I’ve cat sat on occasion and I’m now on a mission to befriend every kitty. A few years ago, my family drove hours away to pickup a kitten that I saw on Craigslist. About: I’ve been a dog owner for 13 years (plus grew up with family dogs!) and when I cannot be home in time to take care of my own, I am stressed and worried. When I find someone to help care for my dog, I want them to take as much care as I would. So when I'm taking care of someone else's dog I will care for them the same way! If your dog has any special needs, I am very open to learning about them and want to know how I could best take care of them so both you and your dog are safe and happy.
“Georgette is the best! Mabel has so much fun when she stays with her so I don’t have to worry about anything (other than Mabel not wanting to leave at the end of her stay!)”

“Christie and Drew took the best care of our puppy, David! They were incredibly communicative throughout the day, sending the cutest pictures and updates, and made us feel so comfortable. They were responsive, flexible, and very easy to work with. We will definitely book their services again in the near future! Thanks for everything!”

“Maryori was 12/10! Not only did she take in Cooper last minute she was very sweet and accommodating. She kept me updated on Cooper the entire time. You won’t regret keeping your pup with her. This was the first time but it won’t be the last I book with her!”

About: NEW: The Chopperoni now accepts daycare guests! NEW: The Chopperoni now accepts dog walking requests! Welcome to The Chopperoni, a doggy homestay hotel located near Fishtown in Philly! ✨ Hello, dear humans and pupperonis! My name is Kira and I'm the head Chopperone at the Chopperoni, named so after my weiner boy Chopper. I'm a semi-retired programmer who works in app development and consulting. I work from home about 0-10 hours a week, which allows me to pursue pet-sitting as a full-time hobby! All profits go towards new toys, treats, and supplies. We welcome all pups 40lbs and under, and here's a list of what you can expect from your baby's stay with us: • 3-4 daily walks (more if needed) • Dogs welcome on all furniture and sleep in bed with me • 10-20 photos PER DAY • Playtime tailored to your dog's preferences and energy level • Plenty of cuddles and affection for dogs who enjoy them • Respectful space for independent, shy, or low-contact dogs • Playmates for maximum socialization! There are 3 resident dogs and I host up to 3 boarders at a time. We are either napping, going for a walk, playing, or sleeping together 🤣🤣🤣 • Meet and Greets are required to ensure all dogs get along! As a devoted dog mom, I know how hard it can be to leave your babies in someone else's care. But I'm here to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where both you and your pup can feel at ease. Thanks to being semi-retired, I'm pretty much around all day every day and can give the pups plenty of attention and companionship. They will enjoy 3–4 walks daily (or more if needed), along with dedicated playtime tailored to their individual personalities, energy levels, and preferences. All dogs are welcome on the furniture and are free to sleep in bed with me if they choose. Whether your pup loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax, I'll do my best to make them feel right at home! I've had two rescue dogs of my own since 2021, both of whom I adopted when they were 5–6 years old. My experience with dog care goes back even further, helping care for a family member's senior dog and was heavily involved in their daily routine. I'm especially experienced with senior dogs, administering medications, basic grooming, and caring for pups who may be anxious, independent, mildly grumpy, or simply prefer having their own space respected. At the same time, I'm active and energetic enough to keep up with younger dogs and those young at heart. I'm happy to match their energy level and make sure they get the physical and mental stimulation they need. I am home pretty much all the time! I have so much free time I can literally give the dogs my attention all day haha I only leave for 1-2 hours at a time to run my errands. My two-story apartment has 3 friendly dogs (1 tiny, 1 small, 1 medium) and all dogs are allowed to roam freely. The basement where my bedroom is has a big living space that's perfect for playing. There's a grassy patch of land across the street where we take the dogs for potty breaks, and we usually take the dogs to Norris Square for their walks.
“Quynh was phenomenal! Tango absolutely loved his stay. We received tons of pictures and messages throughout the day and it was great to see how much fun he was having with Quynh (especially in her yard)! Quynh was really great with communication and made the drop off / pick up process super easy. She took great care of him and she will be our go to for future doggy daycare services!”

