“We highly recommend Mary Rose. We have a senior cat with hyperthyroidism, inflammatory bowel disorder, and asthma, so getting his medication right is extremely important. She handled his care with no problems at all and followed his medical routine with confidence and precision. Our cat is also quite shy with new people, but she was able to build a connection with him. We received plenty of photos showing him enjoying petting and grooming time, which was very reassuring while we were away. She also provided detailed daily reports that truly put our minds at ease. It is clear she has both a deep love for animals and strong knowledge of their care. We would not hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter.”

About: Hello pet parents! I'm Danni and I absolutely love everything about dogs. They're so cute, sweet and playful! I've had a dog all my life until recently (apartment restrictions) and they have been various sizes and breeds. I have also been a dog walker and sitter for a company that gave me experience handling and interacting with shelter and elderly dogs; I also have experience giving oral tablet medication at specified times. I understand that not every dog has come from a happy home and I will put an effort into earning their trust (I've done so with two shelter dogs with severe anxiety and I love them) because I know that it will mean so much in the long run. Other than long walks on sunny days, I love playing with your pup's favorite toy and fetch is my favorite game. I can't wait to meet your furry friend! “This was the first time I had someone outside of my family coming to take care of my cats, plus my mom would be home and she has Parkinsons Dementia so I was REALLY nervous but Haley was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly with my Mom and the family that was here taking care of her, she was really good with my non-friendly cats as well, the pictures she sent me of River had me cracking up. I got pictures of clean litter boxes and full food/water bowls as well, so I know the job was getting done. I will absolutely be reaching out to Haley again for my pet needs when I go away next. She was wonderful, 1000% recommended!!”

About: Hi, I'm Amy! I'm a 27-year-old graduate student with a master's degree in counseling, and I'm excited to provide reliable, compassionate care for your pets. As a lifelong animal lover, I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I have two corgis that I raised from puppies, giving me hands-on experience with high-energy working breeds, puppy training, and caring for adult dogs. I'm comfortable walking dogs that are reactive, strong pullers, or need a patient, confident handler. I also have experience caring for a variety of small animals, including birds, rats, ferrets, and reptiles. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, playtime, or simply someone dependable to keep them company, I'll treat them with the same care and attention I'd want for my own pets. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered and scaly!) family members. I currently offer weekend-only availability for dog walks and drop-in visits. While my weekday schedule is dedicated to work, I love spending my weekends caring for pets and making sure they get the exercise, attention, and companionship they deserve. If you're looking for a reliable weekend sitter or walker, I'd love to meet you and your pet! I take special care to make sure I follow all of the instructions left by pet parents. All things needed to walk/care for your dog will be placed back in a neatly fashion when I leave and I will ensure the home looks as good as when I arrived.

“My labradoodle puppy Guinness is always so happy to see Roseanna and her family for a bit of doggy daycare, and they’ve even accepted him into their home for the day with little notice! He is always still happy when I go pick him up after a day of playing with them, and all the dogs. In addition to that we’ve gotten great tips and feedback from Roseanna. Guinness can’t wait for his next stay! Thank you!”

“We did a trial stay with Gabriella before leaving our dog for a week in November. Kira was walked twice, had lunch, a nap and went on a little car ride. She was very happy when she got home. Gabriella was wonderful with her and it makes us feel much less anxious about leaving her.”

“Shannon is fabulous! So kind and gentle with my somewhat anxious little pup. A very inviting environment that works well for my Lucy, plus a fenced in yard! (I’m kind of thinking I shouldn’t leave this review. I don’t want her to be booked the next time Lucy needs to be watched…)”

“Maryori was 12/10! Not only did she take in Cooper last minute she was very sweet and accommodating. She kept me updated on Cooper the entire time. You won’t regret keeping your pup with her. This was the first time but it won’t be the last I book with her!”

