“This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! About: Hi!! My name is Shana, I have 4 fur-babies of my own that my husband & I treat like our kids. We Celebrate their birthdays, get presents for Christmas and go on vacation with us. They have their own room and beds. My pups have lots of toys so you don’t have to worry about bringing any, as we can share!! We have a fenced in yard with plenty of running space and a screened in porch right at the entrance door (to the side of house) which leads out to the fenced in yard . I have had all sorts of animals throughout my life: chickens, rabbits, cats, goats, ducks & of course dogs, all thru sickness and health. I am self-educated with the experiences and personalities I’ve had with those said animals. I also breed French Bulldogs and I have a page site on Facebook. About: I have always had experience with dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and I know how to care for them. I have also had experience training puppies as I have had two of them. I feed and let my dogs out daily. I also make sure they get enough exercise and take them for walks as much as I can. We put one of my dogs on a leash while they go to the bathroom and let my other dog roam wherever she pleases because she knows the boundaries of the yard.

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was in my 20s. I have crate and potty trained all my dogs. I have patience and compassion for dogs. I would often meet up with friends and family at house party gathering and dog park gatherings to socialize my dogs and to show them love, companionship, and that they are a member of the family not only a pet. I've kept and cared for dogs until there dying age and paid for there cremation. I am indeed a dog loving person. I am currently taking care of my mom who has dementia 24/7 and I am home with her all day. The only days I'm out the house is when my mom or myself have a doctor's appointment. The time I have during the day, I can do dog walks and drop by to feed and let your dog out to your yard. I currently have a chiwawa mix dog name Romeo and he is fed, taken out for walks and sleeps on my sofa everyday. He is encouraged to play, fetch and have treats as rewards. He is shown love everyday and has all his shots and vet visits up to date.

About: I’ve had experience working with my own zoo of animals ranging from reptiles, to small animals, to birds, and of course cats. I also have experience with dogs with plenty of experience administering medication to a wide range of animals. I’ve also worked at a kennel for 2 summers walking dogs. As a full-time High School Teacher, my availability opens up significantly in the summers. Lucky for all of us, that’s usually when everyone wants to enjoy the weather! Depending on the situation, I can be very accommodating and flexible for whatever you and your pet needs. My wife and I have our own zoo of animals ranging from reptiles and amphibians, to rabbits, to fish, to birds, and of course cats. While we are getting ready to purchase our first home together before we add a doggy to the mix, I have years of personal experience with dogs, with some professional experience working at a pet inn. Every night I spend at least 30 minutes tending to the care of our various animals, checking in on them and documenting feedings while taking note on any physical changes or abnormalities. The cats of course get more attention and more feedings, usually about 4 small meals spread throughout the day ranging from dry food to various wets foods.

I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs. About: Hi!! My name is Shana, I have 4 fur-babies of my own that my husband & I treat like our kids. We Celebrate their birthdays, get presents for Christmas and go on vacation with us. They have their own room and beds. My pups have lots of toys so you don’t have to worry about bringing any, as we can share!! We have a fenced in yard with plenty of running space and a screened in porch right at the entrance door (to the side of house) which leads out to the fenced in yard . I have had all sorts of animals throughout my life: chickens, rabbits, cats, goats, ducks & of course dogs, all thru sickness and health. About: I have years of experience. i have had animals all my life and have taken care of all different kinds - turtles, sugar gliders, rabbits, ferrets, lizards, cats and dogs. i have had to take care of senior dogs, and of dogs that needed medications everyday for either seizures or for pain due to being hit by a car. I look out more for the animal than i do for myself it seems. I work from home, i can play or arrange services M-W til 3p, Th and Fri all day long, and the Weekends before 7a and after 3p they can be all mine. My home is not fenced in, however my dog is trained and comes when called and doesn't need a leash. If Dogs are coming to my home; they will require a leash and harness. Customers will advise on how animals needs to be serviced in there home.

“We were desperate last minute for someone to watch our dog on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We reached out to Lydianis and her husband Alex on Rover. They were very quick to respond and continued with good communication throughout the entire time they had my dog. They took the time, at a very busy time of year, to meet us on the Sunday before at a local park and introduced their beautiful Lab Chase to us. Seeing how well they handled Chase and how understanding they were of Clementine’s intimidation, really eased our minds of my small dog being around a bigger dog and it showed how compassionate these two fun dog loving people are towards their guest dogs and owners. Prior to Clem's stay, they asked all the right questions about how to care for her and what they could do to help with any anxiety, when to feed her how much, etc., We felt very comfortable with them and liked both of them very much! About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
