About: I am an animal lover and I have always had pets. The past few years I have been saving lives and fostering with One By One Reacue! I am currently on a foster break since I have 4 dogs of my own but help run the rescue in other ways. I am lucky enough to work from home and be with my pets all day. They stay in the general area I am when I work. Since I have 4 dogs of my own, I would like to provide boarding at my house. I am in a town house and I have movable metal fencing for my dogs. I never leave them outside alone. When I do have to run to the store or have plans for the day (usually no more than 8 hours) I have a furbo that I check in on them throughout the day. I also gate off my stairs so no one can use them (or fall down, I had a blind dog and watch one) when I am not there.

“Christy has watched Peach throughout her entire life; sometimes it was a weekly basis, a few times she watched her at a last minute Emergency notice, and had even boarded her over a long weekend. Peach isn't a big fan of humans but loves going to Christy's, getting to visit with her friends. Peach loves her dog Louie and playing with the other pups that she takes care of. I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. About: I’ve taken care of small animals since I was a kid. I was always the student who volunteered to take the class pet home for extended breaks from school. Some of the animals I cared for included leopard geckos, hamsters, and Guinea pigs! I have loved animals ever since 😊 Besides class pets, I grew up babysitting my Aunt’s dog, Oscar, whenever she went on vacation or needed some extra help. I got my first dog when I was 12 and he’s still living with us today. I am offering all services for small to medium sized dogs. I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs. I have additional experience with doodles, king cavalier spaniels, dauschunds, pitbulls, and pugs. I am currently studying to take my physical therapy board examination so I will my schedule is flexible. About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter! I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with LOTS of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing and helping with medical care, years of volunteer work with multiple animal shelters, 20+ years of pet ownership myself and a few years of professional sitting experience both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle. I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations. I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area along with Pet Sitting and drop-ins during the day. Most jobs take me away from the home 4-6 hours at a time, the absolute longest I will/ever have left pets during the day is 8 hours, but that is rare and discussed/agreed upon with pet parents before booking. Constant care (any let that cannot be left alone 2-4 hours at a time) is available at an increased rate of 2.5x my normal daily rate. I am experienced and comfortable with oral medications and subcutaneous injections and administer meds with care, compassion and confidence. Injections do incur a small extra cost to service ($5/injection) for increased risk and expertise. I am clean, responsible, professional and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, for the safety, individualized care and comfort of all of us (me, you and your pet babies.) As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings and am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible. I will clean litter boxes daily, change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I do house-sitting and drop-ins throughout the Pittsburgh area, as well as a few short housekeeping jobs throughout the week. For house-sitting I make your home my "base" and am in and out throughout the day if I have other jobs scheduled, normally gone about 4-6 hours at a time. I am very open and communicative about my schedule with pet parents and spend the majority of my days with your pet and always stay overnight. If I don't have other jobs scheduled during the day than I am spending my day with your babies, same as you would! I do offer constant care with enough notice to block out my schedule, at an increased rate of 2.5x my daily price to cover lost wages from my daytime bookings. In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I ask lots of questions at the meet and greet and keep extensive notes on each pet that I keep on file and can be updated regularly/are available for all current and future bookings.

I have two girls 5 and 10, who both love dogs like I do, they are at school during the day (camp in the summer) but the are very knowledgable when it comes to the proper way to handle dogs/puppies and when to back off from a dog that might be scared or uncomfortable. They have been plenty of dogs-all sizes, I included a few pictures of them in my profile as well. I also have a 2 year old Shih Tzu named Fancy, she is adorable and great with other dogs, we like to go for long walks during the day. We can't wait to meet and make new furry friends. About: I’ve had a lifelong love for animals and grew up surrounded by dogs and cats. Now, I’m lucky enough to have one of each of my own! I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own, providing them with plenty of love, care, and attention while making sure both you and your pets have the best experience possible. I currently work from home in the Robinson Township area, which gives me the flexibility to care for your pets throughout the day. I’d love to help with morning, lunchtime, or evening visits and make sure your pets get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. I’m happy to help with whatever your pets need, whether that means taking your dog for a walk, playing a game of fetch, giving plenty of belly rubs and cuddles, or keeping your cat’s litter box clean and fresh. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or instructions you have to help your pets feel comfortable and cared for. About: Hello! I'm a lifelong animal lover and teach for an educational non-profit organization in Pittsburgh. I grew up on a farm so I'm no stranger to dogs and cats (and horses, cows, sheep, etc.)! I have a mini-dachshund, Bijou -- truly the sweetest little pup. Whether you'd like to have your pet stay with us in my home with a fenced yard, or if you'd prefer I come to you, I look forward to caring for your dog or cat.
