About: I’ve cared for a variety of different dog breeds over the last 15 years. I was the owner of two Schnauzer’s for 13 years. I was the neighborhood dog watcher while growing up and have a history of dog sitting for friends and family members. About: I’ve taken care of small animals since I was a kid. I was always the student who volunteered to take the class pet home for extended breaks from school. Some of the animals I cared for included leopard geckos, hamsters, and Guinea pigs! I have loved animals ever since 😊 Besides class pets, I grew up babysitting my Aunt’s dog, Oscar, whenever she went on vacation or needed some extra help. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. Rest assured that they will be cared for and spoiled to the best of my ability! I am a behavioral therapist who works with children and families. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. It is surrounded and my dog loved to spend time out there basking in the sun. I have a yard but it is not fenced in. My neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly.

In a client’s home, I carefully follow feeding schedules, refresh water, clean litter boxes and outdoor areas as needed, administer medications when required, and make sure pets receive the exercise, enrichment, affection, and companionship they have when you’re home. I pay close attention to body language, behavior changes, appetite, energy levels, and overall well-being. As a speech-language pathologist, communication is a big part of my professional life, and I bring that same attentiveness to the animals in my care. My availability is open! I prefer to watch your pet(s) in your home. If you leave me a schedule, including food, treats, play, and walk times, I will stick to that precisely. About: Hello there, I am a certified Veterinary technician, I have been in wildlife and small animal care for the past 14 years while dog sitting on the side. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and looking to find new clients! My previous experience includes zookeeping and wildlife rehabilitation in the Boston area for 7 years and then working for a professional dog sitting/hiking company in Medford MA for another 5 years. I moved to Pittsburgh to get my CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician license) in 2024, and now work at a lovely little small animal clinic. We met with her a couple of weeks before Max’s stay and she quickly put our minds at ease with how kind she is and you can tell how much she truly cares about the dogs she brings into her home. She explained how she would slowly introduce Max to the house and the other dogs which was nice to hear. During his stay we received daily updates and photos showing how our dog was fitting in. We could see he was having a great time! These updates were greatly appreciated. About: I’ve owned dogs for 30 years, including an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I have firsthand experience caring for medically complex, high-maintenance dogs and understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. After recently losing my Frenchie, I miss being around dogs, but I am not ready to own another one yet. I’d give your dog dependable, attentive care while enjoying their company. I’m retired, so my schedule is flexible. I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, companionship, and care they need. Pet care will easily fit into my daily and weekly routine. I’m also available during weekdays, when many pet owners are at work. In my home, dogs are family and welcome throughout the house. We have a securely fenced yard and a gated porch for safe outdoor time. I can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, or they are welcome to sleep in a bed if preferred.
