About: Hi!! My name is Shana, I have 4 fur-babies of my own that my husband & I treat like our kids. We Celebrate their birthdays, get presents for Christmas and go on vacation with us. They have their own room and beds. My pups have lots of toys so you don’t have to worry about bringing any, as we can share!! While in my care, your dog's safety and well-being is my priority. Your pet will have lots of play time in my backyard. I am available to provide specific dietary and care needs. He showed me a lot of how to deal with reactive dogs, especially on walks and dealing with strangers who may not get that their dog may be friendly, but yours may need that extra space to be comfortable. I now also own two cats, adopted from the local shelter Paws and they have become my life. They are very clingy but also shy towards strangers. So I also very understand if you own some shy cats, I would love them just the same! I currently live all year in State College, work full time but still have plenty of time for my cats and still have more time for others. Just let me know 24 hours ahead or more and it can happen! I am fully comfortable crating all kinds of dogs, walking any breed, or dealing with any shy temperamental cat. About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I grew up with three wonderful dogs throughout my childhood, each teaching me something different about love, patience, and companionship. One of them was even a future seeing-eye dog. “We keep coming back whenever we need care for Rocky. We don’t want to leave him with anyone else. Emanuel is very caring and Rocky is excited every time he is visiting Emanuel. Rocky gets a lot of love, plays with other dogs inside the house and outside during the walks and in the beautiful backyard. We get updates, pictures, videos and messages to see how much fun Rocky has during his stay. Great communication. Would recommend to anyone who wants great care for their furry friend.”
“Jim is a great sitter and you can tell he really cares about the dogs he watches. I was referred to Jim and know a few people who bring their dogs for him as well. Being a pet owner it’s the greatest relief to know your dogs are being well cared for and see your dog immediately trust him. He also updates you with photos so you know what they’re up to. “Our regular doggie caregiver was unavailable for our three day trip so we decided to book with Nan. She and her family were wonderful with our Shih-Poo, Nixie! We received pictures and updates regularly, which eased my mind greatly. Nixie definitely fit in with the family as I saw pictures of her being held, on laps, and on walks.
