“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”
“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! We will definitely be calling again to have them watch our little fur baby!”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I am currently taking care of my mom who has dementia 24/7 and I am home with her all day. The only days I'm out the house is when my mom or myself have a doctor's appointment. The time I have during the day, I can do dog walks and drop by to feed and let your dog out to your yard. I currently have a chiwawa mix dog name Romeo and he is fed, taken out for walks and sleeps on my sofa everyday. He is encouraged to play, fetch and have treats as rewards. I work in the office few times a week; however, work is only a mile away so I come home for an hour lunch break at noon (Schedule is 8-5). My husband works overnight (remote) and sleeps for few hours in the early mornings then takes the dogs for a walk later in the afternoon. We are typically home during the weekends with few hours here and there for errands. There will never be a time we are gone for more than 4 hours at a time. I have walking trails in the area to walk your dogs within my community. I have a small backyard for small dogs or seniors; if walks are not part of their daily routine. If they enjoy car rides I am happy to take them on small local trails or a local doggy park. I have 2 loving chihuahuas who will keep your baby/babies company. My boys are crate trained, but I am flexible with your needs. I am happy to crate or not crate based on your preference.

About: I’ve had experience working with my own zoo of animals ranging from reptiles, to small animals, to birds, and of course cats. I also have experience with dogs with plenty of experience administering medication to a wide range of animals. I’ve also worked at a kennel for 2 summers walking dogs. As a full-time High School Teacher, my availability opens up significantly in the summers. Lucky for all of us, that’s usually when everyone wants to enjoy the weather! Depending on the situation, I can be very accommodating and flexible for whatever you and your pet needs. My wife and I have our own zoo of animals ranging from reptiles and amphibians, to rabbits, to fish, to birds, and of course cats. While we are getting ready to purchase our first home together before we add a doggy to the mix, I have years of personal experience with dogs, with some professional experience working at a pet inn. Every night I spend at least 30 minutes tending to the care of our various animals, checking in on them and documenting feedings while taking note on any physical changes or abnormalities. The cats of course get more attention and more feedings, usually about 4 small meals spread throughout the day ranging from dry food to various wets foods.

They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! My pups were there for 9 days, I got updated daily with videos. I never felt like they were just in a pen or kennled and they were treated like one of her own. They got daily bike rides, and if the dogs acted strange (with anxiety) she reached out immediately to make sure she could make the dog feel better. Never once was I worried about them.