About: I’ve had the joy of raising and caring for a Cavachon for two years, which gave me hands-on experience with the daily ups and downs of dog parenthood—feeding, training, walks, and lots of playtime. Due to personal reasons, the pup now lives with my former partner, but I truly cherish that time and all the lessons it taught me about patience, consistency, and unconditional love. I’ve always dreamed of owning another dog of my own again soon, but in the meantime, I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for yours. I know how hard it is for pet parents to leave their pups at home, and I can never resist those puppy eyes either. That’s why I promise to give your dog the love, comfort, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. I’m a recent college graduate from Drexel University and currently searching for a full-time role, which gives me extra flexibility in my schedule. Caring for dogs is not just a side hustle for me—it’s a passion. I have plenty of time during weekdays and on weekends to devote my full attention to your pup, making sure they get the love, playtime, and exercise they deserve. Drop-in visit might works the best for me:) Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first. I live in a safe environment and can adjust easily to your pup’s needs—whether that means crate training, sticking to their feeding schedule, or providing lots of play and snuggles. Having cared for a Cavachon myself, I understand the ups and downs of pet parenting, and I know how important it is for you to feel at ease while away. I’ll make sure your furry friend feels loved, secure, and happy until you’re back home.

“Hardy and his daughter were absolutely amazing with Ziggy! From the very first moment, they made sure Ziggy felt safe, comfortable, and right at home. Hardy was so communicative — he called me with updates and sent pictures throughout the stay, which gave me total peace of mind. About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, primarily cats but dogs and fish as well. Most other animals I put extensive research into the care of when considering owning them, and I would be more than happy to use that knowledge to give your animals the best care possible. I am currently working on continuing my education, so having a way to cover my bills that allows me a flexible schedule doing something I love seemed the perfect fit. Raising my own cat, Tabitha, from a kitten to be a very social, outgoing, sweet girl who loves going for harness walks has left me with a healthy appreciation of how well it works if you treat an animal with respect and expect the same. That being said, house rules come first, and I will make sure to enforce them in your absence.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life and love every type breed and size. I am the go to friend when a friend needs someone to come let their dogs out or watch them over a weekend. I have a 3 year old Pitt/Staffy that I rescued when he was very young. I work a typical 8-5 M-F for now as I just relocated here. If needing days covered outside my availability, given it would be a good fit and pickup/dropoff works with my schedule, I can try to accommodate. I block off any time I’ll be out of town and mainly just hang at home with my own pitty otherwise. We go on daily walks for the needed exercise and energy burn. My apartment has no yard but we have a great neighborhood to walk in and I have a lot of space as it’s three bedrooms. We have a dog park I go to for walks frequently and visit other outdoor dog parks and hiking trails. I have an extra crate if it’s needed and lots of toys.

About: Growing up with dogs has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Almost 50 and a Red Irish Setter, two Labradors, a Beagle mix, a Pitbull, and currently a Staffordshire Bull Terrier have all claimed a piece of my heart. As a child, I was a neighborhood pet sitter for a dog and a cat that lived nearby. More recently, I pet-sitted a trio of dogs for a neighbor, and had multiple overnight week-long stays with a former co-worker. I'm a freelance photographer with a very flexible schedule and look forward to taking care of more neighborhood pets. Whether you need a drop-in visit or a walker, no matter the weather, I'd like to be there for your furry friend As a freelance photographer, my schedule is very flexible. I can pick up and go as needed. I walk my dog in the morning, afternoon, and evening each day. I don't have children, so that leaves plenty of time to care for my dog and others. I live in a walkable neighborhood with sidewalks, have a big yard for potty breaks, and am close to the paved path and wooded trails of Pennypack Park for more adventurous excursions. I can accommodate dogs with personality quirks, since my dog has a few. Whether you need a pop-in visit, a walk in your neighborhood, or a trip to the park, I'm happy to oblige. My car has a seat cover, and dog passengers can be buckled in for safety. I love taking pictures, so you can expect updates on how your pet is doing.

