About: I grew up with pets (both cats and dogs) and have always loved being around and caring for animals. I worked as an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington, VT, where I learned safe handling techniques, gained medical knowledge, and cared for a wide variety of breeds and behavioral cases. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life and have been caring for them from a young age. I started dog sitting as a young teen for my aunt and now regularly care for a family friend’s Mastiff for about two weeks each year, so I’m no stranger to big dogs, drool, and extra-large cuddles. About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

She made time for me to come to the house and have a meet and great with her dog and my puppy. Throughout the weekend she would send me pictures of Gatsby playing and going on walks. It helped to ease my mind and see that he was having a good time and was in good hands. I will definitely be using Christy again! Thank you!”
