My dog is epileptic and he ensured that he had the medicine, correct directions, and contacts for local veterinarians and friends of Maya in case something were to occur. Before leaving Maya there for a week, I visited him and his dog Tonka to see how comfortable Maya would be in his home. Although at first there was a lot of barking and Maya being aggressive, once inside, Maya calmed down. By the middle of the trip, Douglas let me know that they became friends which was great because I've been meaning to get Maya accustomed to being around other dogs. Douglas was a great dog sitter and I highly recommend him to anyone else! He provides daily updates too making my trip even better knowing that my best friend is being taken cared of really well. About: I have always felt comfortable caring for cats especially for the strays I used to see in my neighborhood, it wasn’t until 2 years ago where I adopted my first cat (Michu) and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I was always skeptical because I was very allergic to them growing up but overtime my body became tolerant to different pets. Every day I’m still learning something new about my cat but I have learned how to gain the trust of them simply by being calm and caring with them.

About: I've had a family dog for 6 years now and I love taking care of her, she means the world to me. I've also cared for neighbors' dogs for both single days and overnight multiple days. I enjoy cats as well, I don't own any but I have taken care of a neighbor's cat multiple times and I have numerous friends who own cats that I enjoy being around. I'm currently a student and I will be doing clinical rotations at hospitals this summer so I am not available every day, however they only take place 3 days a week so I am completely free 4 days a week and have some limited time after clinicals one day. Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

“Hardy and his daughter Harmony could not have been more accommodating for Opie's first overnight stay. After a boarding situation I had fell through for my newly adopted Husky mix I needed last minute coverage (about a week out) for a short international trip. Hardy and Harmony were able to accommodate us for an extremely early drop-off because of a flight/airport situation and were super cool about it. I got regular picture and video updates throughout her few day stay, and got to meet and chat with Hardy during pickup. My pup is crate trained and having someone who is able to accommodate that and keep her consistent while I'm away is integral to making sure she stays successful with it. Hardy is super knowledgeable about dogs and thoughtful about who he schedules together to ensure everyone is chill and as the owner of a high energy guardian mix, that gives me a lot of relief knowing my girl won't be on edge the whole time I'm gone. If you're in the area and considering Hardy please do not hesitate to book. He truly takes care of your animals as if they were his own. Also, in my short time with my new pup I haven't seen her half as happy and worn out as she was when I picked her up ... like others reviews have mentioned and I will definitely concur, Hardy is a dog whisperer! Have a wedding coming up in a couple months and am already working with Hardy to rebook because of what a positive, easy and affordable experience we had our first time around. “My husband and I were very skeptical to leave our fur baby with a total stranger at first. But, if anyone is like us, "NO ONE" watches our baby Knox except our son, who is now away at school. However, after reading the reviews about how caring, patient, and flexible LyLy is it was definitely worth giving her a chance. We also requested to have a 1st meet-up with her prior to making a decision. After the visit, my husband and I noticed how amazing her connection to animals was and her calm demeanor. Knox seemed very happy to meet LyLy and allowed her to walk and play with him, which solidified it for us. Therefore, his first visit with her was for 4 nights from October 6 through October 10th. We loved getting updates from LyLy to see Knox was happy, excited and having fun playing with other dogs, her children, and going on long walks. Her kiddos had a great time with him as well. We loved the interaction her family gave to our fur baby. 3rd time leaving our boy with LyLy and he loves it there!! We can honestly say Knox is truly happy having LyLy as his dog sitter. We will book with her in the near future. Thanks to our sitter, LyLy for taking great care of our boy, Knox.”
