. He is my such a sweetheart and loves to be around other dogs as well. Over the years I have watched my coworkers dogs, my uncles dog when he got fixed and had to wear a cone during the day so my uncle wasn’t able to watch him since he had to work, etc. I can’t wait to meet and interact with your furry friends and give them a special place in my heart as well💕 I work full time during the week but I always have evenings available to drop ins or walks. Days I am fully available would be Sunday and occasional Mondays as I now babysit as well. Weekends vary but I’m willing to be flexible. About: I started back in 2010 with an adopted Cat who made such an amazing first “pet” that became family! After meeting my now husband, we adopted 2 beagle brothers who were 1.5 years old! Unfortunately one became very sick but we still have his brother who will be 12 this November! He loves car rides, treats, and walks around our neighborhood! I use this often to give both our dog and my children the ability to release energy in a safe space!

I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds—cats, dogs, pigs, birds, and more—and have been caring for my own pets as well as friends’ and family’s animals for practically my whole life. About: I’ve been around and caring for animals since I was young and have always loved being around them. I’ve also spent some time fostering kittens and cats, so I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs. About: I have taken care of family pets since I was about 7. I have lots of experience with puppies since my English Mastiff has had 2 litters. Puppy experience has included, -Potty training -Basic training -Care for injuries -Bottle feeding A few years ago I started to take care of pets for family and friends and have loved it! I do not shy away from big dogs since i grew up with them. I have had experience with both high and low energy dogs, medications, and allergy accommodations. I would love to care for your pet and look forward to meeting them! I am currently work part time. I am not available Tue-Fri 2:30pm-10:30pm. If you are looking for a weekend or are comfortable with my leaving for up to 8 hours, I am available anytime. I am able to walk frequently and for however long your dog is used to. I am no marathon runner, but I can keep up with high energy dogs. I am able to do basic grooming and give medications.

About: As an experienced dog foster, I have cared for more than 25 dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs, representing a wide variety of breeds and sizes. In addition, I was the proud owner of four dogs who each lived long, happy lives and reached their senior years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the important role pets play as beloved members of the family. As a school teacher, I enjoy a very flexible schedule during the summer months and would love the opportunity to support families who need a safe, loving temporary home for their four-legged companions. Whether your pet needs overnight care, companionship during the day, or some extra exercise and attention, I am committed to providing the same level of care and affection that I would give my own dogs. As a teacher, I am currently on summer break, so I have availability daily throughout the week for play sessions and dog walks. I am also available for multi-night lodging. When you’re here, you’re family. Any animal under my care will be treated as one of my own. But with me, you get a whole family who are all trained in caring for dogs and cats, as each member of the household has been involved with fostering pups and raising kitties. The second floor of the house is separated by a door at the top of the stairs to allow separation between feline and canine friends if needed. Daily photos and FaceTime are available. We have multiple-sized dog crates if crating is requested. Although we may be new faces to your four legged companions, we will try to keep consistency in the rules you have at your home. If they are allowed on your couch, then they will be here. Feeding schedule will be dictated by how they ate at home. Walks will be frequent and there is a huge box of dog toys and cat toys to keep them entertained.

They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much!
