Mila is a very shy dog but Jean was willing to work with her (and us) to make sure she was comfortable staying away from us for a week-long vacation. She sent us daily updates to let us know that Mila was getting along well and actually enjoying herself! At the end of the week, Jean also let me know how things went over all. I am so happy we found her! You can tell that she (and her family) truly care for the dogs they look after and spoil them with love while their owners are away. “Our dog Poncho stayed with Chonlada for a week while we were on vacation and we could not take him with us. She was very flexible and agreeable to a meet & greet beforehand. Poncho and her dog Tokie were similar in size, age, and activity level so they seemed to get along great. She has a large fenced property for the dogs to explore and run around. I got daily updates as well as pictures and videos of Poncho, which made my family and I feel better about leaving him. Chonlada and her family took great care of Poncho (spoiled him...lol) and made sure he ate his meals and slept comfortably. They also comforted him during a thunder storm, which he does not like. Chonlada even contacted me when she noticed that Poncho was licking his paws and had a small abrasion, which she treated and monitored. “We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

We also make sure he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise, and we enjoy taking him along with us on walks, errands, and adventures whenever possible. About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with three wonderful dogs throughout my childhood, each teaching me something different about love, patience, and companionship. One of them was even a future seeing-eye dog. Although we only had him for about a year before he went on to begin his important work, it was incredibly rewarding to be part of his journey and to help prepare him for the life-changing role he would have. When my husband and I bought our first home, one of the very first things we did was adopt the sweetest girl named Kora. She filled our home with joy, laughter, muddy paw prints, and unconditional love for ten unforgettable years. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things we've ever done, but I wouldn't trade a single moment we had together. Because of these experiences, I know that dogs aren't "just pets"—they're family. Whether your dog loves long walks, endless games of fetch, belly rubs, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company, I'll care for them with the same patience, kindness, and attention I'd want someone to give my own. About: Hello! I love making new fur friends! I’ve been using rover for a few years now but took a break. I just started back on here and looking forward to meeting new clients! I am very dedicated to the wellbeing of animals, both mine and others. I got my first animal at age 11, lived 15 long years with me. Then, since the age of 13 I have taken care of animals that were not mine, normally for weeks at a time. I’ve bottle fed and fostered kittens. I’ve helped find homes for animals that would have otherwise been sheltered and I’ve rescued abandoned cats. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog who’s over 60lbs of muscle! I treat pets as family and would treat your animal just the same. A meet and greet is preferred so that both me and the dog are familiar with each other. If you are unsure what service to choose pick something and message me your needs so we can determine what works best and adjustments can be made :) I am willing to drive a distance depending on the service needed but please note that before confirming a booking, if the commute is long I may charge extra or have to decline. This would all be done in advance. Please keep in mind the weather when asking me to drive a long distance when say it’s icy or otherwise hazardous. Safety first :)! IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: About my schedule; I wish Rover would be more specific about time slots. I am available almost everyday at some point in the day. About: I have raised pets for years and nursed puppies and kittens of all ages. I personally have 1 dog and 4 cats currently. I’ve trained my own dogs to be well mannered and good tempered while making sure they have plenty of room for fun. “We needed to leave Roughy for 4 days. Mary and Dan were great. This was Roughy's first time staying with them. They have a huge fenced in yard that Roughy appeared to love. He isn't used to being off the leash. He ran around the yard barking at the cars going by (which were pretty far away) and got some good exercise. Although he was sad that we left him, Mary and Dan took great care of him and made him feel at home. They were willing to let him sleep in the bed with them which I think made him feel safe. They sent a picture or a video each day and were quick to keep in touch when we messaged them. He was happy to see us when we got back, but I think he had a good time with them and I would go back to them again.”

About: My husband and absolutely love dogs. We have a loving spacious home for him to run around in. I am always watching my parents or siblings dog and it’s always a blast to do so! My husband and I both work from home, so we’re able to spend a lot of time with our dog throughout the day. We take him on walks totaling at least 2 miles every day and love getting outside with him whenever we can. We also make sure he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and exercise, and we enjoy taking him along with us on walks, errands, and adventures whenever possible. We have a large dog who has his own bedroom with a full-size bed, which he absolutely loves! We also have two dog beds downstairs so he has plenty of comfortable places to relax throughout the house. Our back porch has a long leash where he can safely spend some time outside and enjoy the fresh air. He is no in the crate, but we do have a large crate in the basement available if needed.
