I currently work from home with my 1 small senior dog (under 10 pounds) in the house. In the past, I have had Labrador Retrievers and a Viszla. All have been rescues. In recent years, I was heavily involved in a senior dog rescue and fostered a wide variety of dogs. Many of the dogs had supplemental needs, requiring additional care. This included strict medication schedules, teaching blind dogs to navigate their surroundings, teaching dogs with special needs to learn confidence and better mobility, and even one from a hoarding situation that needed to completely learn socialization skills and how to walk on grass! Your dog will be completely pampered and showered with affection during the time we are together. Your dog will be treated like a royal guest! We have plenty of large windows to look out and soft couches to relax on. We even have stools at each couch for our smaller guests to get up and down easily! :) If your pup prefers alone time, we have plenty of doggie beds for them to choose from. About: I’ve had a lifetime of caring for a wide range of animals. Particularly dogs and horses but all creatures welcome. Good with body language and attentive to animals needs. I’m an avid hiker and love taking dogs for walks. 💕 I work part time from home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. I rarely host multiple families of dogs at one time (might be some overlap on pickup/drop off days) and prefer to focus on a quality experience for the dog over multiple bookings. Your pet will not be left unattended for extended periods of time during the day. I take the responsibility of caring for your animal seriously. I live in a rural area on a road with very little traffic. We have two horses, chickens and two dogs on our 14 acre property. I do not have a fenced area and use tie outs for porch lounging and hand walking for potty runs. Your pet will have access to the main floor of my house (no stairs) including furniture (if allowed). The ability to change the floor plan also allows to separate animals if beneficial.

My dogs are named Norbert and Newt, and they are both some big ole lovers. Growing up without pets in the house, I was always trying to bring friends' pets home! I also dog-sat for one particular family in high school and I loved it. Pet-sitting for me is all the joys of owning a dog only on a part-time basis. I would love to help you and your furry family out in your time of need! Be it for vacation, a new baby, work, or anything else, I can fill in. My longest running regular client used me nearly every weekend in good weather so she could skydive! This lasted almost two years until I moved out of the area. She had 5 hounds and a puppy hound! (I actually delivered the puppies. 😳) I have somewhat flexible availability to take dogs on walks, visit your home, or check in on your pet. I am also available some nights and weekends to dog sit in your home or bring your pet to my home. I have my basement set up for my dogs to have the run of it - it is the coolest part of the house and completely dog friendly! My dogs hang there while I'm at work, then we go for walks as soon as I get home. I would love to meet you and your pet in person to determine if we'd be a good fit! I currently work for the Beaver County Humane Society and I am loving it! My schedule is somewhat flexible, but I always have time for new clients and meet and greets. My pets get the best I can for them, and I feel like I work mostly so I can pay for their food and supplements, lol. I try to walk and play with them as much as they can, and my cats have their own bedroom with a baby gate so they can get away from the dogs if they want to.

About: I grew up with a border collie, and used to sit for numerous friends dogs. I absolutely adore dogs, and I am experienced in administering medication to them as well. I have an 8 month mini labradoodle puppy, so I have plenty of experience with potty training. I currently work two overnights a week, so I am available during the week, and will always have availability for a short notice sit, as I know sometimes things come up. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have numerous runners and will always be outside to make sure your dog is safe and has water. I currently have a mini labradoodle that I adore. She loves dogs, and is on a leash as well. My top goal is for your puppy to feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home!
