Our original plans were for just boarding our little dog (which they did armirably!), but we couldn’t find anyone to care for our cats, or to provide medication to one with diabetes. Wellsiree, they went above and beyond, and kept us up to date with daily updates in photo and video. Our little dog adored staying with them, she got lots of cuddles and lots of exercise! And our cats were so well looked after they were spoiled rotten. We can’t say enough great things about this wonderful couple. About: I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments from both owning them and volunteering at shelters. I have worked for other companies dog sitting both for overnight stays and for daily visits. I will provide compassionate care for your pet as well as fast paced walks to make sure the pups are tired and comfortable until you come home or my next visit. I am patient and allow dogs to come to me when they are comfortable doing so. I am otherwise self employed and work from home / make my own schedule, so I only leave the house for appointments some days and for limited time. I have a friendly and emotionally mature 5 yr old cattle dog mix who loves to spend time in our fenced yard or on walks, especially with other dogs! If you prefer drop ins or walks at your house I can leave him home, or do a mini pack walk and bring him only if preferred.

I enjoy cats as well, I don't own any but I have taken care of a neighbor's cat multiple times and I have numerous friends who own cats that I enjoy being around. I'm currently a student and I will be doing clinical rotations at hospitals this summer so I am not available every day, however they only take place 3 days a week so I am completely free 4 days a week and have some limited time after clinicals one day. About: I have Taken care of my family dog my entire life and overnight pet sit for many families in the past. I have worked with all types of dogs I am available all weekend and all of the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am also available in the evenings of Monday Wednesday and Friday. I would not be able to take your pet into my own home but I know the area well and I can walk dogs where they are needed.

Open to different wake-up schedules, and odd hours as needed. I understand that often pets need specific and special attention! Boarding: My apartment complex is very pet friendly. The community offers dedicated bathroom areas, plenty of grass, fenced-in play areas, and a doggie daycare on-site. We also are located near several trails - perfect for scenic walks. I like to do a long walk in the early morning to start, dedicated playtime mid-day, sprinkling in potty breaks during day/late evening. At your home: I can plan around you/your dogs schedule. Just name a date/time and agreed upon logistics and I can be flexible. I don’t have a car, so Fairmount/Logan Sq/Center City area is preferred, however open to discussion. I anticipate that their food will be provided, with any necessary restrictions to be communicated in advance. Light cooking can be provided as needed. Please let me know the portioning you desire as well. I also love cuddling and giving extra love to dogs, if yours is stand-offish or highly reactive, I can adjust accordingly. “Fran & Curtis were fantastic. They were strong, clear, and prompt communicators. We did a meet & greet so that they could get a sense of Bailey and I could get to know them. Then, during our dog's stay, Fran & Curtis sent us messages with photos to keep us posted. They are active and wonderful caregivers of Bailey - they did lots of walks and activities that kept her busy. I know she was well-loved and cared for while we were gone!”

She sent photos and kept me updated as well. She pampered him more than I do myself, lol! I had a delay in picking him up, and she accommodated the change in pickup time.