About: I’m a dog dad myself, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I treat every dog in my care the same way I’d want someone to treat my own with patience, attention, affection, and respect for their individual routine and personality. I’ve cared for dogs for more than 10 years, from energetic younger dogs who need plenty of exercise and playtime to older dogs who need a little more patience and a slower pace. I’m comfortable with larger breeds, feeding routines, walks, basic medication, and following detailed care instructions. I’m dependable, attentive, and big on communication. I’ll keep you updated so you’re never wondering how your pet is doing. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Your dog won’t just be another booking on my schedule they’ll be treated like family while they’re with me. we can even discuss providing access to a pet camp so you can have full transparency and reassurance that your loved one as care for. I have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to make pet care part of my day rather than squeeze it in between other commitments. I’m already used to planning my day around my own dog, Leo, so walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention are part of my normal routine. I’m available throughout the week and can often accommodate different schedules with advance notice. I know how particular I am about who I trust with my own dog, so I take that responsibility seriously when someone trusts me with theirs. I follow each pet’s normal routine and their owner’s instructions closely, including feeding, walks, medications, and any house rules. I pay attention to the little things too like behavior, energy, appetite, and anything that seems out of the ordinary and I’ll always communicate with you. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, my goal is simple: keep them safe, comfortable, loved, and as close to their normal routine as possible.
About: I grew up on a farm so I’ve been caring for animals, big and small, my entire life. I currently have two small (nearly identical) dogs, Frannie and Banana. I work from home so it’s easy for me to give them plenty of walks, pets and love. I have a small backyard and live steps from Norris Square park. I’m the go-to auntie to all of my friends pets :) I am a freelancer who works from home. I have two small dogs who I walk 2-3 times a day plus outside time in our backyard. My schedule is flexible and I live steps from Norris Square park. I have a fenced in backyard with a potty area. Two small dogs who are friendly. I typically have them meet new dogs outside of the home before having them come in to avoid any territorial behavior. My dogs eat 3 small meals a day and we keep treats to a minimum due to Frannie’s sensitive stomach. There are plenty of toys and the dogs are never out of sight.
About: Pet Care Experience I’ve been a proud dog owner for over 16 years, caring for my beloved papillon, Terri. Through years of caring for my own pet and pet-sitting for friends and family, I understand how nerve-wracking it can feel to leave your pet with someone new. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, safe, and confident while you’re away. I offer long walks up to three times a day—morning, midday, and late afternoon—as well as house-sitting services in the local area. I take the time to learn your pet’s routines, habits, and favorite activities so they can stay happy, relaxed, and well cared for in their familiar environment. You can trust that your furry friend will be treated with the same care and attention I give my own. 🐾 I work remotely and my schedule is pretty flexible during the week and weekends. I typically plan up to three walks each day—morning, midday, and late afternoon. In My Home: I ensure my space is pet-friendly, with designated areas for play and relaxation. I maintain a routine that includes regular feeding times and walks . I also keep fresh water available at all times and monitor for any signs of discomfort or illness. In Clients’ Homes: I follow the specific care instructions provided by the pet owner, which includes feeding schedules, preferred activities, and any medications. I focus on maintaining the pet’s routine to minimize stress. I also provide regular updates to the owner, sharing photos and messages to keep them informed.

About: I grew up with dogs and have a deep love for animals. My partner, Jeff and I adopted our dog Miso in early 2025, so we know from experience the “puppy blues” that can come with a new addition. We already have repeat clients and frequently dog-sit for friends, coworkers, and neighbors. We have experience caring for senior dogs, as well as post-spay care and administering medications from caring for own pup. Jeff and I both work full time on flexible hybrid schedules, so there will always be someone home during your dog’s stay. Our pup’s routine includes potty breaks in the morning, afternoon, evening, and one final outing before bed. Your dog will follow the same schedule unless they require a more specialized routine or level of care — we’re happy to accommodate their needs! Dog park visits are a regular occurrence as well. We don’t have a fenced yard, but our neighborhood is very dog-friendly with plenty of green space for your pup to explore and sniff to their heart’s content. Miso is crate-trained, and we also have additional crates available if your dog is more comfortable being crated as well.

“I am so relieved to have found someone who was able to connect with my 20 month old 110 lb white Shepard. Kimba has a traumatic history and I have worked really hard to rehab him mentally since adopting him a few months ago. He immediately took to Anthony and put his fear-based aggression aside. Anthony constantly sent me updates with photos and followed all my requests to keep Kimba on his daily routine. I highly recommend Anthony to care for your dog.”

“Chelsea has really rescued Libra and me. I had emergency spine surgery. At the same time, my dog walker went on a trip that she had planned for 6 months. I was in desperate need of dog walking for my very active GSD/Belgian Malinois. At the last minute, over the holidays, Chelsea agreed to walk Libra for 60 min. Libra loves her. She usually barks crazily when people walk in the hall. Very quickly, Libra learned when Chelsea was expected and waited for her near the door excitedly but quietly. Best of all, Libra takes a nice long nap when she comes home. Thank you Chelsea!!”

“Timothy did a great job walking Puddin’! Puddin mentioned that Timothy communicated very well, was always on time, and he felt comfortable and confident on his walks.”

About: I have four dogs of my own: two 70lb golden retrievers, one 4lb chihuahua, and one 15lb mutt. I've grown up working with animals at shelters and have even done my own rescue missions and adopted them out. My family dog lived for 15 beautiful years and had many health issues in her last few years of life. This gave me experience in administering medications and knowledge of how to care for elderly animals and respecting their schedules. I love walking dogs and taking them for hikes as well. I've never walked a cat before but I'm sure it's about the same! I'm all for caring for other pets and overnight stays (no worries about my four, the hubby will be home to care for them.)

Luna was in the best hands, and I loved receiving regular updates and pictures. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was so well cared for. I highly recommend Cindy ❤️”

“Kelsey & Conor were amazing with George!! He settled in immediately with their two dogs, Brody and Beans, and had the best week ever. Daily walks, constant play, and by the end he was lounging on their furniture like he owned the place. They sent photos and updates without us having to ask, and were very flexible with drop-off and pickup over a busy holiday week. He came home happy and completely worn out. Could not recommend them more!!”

“Hali was very communicative and attentive to my dogs. If you need someone to watch them like you would watch your own, she’s the one you want! She also sent pictures to keep us at ease.”

“Michael and Adelie were amazing. They watched my dog for 9 days and were great with communication and daily updates. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in their care. They were very kind, flexible and accommodating and genuinely love dogs and care for them.”

“Ciara did a nice job taking care of Chai. She sent lots of photos. Our dog gets anxious the first time in a new place so I know the first time is a bit harder, and she handled it well”

“Wow! We are so happy that we chose Gabriella to be our dog’s new sitter! Kiko acclimated to her home immediately. He even ate on the first day! We thought he would not have eaten for a few days. Kiko loved his long daily walks in the park! He loved being part of her family! Kiko is looking forward to his next visit!”

“Milissa is so communicative! Always sending updated & pictures which makes us feel so comfortable leaving Louie in her care. We will continue to rebook with her!!”
