About: I have 4 dogs of my own and I’ve had dogs for 30 years of my life. I’m experienced with special needs as well since I have had dogs with various disabilities. This includes experience with senior dogs and medications I am currently in nursing school and have a flexible schedule! Your pup can get as much play time and outside time as they need! About: Hi there! I work from home my two available days a week, which means your dog gets 24/7 companionship, frequent backyard potty breaks, and mid-day snuggles on the couch. I grew up with dogs, and I have experience with everything from puppies to seniors. I am experienced with medication administration, limited mobility, and managing separation anxiety. I have a large crate in case your dog is crate-trained, but as I work from home they will just be hanging with me on the couch or dog bed - wherever they are more comfortable. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs. About: I don’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had with a dog was with a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite my lack of experience I am willing to learn. My love for animals in general is why I am open to learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter. I am relatively new to Rover specifically, but am in my 40's and have cared for other people's pets for over 15 years, both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle where I am originally from. I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with lots of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days, but quite often it's only 4-6 hours that i am working. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.

Their dog, Eli, became a new fur friend to our pup, Ruby and the photos and videos they shared while we were away gave us peace of mind. They were also accommodating as we had to change our drop off and pick up times. We will definitely be booking them again!”
“Amy was so accommodating! This was Kerrigan’s first stay with her, let alone Kerrigan’s first time away from us. Amy took time to visit with Kerrigan prior to her stay over the weekend. About: Hi!! My name is Taylor, and I am a very passionate animal lover:) I have two Frenchies and am an experienced foster Mom through East Coast Bulldog Rescue. I own a local cleaning company, and the best part of my job is all the pets I get to see! I grew up with cats and absolutely adore them. I am experienced with animals with medical needs, senior pets, I can administer any and all medication, and am not scared of a lengthy specific routine:) I am a brachycephalic dog specialist, so any dog or cat is in good hands with me. I treat every animal like they are my own, so cuddles and attention are to be expected when your pet is in my care. I own a local business, but due to my amazing employees I work 5 hours a week or less. Animals are my life, so a typical day for me revolves around hanging out with my pups and relaxing on our balcony/playing with their toys/going for walks! I live in a big two story home, but have fences at the stairs to prevent any pups going up or down unattended. I do not have a fenced in yard, but my next door neighbor does (they have no kids or pets), and I have full access to that yard. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and love to push my pups in their stroller in the evenings! If I am staying in your home, I will adhere to any and all restrictions or safety practices you have in place for your pets.
“We had Lauren take care of our dog, Reyna, and all went really well. She sent daily pictures of Reyna on walks, interacting with her dog, playing with toys and just chillin'. She also replied to any questions we had on a timely manner. Lauren relayed that Reyna got along with her dog, Charlie, and the other dog she was watching, Hannah, really well. Lauren seemed like a really kind, laid-back person, and so did her fiancée, and we would most definitely consider leaving Reyna with her again anytime we are out of town. I recommend Lauren to anyone that's looking for a kind and responsible dog-sitter.”
“Adam was great. He watched Sammy for 4 nights along with another dog in his apartment. He is clearly a dog lover and took the doggos on plenty of long walks, including a 5.5 miler with some of his friends. He sent me cute and funny pics multiple times a day to keep me posted on everything. Very pleasant and easy to coordinate with, and followed all of my instructions.