“Danielle has been great! She walks my chihuahua/terrier puppy 4 days a week and handles my 8 year old Tree Walker Coonhound with care. Danielle is always responsive and has always been flexible when things came up.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10 or 11, and that's when I also started working on a ranch. Until about 2019 I took care of dogs, chickens, horses, and cats. Animals are a very important part of my life and I'm very good at taking care of them. Taking care of pets is a full-time job, but it's one that I've enjoyed my entire life. I take care of animals in some way everyday and everywhere I've gone. Everything in my house is pet proof and I have hardwood floors just in case there are any accidents. There are gated off and inaccessible areas that the cats can get into but the dogs can't. Everybody has a space. I also have a fenced in yard for them to explore. I live in a very nice neighborhood as well, so it's a safe area to walk the dogs.
“Dana was excellent with my dog! She was prompt, had good communication, has a somewhat flexible schedule and followed the routine I asked. I highly recommend Dana and will be having her care for Buck again.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have about 9 years of hands-on pet care experience, including previous experience caring for pets through Rover. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from playful puppies to seniors who need a little extra patience and TLC. I’m dependable, attentive, and big on keeping pets as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I’m stopping in for feeding and playtime, taking your dog for a walk, or spending some extra time keeping them company, I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I also know how much peace of mind good communication gives pet parents, so you can expect updates and plenty of pictures while your pet is with me! I currently work in healthcare and have a schedule that allows me to plan pet care around my shifts\. I keep my Rover calendar updated with my availability and am happy to accommodate walks, drop\-in visits, and vacation care whenever my schedule allows\. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so once I commit to a booking, you can count on me to be there! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as I can about their normal routine, personality, health needs, feeding schedule, medications, walking habits, and any quirks or triggers I should know about. I follow each owner’s instructions closely and do my best to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible while you’re away. I’m also respectful of your home and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know how your pet is doing.

I have personally have given medicines in case you baby needs a little extra love. I love cuddling, playing and just enjoy time with these babies. If you have cats as well as dogs I have no problem taking care of them as well. I also have experience with dogs that are energized like a lab and dogs that have anxiety like my Chihuahua. I am here to help and make sure your babies are well taken care of. I currently work a full time job but I have a flexible schedule so there is plenty of time for playful pups and lovable cats. I do not board animals because of my currently living situation. I also believe it is better for the pets to remain in their own environment for a pet sitting.

“Jacqueline and Jim treated my pup and loved her like their own! As it was my 60-lb Golden Retriever’s first time at a house with a cat, I set up a meet and greet and I could tell my dog felt right at home. Jacqueline was super communicative and warm prior to and during the boarding process. I could tell by the photos that my dog was comfortable and I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come back with me! I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough and will definitely board my dog at her place again.”

“I’m just not sure where to start to express my LOVE FOR LIZZY!!!!❤️❤️❤️I was new to Roover and my furbaby Zeus had never been outside of his home without me😩. Lizzy calmed my anxiety so well. She was so warm and inviting and even allowed for us to do a brief meeting a few weeks before our boarding time was set to start. Zeus absolutely loves Lizzy…. She took care of my baby for 5 days. I looked forward the picture updates I was get from Lizzy, she did a wonderful job setting my mind at ease. I will certainly be booking with Lizzy for all our boarding needs.❤️”

“My two big puppies (cattledog/terrier mix and golden retriever) can be a handful but Leanne and her family managed them with ease. I am grateful to know that we have a new sitter (since ours moved away) that we trust and that the dogs love! I got daily photos and video and the dogs were happy and relaxed when we pulled up to greet them at the end of our trip. We will be using Leanne again a few times this summer and in the years to come for sure!”

“This review is long overdue!! Douglas took such amazing care of Charlie for me while I was away. I was extremely nervous since it was my first time traveling without him but knowing that Douglas was taking care of him and staying in constant communication with me really helped calm those nerves. Couldn’t have asked for better experience”
“Cindy was very flexible with scheduling and allowing Duke to have a meet and greet prior to our scheduled boarding. Cindy also shared photos and videos during the stay.”

“Kerry was a dream! My boy is sweet and very much a "people" dog. He was attacked before the rescue folks picked him up, so he's a bit reactive if he feels unsafe. Kerry was kind, attentive, and sweet on my boy. We will 100% use her services again. I cannot recommend her enough.”
